Down to no Nic, miss the burn

Hello,

So I've managed to get down to 0 nicotine but desperately miss the burn I would get from the juice that had nicotine. Does anyone know of a additive I can add to replicate that burn I use to get from nicotine?

To anyone reading who thinks this is a sarcastic answer - it's not. TFA Jalapeno at 1-3 drops / 10 ml gives both throat hit and a peppery taste similar to nicotine.

Is the pepper taste analagous to earthy pepper flesh (think mild green/red/yellow bell), or is the pepper you refer to closer to heat/bite (think scoville scale/capsaicin)? I considered buying some recently, just wasn't keen on the thought of inhaling pepper spray.

If the choice was between those two, heat/bite. But unless you use a ton, it's more like the way smelling a hot pepper hits you in the olfactory senses. A nice little bite.

Try 50/50 vg/pg. Muchh harsher throat hit

If you don't want to up the PG any more than that, you could always try menthol juices.

70 VG isn't that high for me at least. It's my sweet spot. Go 50/50 or even more PG. You'll get the throat hit and better flavor.

Ive tried making 70VG juices, they just dont give that satisfaction that 50/50 does.

If you are going 0nic i would actually try going even higher in the PG, wicks better and flavors are less muted than with VG. Maybe start off at 50/50, but also try 40/60 maybe even 30/70.

I'm not saying put actual cinnamon in your mixes, just the cinnamon flavorings. There's a handful of them available. Some of them have a harsher throat hit, which would in some way imitate a very subtle throat hit like nicotine.

FA Flash doesn't do it. I got it and even tried with 15% and they recommend like 1-2%. It was a big let down.

Like CAP Vanilla Custard would mean Vanilla Custard by Capella Flavors.

FlavourArts the manufacturer sells a concentrate called "Flash" that emulates the throathit of nicotine. It is marketed as a Tobacco. I have no experience with it personally but here are some store links which have a little bit of additional information.

Sadly, there's really not anything out there and Vodka isn't an option for me at least. I have tried FA Flash but that didn't even work at 15%. Increasing PG didn't help. Honestly, I don't actually get any throat hit from PG. That part is indeed a bit overrated IMO.

Sure there are some concs that gives more throat hit than others, but you can't compare that too nicotine and you don't want to use the same conc over and over again.

Honestly, I had high hopes for FA Flash but it was a big let down. I even got two of their bottles but it just didn't work. Throat hit is a big part of my vaping if not the biggest and because of that reason, I will still continue using nicotine.

Adding some menthol flavoring could provide a throat hit too. Most menthol flavors tend to do that for me, even the fruity menthol ones.

Or I've heard people recommend tfa jalapeno or Capsaicin for throat hit.

There is a flavoring concentrate somewhere out there that is designed specifically for this purpose. I wish I could remember, but Wayne has mentioned this somewhere...on his videos, or podcasts, I don't remember ><

No, not a throat hit. Just a kind of ashy, earthy taste. Similar to some cigarettes, especially Marlboros, but in taste only. Vaguely reminds me of cowboy killers.

indeed. sounds like OP is looking for the effects of nicotine though. I've found another element that creates a super ashy flavor. One Stop's tobacco absolute tastes like a "relit cigarette" according to my dad. Lol. At least it does when it hasn't steeped. Waiting to see how it develops.

I was in the same dilemma, right know I don't need Nic like I use to, I can go weeks without vaping soo instead of vaping all day without Nic I vape maybe 1 ml or less per day or each 2 days with 3 mg thats my solution

try adding 1-5% distilled water, some people taste no difference some do. I haven't tried anything over 1% and couldn't tell a difference.

I find TPA bubblegum to get harsh at higher percentages. Could try that if that flavor appeals to you
