Been vaping your beloved flavor all day, and it's just not tasting the same? Think no more, Mix up some lemon and menthol, throw it in a spare RDA that u don't really care about and take 10-15 pulls for 30 minutes or so...and voila, freshly cleaned palate and your juice will taste delicous again. I now carry this spare rda with me so i can always taste the delicousness in my juice! hope this helps someone
malt vinegar mouthwash will do the trick a lot quicker. Maybe dont swallow it unless you like vinegar.
Are you serious or just kidding? That sounds fucking extreme.
serious. works fine. vinegar is a great pallet cleanser. also malt vinegar tastes really nice.
I've never heard of malt vinegar. Will have to try this, thanks. I bombard my tongue with listerine several times per day and it doesn't help my taste buds, that's for sure.
Have you tried this with Apple cider vinegar? That shit is awesome for so many things. I need to get back into drinking it again.
That reminds me... I was working yesterday, tending bar on New Year's Day, of all days. A young man came into the bar looking very sad. He said he needed a drink. He had blown chunks after partying too much last night and needed to get the taste out of his mouth. I told him not to worry as everyone blows chunks once in a while. The young man said, "You don't understand. Chunks is the name of my dog."
Good advice. I have a similar palate cleanser that uses INW Eucalyptus w/Mint, FA Aurora, and INW Cactus.
INW eucalyptus and mint 2%
Fuck your mouth.
>/u/tranceinate
INW Eukaliptus Z Mieta at 2.5%. I like it fresh and I keep a tank loaded with it at 40W at all times. 2 pulls between flavor changes does WONDERS for your palette.
Also, drinking a glass of water is pretty helpful as well. I've been noticing dehydration from chain vaping so I'm up to a gallon a day. Orange juice helps cleanse the pallette too.
Any specific Lemon or will Lemon Sicily work? i usually keep a jar of coffee grounds next to my station and just sniff it a couple times and it seems to help a lot with helping me smell things. Now doing this to help cleanse the pallet may be an even better idea!
Hmm. I work at Starbucks and it seems like I can taste my vape pretty well on my breaks and right after work. I've never realized I've been sniffing coffee hardcore all day and that attributes to it. Sometimes I have to grind five pounds of coffee at once and smelling all of those terpenes at once gives you a headrush if you sniff right off the bag your grinding into
Right!? Idk how it helps reset the olfactory senses, maybe because it's super earthy ? I mean, my dispensary keeps jars of ground coffee at the counter so you can smell the coffee each time you smell a new jar or bud.
Exactly. I believe there is some science behind it but I haven't brushed up on it recently, I know you have scent receptors in your nose that get filled with particles of terpenes and whatnot and then the receptors sense it and send it to your brain. I remember hearing smell is one of the best "tools" to bring back a memory because the sense gets sent directly to the brain in great detail in a different way then other scents. There's a test for Alzheimer's literally measuring how you smell peanut butter and from what distance. Coffee I think is unique because it dosent lag in the receptors long and may be a good baseline to reset and better sense other smells.
Lucky you for living with dispensaries! Hopefully NJ will catch up :(
