Strawberry vanilla cupcake 2.0
submitted over 8 years ago by DemonicMixer

A pretty straight forward yet delicious cupcake with a bit of frosting on top.

Vanilla cupcake TPA/CAP Both really good flavorings where cap's version is more focused on the frosting aspect and TPA's more on the fluffy cake side. The 1:1 ratio gives the prefect amount of cake/frosting.If you like a bit more frosting you could easily bump the ratio up to 2:1

VBIC shoutout to /u/matthewkocanda who once mentioned in one of his beginner blendings that the vbic/cupcake combo brings everything to another level.he was right about that

Vanilla Whipped Cream That's the "Secret" ingredient. It's creamy, light and has a bit of dairy note to it.Without it the recipe won't be as good

Sweet Strawberry/Ripe nothing fancy here, just a classic strawberry combo.you need that fairly high percentages to stand against those vanillas and shit

Biscuit Just add some buttery properties to your cupcake base.this shit is so good

The Recipe

Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (TPA)@3%

Vanilla Cupcake 2 (CAP)@2,5%

Vanilla Cupcake (TPA)@2,5%

Vanilla Whipped Cream(CAP)@4%

Strawberry sweet (CAP)@3%

Strawberry ripe (TPA)@5%

Biscuit (JF)@0,5%

Excellent , back to basics . This is exactly what i'm looking for , a straight vanilla milkshake would be great as well but going to try this first.

As far as Hazelnut , many people do like that with strawberry type mixes and it does impart a particular nuance but i have been leaving the Hazelnut out lately even with "Dirty's" classic Strawberry Milk.

I actually like it more without it , just my preference though.

I'm mixing this up when I get home as I have everything needed for it. I'm glad someone is utilizing the VBIC / Cupcake combination and seeing that it works nicely. Also, the addition of CAP Vanilla Whipped Cream, spot on my dude. A little worried that with a 4% on that, you'll get some weird off notes during a steep, but it might be just right given the other creams in here.

Looks bangin, I'm gonna add 1% FW Hazelnut to this after I mix up your original recipe and taste it, because I feel that little addition will be great here.

Great job, I'll report back with some notes after I get to tasting it. Cheers.

Is it cheating at Mixxed Round 3 to ask if you're primarily adding Hazelnut for what it does for the strawberries, or the cupcake base, or both equally?

JK, I know it's the strawberries, I was listening (mostly) Monday night.

Personally my thought was what it would add to the cupcake base and not so much to the strawberries but that's just me.some advanced mixing wizard like cokecan might use it for another reason which i am not aware of

That would have been my thought, too, but /u/matthewkocanda was talking about some kind of indescribable magic that FW Hazelnut performs on strawberries. I can vouch for it doing magic things elsewhere but I haven't tried it with strawberries yet.

Dude i'm honored that you gonna mix that shit up and that it looks good to you.Hopefully you won't be disappointed. For a second i also had that thought to add some hazelnut in there, but since the overall flavor percentage is so high already i dropped the idea.I'm curious about your notes though.keep on releasing bangers!

Hi, i almost have all the flavours here so kinda going to ask,

Can i leave out the cap cupcake ? and maybe up the TPA cupcake ? JF biscuit, can i sub that with inw biscuit ? and what % would you think would work ?

I know the profile you have gone for will not be the same with the subs but just had alook for JF biscuit and no one is stocking it here in the UK.

if you leave out the cap cupcake and up the tpa one you'll be getting more of the cake without the frosting but i'm positive that i'll work. You can absolutely sub the biscuit and keep the same %.let me know how you like it
