Love some Gambit or Mother's Milk but tired of paying a buck a ml? Then you are in the right place my friend. First, did you use the sidebar and search feature? There are also specific clone threads linked in the sidebar. If these have turned up dry, then please post your request for a clone recipe here.
However, you should know that most of the experienced users no longer buy commercial juice. Again, why pay $1/ml when you can mix amazing juice for less than 1/10th of that? Anyway, if you'd like to request a clone, this is the proper place to do it. This post will repeat monthly via AutoModerator.
Happy Mixing!
Reverse clone request: Does anyone know what /u/ID10-T was cloning when he made Mother of Dragons' Milk? I refuse to believe that DIY_eJuices "self-appointed" village idiot could come up with something so unique all by himself.
Ha. Ha.
You're just determined to enjoy that flair as much as a flair can be enjoyed, aren't you?
Have you been posting stuff like this this all over the internet? Is that what's behind the recent surge, which seems to have finally abated?
Maybe I should change my ATF description to something more stately and becoming of the office of moderator. Meanwhile, if you like reading people's ATF descriptions, check out /u/Runtdastardly 's. Just beautiful.
Hey Runt, would you like "Bursting with dorky enthusiasm for mixing" to be your flair?
Milking it for all it's worth!
I actually hired an incredibly cheap botnet to swarm the recipe page; which is why the results were odd but not extraordinary.
Of course I follow Runt. I'm vaping Osiris as I type (not even kidding)
Hah! YES! Yes, please!
It's not as if I need a flair to reveal my dorkish enthusiasm for mixing, I think my post history does that just fine, but I would wear that flair proudly. :-3
Am I reading it right? Best VG: 0%, that surely can't be right or is it? Shouldn't it be the other way around?
Recipe was created and posted to ATF before a the "recommended VG percentage" feature was added to ATF. 0% VG just means the recipe was created before that addition or the mixer was lazy and didn't bother to fill in that blank. For the record, I mix all my juices at 70/30. I'll go change the recommendation for that one to 70% VG immediately, but I don't have time to do it to all my recipes today and if you look around there you'll see plenty of others that say 0%.
Anyone got a recipe for Moku Oyatsu White Gummi? I've tried the various white gummy bear recipes but they're never based on this particular juice.
It's definitely pineapple and a hint of peach but can't get it right.
Thanks in advance!
Have you tried FA white peach? It has a very gummy like quality to it. maybe mixed with FW gummy bear and/or FW hard candy? Not sure about the type of pineapple though.
It's the pineapple I can't narrow down, it's a sweet but not sickly sweet, slightly tart pineapple that's definitely the predominant flavour over peach. What percentages would you recommend?
Milk of the Poppy by Blue Dot and Maui Sunset by Blue Dot.
; ]
Peach yogurt :(
Yogurt was trickier back then. It required lots of layering (that's the trick to most of our recipes). At this point grab some FA Yogurt (new version), some CAP Sweet cream (keep it low) and some FLV Greek Yogurt then start trying different peaches. Layer layer layer until you find what works for you because almost every single individual flavor is lacking an element that needs to be filled by another. Very common for one of our recipes to have 5 to 10 different flavors in it.
I love Titan by Blue Dot. Haven't been able to find a clone recipe yet.
Buckland by Artifact Vapor (/u/fizzmustard).
Anyone know where he went? I cant get him by PM or emailing his website:(
I don't. I hope he's OK.
Surprised to see you posting in the clone request thread.
Buckland is my white whale. I haven't came close. It's the ONLY juice that I would purchase. I really don't expect to get any suggestions, but this is another attempt to get his attention:) I too hope all is well with him.
To be fair to myself, he hinted that his line may contain some specially blended flavors, not just the readily available run of the mill stuff. FA White Peach is there (I believe), but the "earthy malted grains" are a mystery to me.
If begging won't do, then name your price for the Buckland recipe /u/fizzmustard! =)
Agreed. The only other place I've tasted such a great grainy flavor is, hold your breath, 5 Pawns Symmetry Six. I've got a 2nd home near Asheville, and I tried to message him to see if he was ever around the stores that sell his juice, but no response at all. I too hope he's okay.
Looks like we're in the same boat on our "White Whale" projects. Buckland, Genoa and Symmetry Six are mine as well, and I've not even got close on the grain aspect. I went as far as forming a, ahem, "fake" LLC so I could purchase custom flavorings from certain manufacturers who won't sell to the public, or vape companies. You can customize every aspect of your flavor concentrate with some of these companies. I did find one concentrate that was the taste, but it was VERY harsh and didn't mix well at all with other flavors.
Reds apple iced or selfie Sunday( same thing ) Apple juice flavor
Ez duz it on ice by Ruthless
Strawberry watermelon menthol but it also has a sort of flinstones vitamins texture and another flavor I can't really figure out
I would also love a clone for EZ duz it on ice.
Im looking for a VTNW Sasquatch clone and its even more urgent now that they have closed there doors.
I have tried a couple ones I found here that all used a combination of these flavorings all TFA and something seems missing
Wild Blueberry
Bavarian Cream Or Sweet Cream
Hazelnut
Please someone help me
You're missing dairy. And some strawberry ripe.
Thanks for the tips I'm new here and really trying my hardest not to post any stupid questions and really just take it all in. Reading random threads recipe threads, 101 threads and even just posts by some of the more experienced users here. I feel like im learning a lot from peoples language interacting with each other, the format and framing everyone is using to speak to each other etc.
I know some people jump into diy right off the bat but it seems most people get caught in the constant gear acquisition phase of vaping always chasing the next piece of hardware (myself included) as if that's the best most efficient way of improving our vaping experience which In my mind its a bit ridiculous considering we are vaping elquid. So after finding a hardware setup that works well you would think the most logical evolution or progression of Someones vaping experience would be to focus on the liquid they are vaping and improving that and tailoring it as much as possible to personal taste.
It really blows it took me this long to figure it out but I feel the the next step if you look at vaping as a progression would be DiY. Tailoring my juice to me lol I had 10 different hardware setups that worked for me 1 year and thousands of dollars ago its a shame I didn't figure it out sooner.
Hey I feel you, man. When I started DIY, there was a lot to take in. Nicotine seemed scary, there was so much terminology and it already had an elitist vibe. After going through the hazing (and learning so much because of it), I began to love the process. Everyone here is incredibly helpful and will not hesitate to point you in the right direction in regards to any of your mixing questions.
At the end of the day, what's important is for all of us to stay away from those cancer sticks.
Oh and yeah, I can totally relate on the gear part. It's a constant struggle every month deciding between getting new flavorings or new vape gear.
This should help. Along with this. VTNW used TFA flavorings with few exceptions, which may explain why so many Samsquanch clones rely on TFA flavors.
I used these notes as a starting point for two VTNW clones (Crunch Addict and Teddy Pear).
He treated my favorites bluntly.
>Berry Crunch- 8/10 - 7% and up. This flavor is pretty damn good, but we prefer to mix it with berries and milk, because the flavor is a little corn/chip heavy by itself. People love this flavor- check it out!
>Pear 7.5/10 6% and up. Not sure how to describe this pear flavor other than "savory". Not quite as bright and fruity as one might expect, and lends itself well to savory blends. We use this in Teddy Pear (mixed with Apple)!
The same cannot be said for Sasquatch, but Matt's 10/10 nuts, dairy, and berries would be a good starting point. From personal experience, I would recommend the following:
-
Try TFA Strawberry Ripe. I haven't vaped Sasquatch in a long time, but if I remember the flavor correctly, that should be a given.
-
If this clone is so urgent that you're neglecting quality steep time, please reconsider. Sasquatch needs to sit.
Let us know how it turns out my man!
Lime slush by Draco favors.
It's a some super sweet limeade with a touch of Koolada, but for the life of me I can't duplicate it. All my mixes come out too harsh or lacking that sweet lime punch.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
A flavor description by /u/ConcreteRiver rang familiar though I have never tried FA Aurora myself. https://www.reddit.com/r/DIY_eJuice/comments/5m9777/fa_aurora/
I'd give my left nut for a clone of Cloud Alchemist's Arrakis. I've been trying to piece together a recipe but my flavor experience isn't that broad yet.
It's described as a woodsy Italian tobacco spiced with cardamom and clove and just a touch of sweetness.
I've purchased a few tobaccos and clove and cardamom but I'm not getting the right tobaccos I fear. Not even close.
If anyones ever had it, mckinley by adk would be nice to clone. Im experimenting currently and have a nice chai juice but its nowhere near close. I think they actually use a green tea base and mix the spices in separately, with a bit of catalan cream maybe, and im tasting a subtle citrus too. I don't have catalan cream nor have tried it but based on others' flavor notes, it seems like it fits the missing puzzle piece really well, maybe with a dash of mandarin or blood orange in the mix (this idea was planted in my head after browsing chai recipes on elr/atf late last night, found one that was just a chai, cream, and a bit of orange... totally changed my train of thought trying to clone this)
Aftermath by Flawless - "A Creamy Glazed Donut. Filled with juicy blueberry bites. Served with a side of Vanilla Bean ice cream and finished off with a touch of Crunch Berries." So good
Betty Wu by 7 Drops please. It's a "Granny Smith apple infused with pomegranate nectar."
Does anyone have a recipe for Pinup Betty or NKTR Sour Strawberry?
Cosmic Fog Euphoria would be nice! The one recipe I could find wasn't all that good
What recipe did you try? 6% blueberry wild TFA 4% blood orange FW 2% Bavarian cream TFA 2% graham cracker clear TFA 1.5% lemon TFA
I tried this one, but had to substitute a few of those with Inawera and Flavour West aromas. Also instead of graham cracker I used INA biscuit.
I know it's not ideal but this is what I had to go with.
Maybe I'll try it with the intended aromas next time I order some.
I would literally toss dwarves at Fort Knox until the gold vault busted open for someone to help me find a perfect clone of Bonfire by Vape Addict.
I've tried this one http://e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/757931/Bonfire%20clone
Tried various levels of blueberry/pomegranite and changed up the watermelon from FA, to LA to TFA. It's just missing a certain something that I can't get right.
Any one heard of Papa Bear by The Vape Corner (San Diego). The house description says Papaya with "other juices" and berries. I get Papaya, a little mango and I can't nail down the berries. I saw a recipe that said 8% Papaya and 3% Gummy, I don't have the Gummy bear to see if it's even in the ballpark. But I'm not buying the Gummy, although I could be wrong. (wouldn't be the first time).
Given the name. I suppose it could be in the possibility bucket, I haven't had any experience with Gummy Bear flavoring. Any thoughts that it could possibly work?
Here are just my .2 cents because obviously I have never tried the juice. If it's a mass production juice, they are probably using TFA or FW papaya. The mango is very likely FW or Capella. And the berries could just be some type of mix berry flavoring like Capella harvest berry. I don't think gummy would work since it has a gummy taste while it sounds like you're looking for a fruity tropical mix. I would try:
TFA Papaya - 8%
Capella Sweet Mango - 5%
Capella Harvest Berry - 2%
You will need to tweak the percentages to your liking. I can see a bit of dragonfruit or Pineapple working very well in this mix too.
Hey everyone- New to DIY. I would love to clone bazooka sour straws strawberry or green apple. It's been my go-to since it isn't that bad price wise for 200ml, but I know it Would be a lot better if I can come up with a DIY recipe. Any help is appreciated.
Cranberry Crumble by MBV and Carnival Apple by MBV. These are my ADVs and they are not discontinued. And MBV wont give me what they used...
I can tell you that MBV definitely used TPA cheesecake grahamcracker crust on the crumble and FA fuji on the apple, but beyond that your guess is as good as mine.
Happy Ending, by pink spot.
I've seen people saying the secret ingredient is menthol. I've seen people saying it uses marshmallow, others coconut. Some say it's fruity, others cakey.
The efforts I've made (8% Capella French Vanilla 4% Flavor West meringue 3% Flavor Art Butterscotch 2% Tasty Puff Coconut 0.3% Flavorwest Creme De Le Menthe) weren't even close!
Almost posted this on the main feed, dogded a bullet there!
I am new to mixing, I plan on getting a clone of Vape D Lites' Deep Fried Oreo perfect some day. That said, I am looking for help getting to some day sooner.
I don't really know or care to know what a real deep fried oreo tastes like, I just want to recreate whatever Vape D Lites put into this juice. Would mixing the flavors used to make a fried dough vape and an oreo vape work? Or am I simplifying things? I see from the flavor description on their site that they talk of ice cream so surely its more than just fried dough and oreo.
Any and all guidance would be greatly appreciated.
After a couple of years (and countless dollars) of looking for an adv I finally fount one which is made by a local shop here in new Orleans. Unfortunately it is extremely expensive! After tax it's over $77 for 120 mil and it's burning a hole in my pocket. If anyone would like to attempt to clone it, I will gladly send some of it to you and would purchase a bunch if you can recreate it!! I'm really hoping someone who can do this will try :)

I am horribly failing at cloning "Just Jam": https://www.reddit.com/r/DIY_eJuice/comments/5oahli/weekly_new_mixers_questions_thread_week_of/dckuoas/
It is a very accurate flavor and tastes exactly like pure strawberry jam, without any extra notes. It is a bright and very sweet liquid without any harshness. The inhale is pure sweet strawberry and the exhale has the jam-parts.
This is a really long shot, but there's a juice made by The Steam Co in CT called "Valyrian Ore" (formerly Sean Lepreconnery). A couple of years ago we vaped the hell out of this. Between me, my boyfriend, and my neighbor across the street I was ordering 8+ bottles at a time.
The description on their website is:
"Valyrian Ore is an Irish Creme and Bourbon blend with a hint of caramel."
While I've been DIYing for a couple of years, I just don't have the skill to try to clone this myself. If anyone already has I will give you my firstborn (don't worry, he's 28 and has a job). Thanks!
Snake Oil by seduce juice
- the clones out there aren't quite right.
Any of the new Vapetasia Fruit N' Custard line?
Not really a clone but here's a tip. Find a custard base that works for you. Then just add your favourite fruits to it. Example:
Custard Base:
Capella Custard - 5.5%
Capella Marshmallow - 2.5%
Capella French Vanilla - 2%
Capella Sweet Cream - 1%
Flavor West Bavarian Cream - 0.5%
Then just add whatever fruits you desire. If I'm hankering for a strawberry, I could go with:
Capella Sweet Strawberry - 5%
TFA Strawberry Ripe - 4%
And you'd have a decent Strawberry custard.
Wondering if anyone has found a recipe close to Isotropic by Magnetix Vapors. I'm sure that it has a very decent mix of pineapple, kiwi, and guava. I haven't been able to craft a decent recipe without having a horrible almost alcohol taste even after a good breathe and steep.
I'm considering getting mixing my own juices and am trying to gather some recipes before I order my first set of supplies, does anyone have a clone or something similar to naked 100's brain freeze? It's my everyday vape atm and would love to start off with something like it.
A couple requests, any help with any of them would be great.
Adirondack - Seneca, which is now Colden.
BX - Melonlyptus
Reds Iced Apple. Not sure how popular this is, my cousin had it. Pretty straight forward red delicious apple with some menthol, maybe a touch of strawberry.
Im new to DIY, placed a first and a second order, and really hoping to just get a shot in the right direction towards some fruity menthol ADVs. Thanks!
