[Recipe] White Gummy Bears
submitted over 8 years ago by ButteringToast

This is my first recipe that I feel happy enough to post!

Flavour Notes:

I tried to get this as close as to tasting like those white gummy bears as I could.

TPA Gummy Candy (PG)

This is the base note of the flavour. It holds everything together. It gives the vape its thick sweetness but isn't too sweet or overpowering. I personally find that it gives the vape a full mouth feel rather than making it an "empty vape"

INW Pineapple

I love INW's flavours, so I am a little biased here. Their pineapple has the right amount of sweetness paired with that acidic flavour. For a INW flavour, it is actually quite weak (hence mixing at 5%). This is the main flavour in this vape.

INW Peach

This flavour is strong, any more than 2% and it will start to mask the pineapple. The peach adds the sweetness and adds a little more depth to the vape.

INW Dragon Fruit

I see Dragon Fruit as a negotiator between the peach and the pineapple. It helps blend the two flavours together in perfect harmony. Without adding it, it give the impression that something is missing.

Sour - Optional

I personally add 1 drop of sour to 10ml. You can taste the sourness on the exhale of the vape on the back of your tongue. This translates to a nice sweet vape on the inhale and on the exhale you get a completely different flavour.

Shake and Vape - But best with a day of steep to remove any harshness.

6% TPA Gummy Candy (pg)

5% INW Pineapple

1.5% INW Peach

1.5% INW Dragon Fruit

0.3% INW Cactus

1 drop per 10ml of Sour

If you are making a new post just for a recipe you need to include flavor notes. I'm surprised it's been an hour without anyone telling you this. if you don't want to post notes then you can post your recipe in the monthly recipe thread.

Recipe looks good! But rules are rules. You need to include notes as to how you derived at these flavors.

Looks great! But include your recipe notes as others have already stated. For example, you can explain your development process used to change your original recipe into your updated version.

Thank you for the help bud! I have added the flavours notes now - Do I need to go more in-depth or am I good?

You may want to take a look at HS pineapple, as it does a lot of work in my white gummy bear recipe, Gummer. It's also possibly the best pineapple flavor available in the US

Well, definitely take a look so we can be 100% certain. I just picked up a bunch of sour flavorings from different companies to figure out which is best and if they even work.

I will let you know when I get home. I can't taste the sour in inhale, but it is definitely there on the exhale.

I am really interested in your findings. I have only tried tfa sour and fa sour wizard with fa being my favorite of the two.

Don't see too many recipes with INW Dragon Fruit - one of my fav concentrates and very different than TFA. I can see the rationale on INW Peach here, as I get a strong peach ring profile from it. I've only tried INW Shisha Pineapple, and it was pretty funky (not as crazy funktown as FA though, but in the same direction). Is INW Pineapple more stable and juicy/fresh? Also never used 6% TFA Gummy Candy (pg or tri), only dared to go up 1%. Do you get any off notes using it that high? Does it increase steep time mucho mundo? Thanks for the share, uh like candy.

I actually prefer INWs dragon fruit, but TFAs has its place in some mixes.

I have shisha and standard pineapple. The shisha has a more synthetic smell to it. I can imagine it being pretty harsh! The standard pineapple is much more mellow and fruity IMO.

No off tones with Gummy Candy at 6%. Steep time is best after a day, it's a little harsh when mixed.
