INW Little Space Drop
submitted over 8 years ago by ChemicalBurnVictimresident tobacco specialist

Setup: Druid with the short barrel, dual coil 9 wrap 24g kanthal, .37 ohms, 70 watts, cotton wicks

Testing: INW Little Space Drop @ 3%, 80/20 VG/PG, 3 mg nic, aged 3 weeks

Flavor description: From mega tobacco tasting note thread: "at 5%, tobacco and according to the website, roasted walnut. I get the walnut but not the roasted part of it. More of a fresh, slightly green walnut, if that makes any sense. It might do well in a mix but I don't like it as a standalone."

From me: Wood and walnuts. It almost tastes like FA Black Fire before the fire is lit, if you can imagine that. Very strong at 3%.

Off-flavors: I wouldn't say there's anything "off" from what was intended. Just very strong. Wouldn't use as a stand alone. More a background note to be used in the .5%-1% max range.

Throat hit: Bites the tongue, but pretty easy on the throat.

Uses: In the back of a tobacco mix. You'll want to think "hmm, there's something interesting in there, but I can't quite place it." Go above 1% at your own risk.

Pairings: Tobacco, nuts, maybe worth a shot in a fruity tobacco. I'll probably try it along side FA Black Fire and see how that goes.

Notes: All the notes I have on it are included above. I bought this flavor once before, but never used it when I smelled it. Decided to give it a fair shot. Gonna try it somewhere. Most likely in a rework of my 555 mix.

Maybe it's for the best. I had a friend who took LSD and got diagnosed with schizophrenia.

I use it in the wonderful Nanner/Polar Bear clone recipe from /u/project_twenty5oh1 as a change up. The original calls for TFA DK @ 6% and I swap that out for the LSD at 3%.

The original version is what got my BIL to finally quit smoking and switch to vaping and the LSD swapped version is what got his wife to do the same.

Interesting, I'm going to have to give this a try. That clone is one of my adv.

Anyone know why it's named that? Is there some Polish lingual/cultural reference there?

I've got an unused vial of it AND the "Dirty neutral base" since I thought they might work together, but then I got away from tobacco flavors for a while. Any thoughts on how those two might work together or what I might use with them to maximize their flavor synergy?

No idea about the name. Google translated to Polish, then google searched that and nothing came up. Maybe something like a walnut falling from a tree being a little drop of space? Who knows.

Since I got dirty Neutral Base, I've used it in quite a few mixes. I don't see why it wouldn't work with the LSD. I don't think there's anything that will clash there. I'm probably going to try some LSD in a mix with FA Glory, and I'll throw some DNB in there and see how it comes out. After my test of the LSD I dripped some single flavor Glory in with it and it was pretty good. I wasn't a huge fan of Glory by itself, but those two together was surprisingly good. Maybe with some DNB and something to mellow out the higher notes a bit, it will be a good combo.

I'd say your guess of falling walnuts is probably as good as any... Maybe the guy that names them is a grateful dead fan, lol.

What about flavors off the tobacco spectrum? Would a fruit like blueberry or candy/liquer type thing become a tobaccoish version with just LSD and DNB? Or do they need to accentuate a tobacco "base" flavor?

I would guess that they could be used with fruits, but I don't know about adding a tobacco note to them. The DNB is more of an additive for tobaccos to add an ashy flavor. The LSD I'm thinking I will only use as an additive as well. For the tobacco note I'd use a tobacco absolute or maybe something like INW Dark for Pipe or INW Gold Ducat (depending on if you want dark or sweet and light.)
