Setup: Velocity clone; dual twisted 24awg Ni/28awg kanthal @ .27Ω; cotton wicks; 45 W
Testing: Hangsen Highway @ 3%; Aged: 3 weeks
Flavor description: After about a week, this flavor resembles more of a medium roasted nutty peanut butter with hints of tobacco and maybe a little caramel. 3 weeks in, the sweetness comes out a little more as does the tobacco, however I'm personally getting more roasted nuts than anything, with a bit of a peanut butter/tobacco vibe in the background.
Off-flavors: I suppose you could classify peanut butter as "off", but to me it does not take anything away from the overall enjoyment I get from vaping it.
Throat hit: 2/10, very smooth, yet it carries a thick, almost heavy feeling
Uses: Excellent as part of a tobacco base. I have seen other mixers crank the % up to 6 or 8% and use it standalone without it getting weird. Personally, I think 3% is plenty though.
Pairings: Other tobaccos, AP, chocolate, vanilla, even some bakery flavorings would become interesting paired with this at a low %.
Notes: I've read that this flavor is extracted from real tobacco. To me, it doesn't come across as an overly strong tobacco, but the other supporting notes here really make this flavor worth trying if you have the slightest interest in tobacco flavors. To me, it is definitely a lot sweeter than others in its class.

This is going on my grocery list. Thanks for the review!
I just figured it was because it's Sunday and the sub is generally pretty slow on Sundays. Either way, this was listed in the top 10 selling HS flavors on BCV which is more or less why I picked it up. No regrets. It's almost like a more sophisticated relative of RY4.
