Hello, I'm looking for specifically concentrates that only have to steep for 1-3 days for most of the flavor to come through. Preferably ones that don't change drastically after the 1-2 week mark.
THE FRUITS
- CAP Harvest Berry (1d) - After capella alcohol simmers out from one day steep, has that gummy fruit flavor.
- FE Lemon (1h) - This lemon is straight up harsh, but it stays harsh. It's just straightup pure in your face cutting your face open lemon. I love it. Sharp as a yellow rock.
- FLV Mango (S&V) - Has notes that play hide and seek when mixed with certain flavors but doesn't change much over time as a standalone. (Thanks ID10-T)
- FW Watermelon (2h) - Very slightly harsh, flavor is full. Doesn't mature barely at all.
- INW Cherry (2d) - Very strong, very clear cut, very accurate cherry, simmers down after 2 day mark.
- INW Raspberry (2d) - CRAAAZY harsh after first few days, then slips in nicely to be a smooth raspberry.
- INW Banana (2h) - Ready instantly, doesn't seem to mature as a flavor much, runty.
- INW Lime (0d) - NOTES NEEDED (Thanks terraborra)
- INW Shisha Lemon (0d) - NOTES NEEDED (Thanks terraborra)
- INW Blueberry (2d) - NOTES NEEDED (Thanks terraborra)
- INW Strawberry (2d) - Steeping tones down floral notes. (Thanks terraborra)
- INW Peach (3d) - NOTES NEEDED (Thanks terraborra)
- TFA Kiwi Double (12h) - Has nice strong bold tart the whole time. The sweet candy kiwi is a bit harsh at first, simmers down after half day.
- TFA Ripe Banana (2h) - Ready instantly, doesn't seem to mature as a flavor much, runty.
- TFA Orange Cream (1d) - (Thanks deskpoprisk)
- TFA Pear (S&V, 1-2d) - Pretty good immediately. 1-2 days is perfect. (Thanks Lulzorr)
- TFA's Honeydew II (S&V) - Pretty much shake'n'vape and doesn't change over time. (Thanks fruity231)
THE NON-FRUITS
- FA Caramel (1d) - Dark sweetness, ready off the bat, very dry, doesn't seem to mature much.
- FA Marzipan (3d) - Sweetness right off the bat, nutty cherry character settles in after few days.
- FA Meringue (3d) - Sweetness right off the bat, hard frosting character settles in after few days.
- FA Yogurt (3d) - Has a hollow outline of flavor profile, then at 3 day mark, BOOOM, DAIRY, COW in your face. I swear......I'll figure this thing out.
- FA Custard (S&V) - Seems to be in its best shape on the same day, degrades and develops a lemon aftertaste after a few weeks apparently, no bottles ever lasted that long around here. (Thanks 3423553453)
- FW Hard Candy (2h) - Harsh sweetness at first, simmers down after very quick steep.
- FW Rainbow Line Gum (S&V) - NOTES NEEDED (Thanks Oldguynothumbs)
- FW Scooby Drink (1d) - NOTES NEEDED (Thanks Oldguynothumbs)
- INW Cactus (2d) - Very sour and sharp before the 2day mark, but has a subtle sour green taste that sticks around after the 2 day mark that goes along with fruits.
- INW Mocha (0d) - NOTES NEEDED (Thanks terraborra)
- INW Shisha Vanilla (3d) - NOTES NEEDED (Thanks terraborra)
- TFA Cinnamon Danish Swirl (2d) - Cinnamon simmers down after 2 day mark.
- TFA Cinnamon Spice (2d) - Irritates the throat, but tastes right before the the two day mark, after 2 days, it blends in, then as time goes on it sort of just meshes in with the recipe.
- TFA Swedish Gummy (4d) - Right away it tastes like chemicals. day 1 it's half gone. day 2 it's vape-able. day 3-4 is where it gets best. (Thanks Lulzorr)
Please help me out by giving me your personal favorites and the steeping character of them. I'm looking to help other people out with these catalogs
I'll go ahead and add any comments to the list with credit! Also anyone can supplement my descriptions if they feel like I missed some important notes! Or if I'm just plain wrong.

FA Custard seems to be in its best shape on the same day, degrades and develops a lemon aftertaste after a few weeks apparently, no bottles ever lasted that long around here.
A few weeks? Have you ever tasted it solo shake & vape? It's there from day 1, along with a tiny orange note, lol.
I don't experience that at all with this flavor. But I usually use it around 1% in mixes. Do you mix it solo? Or as the main body?
FLV Mango. Shake & Vape. Has notes that play hide and seek when mixed with certain flavors but doesn't change much over time as a standalone.
And many more. This is going to be a very long list with many, many fruits on it. Seems like you'd do better to have a separate catalog of non-fruits that that steep quickly and a catalog of fruits that require steeping.
Honestly was going to consider this. I've been on the lookout for fruits that take a day or two to mature. Strawberry (ripe) is a good example of a concentrate I don't like because it's overwhelmingly strong compared to other bakery style flavors that I use. And I like to mix, test, mix test, then wait and test the few different trys a few days later. But fruits tend to ruin that ability by overpowering everything. Reason I tend to like INW's fruits.
Honestly, for these catalogs, I plan on going back and reviving them making new ones, reviving them. Just to keep them fresh and revolving, so always a possibility!
Thank you, Added!
& Split up
I'm surprised the fruit section isn't already much longer. Are you dispelling a myth that fruits tend to not need as much steeping or just not getting enough responses?
SC Mango is a fun one. It's really only good for a short steep if you're trying to use it as a mango main flavor and not just some generic tropicalish peachyness addition. After a couple of days the flavor fades out dramatically.
I can add a few from INW:
- INW Lime (0d)
- INW Shisha Lemon (0d)
- INW Mocha (0d)
- INW Blueberry (2d)
- INW Strawberry (2d) steeping tones down floral notes
- INW Peach (3d)
- INW Shisha Vanilla (3d)
Is this info going to be in the wiki? This is a good collection of data you got going.
;)
heh, I'm in the process of compiling a massive excel spreadsheet that lists all of every flavor ever. I'm working on getting every column of information I possibly can. For FA I'm getting all the descriptions from the FA store, for TFA I'm trying to get a column for each individual chemical probably broken out by CAS #.
Then I'm going through the ATF & ELR pulling links for each filling in that data. Then I'll be able to make a script that converts this excel sheet into an xml import where it will auto fill the Wikipedia with every wiki page right off the bat.
I'm dead on funds for the next month or so, so no real testing can be done, so in the meantime just raw hardwork and community help is what I'm gonna be spending my time on.
Good catch though!
TFA swedish gummy tastes great after only 4 days.
i find that right away it tastes like chemicals. day 1 it's half gone. day 2 it's vape-able. day 3-4 is where it gets best.
TFA pear is pretty good immediately. 1-2 days is perfect.
Curious why you put cactus in non fruits, isn't it supposed to be prickly pear fruit? I could never really tell since it always tasted like aloe vera and bubblegum to me. Not that it's bad, but I don't think I ever quite got the same out adding a dash to my fruits like others seem to get (still prefer dragonfruit for that purpose).
