Hello folks,
I hope you are all well.
I just thought I should pop in to preemptively apologize for the shipping backlog we are currently working through.
As most of you probably know, North Carolina had a snowy/icy weekend.
What you probably don't know is the absolute chaos a sprinkling of snow can cause down here (it melts then freezes again turning large areas into skate rinks). We didn't ship on Saturday due to the weather, and now we also have a bunch of staff stuck at home unable to get to work, so we've gotten even further behind where we usually should be on a Monday.
We do have a skeleton crew here, and we're getting orders out as quickly as we can, but not quickly enough to clear the backlog in as short a time as we would like.
Next Day/Urgent orders are shipping as usual but realistically, we won't get back to our usual speedy turnaround times for a good few days I would guess.
So I just wanted to apologize if you are waiting, and let people know what's going on, hopefully before people start getting frustrated by the delay, and to let you know that of course, we are doing everything we can to catch up.
We appreciate your understanding...
Thanks
Bull City Flavors
Hard to be mad at a vendor that kicks ass 24/7 and then preemptively apologizes for delays that are, for the most part, out of their control. Don't even worry about it bebe, I'll just pretend my order is 'steeping' until you guys get caught up. 1.
Thanks. It is appreciated.
Oh and if anyone on here receives a package that looks kind of amateurish, maybe it looks like it took the guy a few goes with the tape gun, or the packing has a small hole cut and then retaped, as if someone kept forgetting to add the packing slips or something, I'd just like to say that it was like that when I got there.
This is completely unacceptable. I ordered seven seconds ago, and this delay is literally killing me. Horrible!!

Considering most flavorings have an unlimited shelf life for the most part.. if anyone gives a flavor vendor crap for taking a reasonable amount of time to get an order out due to themselves being late on juice deliveries aka (online vendors) I say shame on them for not having a large enough back-stock for their businesses .. just saying... I've always been amazed by BCF's quickness personally and wouldn't even consider questioning my order progress unless it's been weeks and I've heard nothing..
Bottom line ..Some people don't understand how good they've got it...
Central PA here, I love when it snows a ton, then it melts over the weekend and people are like "YEAH! All the snow is melting! Cool, that's great!"
Then sunday night as all the snow is melting the temperature drops like a bomb and everything gets a nice thick invisible layer of slippery death.
Love BCV! As soon as I'm not broke, gonna be my next order. Only place to get certain ingredients I want! And Great service!
Anyone who lives in the South understands completely. We hoard milk and bread enroute to our bunkers, and go on lockdown for almost a week at the slightest dusting of snow. Schools are still closed here in the Palmetto state and everyone is home watching Clemson vs Alabama. You guys are top notch in my book and have never let me down... Go Tigers!!
I put in my first order ever for DIY on Friday at 4. It shipped this morning at noon. I was truthfully stoked it shipped so fast, so don't be so hard on yourselves! Apparently even on your bad days your team is still better than the rest! :) (Also, having lived in Charlotte for 2 years... I feel your snow pain. Hopefully no flaming car pileups this year!).
As a Midwesterner, I'm chuckling at how a little snow & ice apparently cripples those of you in the south. However, you guys rock, stay safe, thank you for the update, and we'll be patient on our orders.
Edit: think driving in snow & ice is tough? Try riding a bicycle on 700C tires, on brick streets, in ice & snow, =p
They just don't have the resources available to deal with any of it like those of us in locations where it is common
I was in Tennessee once when there was an inch of snow on the ground, now I know what the apocalypse feels like =]
Yeah, we sort of take it for granted that we have the infrastructure and the experience to handle regular snowfall up here, but still, it is a bit funny.
What an awesome company to come out and let us know about delays in shipping, that's really respectable. Also thank you for whoever humored me by drawing a unicorn vaping an ecig on my order receipt. It really makes my day to see such a silly request of mine actually fulfilled.
I sure hope order #111020 has some goodies in there due to the delay.
Entitled much?
