I understand where he's coming from, the calculators indeed don't exactly provide the feature he wants. On the calculator, you can choose how much nicotine there will be in the finished product - not how much he needs to add to an already finished product. To not calculate it by hand, I would suggest putting in the nicotine strength at 20 mg/mL PG and setting the final ratio of the liquid to be 100% PG.

You can adjust the value of "amount to make" until the end result shows you 30 mL PG to be added into the mix.

I can't save the final amount at 35.3 mL, it has to be an absolute value. But this gives OP the answer he's looking for.

Is this for mixing by weight, or volume? Looks like weight to me, except like the other guy said it should be g not mg.

Use a calculator? Make a recipe for a 30ml mix with 20mg nic w.e ratio being 100% vg/pg or a mix of the two. Make the target mg 3mg and it will tell you how much nic to add to the 30ml mix..

If your bottle is already 30ml it might be off my 0.05mg-0.2mg but it won't be a huge difference..

I mix 100ml + batches and only add nic when I refill a 15ml which is 0.65g to get 2mg nic juice..

Just keep in mind that when you add the nic, you will be diluting your flavor by the amount you add. If your nic is 3mg, it shouldn't be that noticeable but it may.

Just estimate. Your nic is 20. Target is 3. 3 is about a 6th of 20.

Fill a container 1/6 with nic then top it off with your flavoring.
