Has anyone actually tried mixing with 'Synicotine' ?
submitted almost 9 years ago by LeeBristol

With all this talk about 'Synicotine' synthetic nicotine recently has anyone here actually tried mixing with it? I would love to know their experiences e.g does it affect flavour? What's steeping like? does it change an amber colour? I assume you still need gloves? Does it need to be stored in amber bottles etc etc

Who, us bunch of cheapskates?

Seriously tho, I don't see an upside to it, especially when we already have access to great nicotine now.

I like the idea just for the sake of argument that there are literally no tobacco derivatives in the juice. Sourcing nicotine from other members of the nightshade family would work too, but it's probably cost prohibitive.

If the thinking is that it may be a "loophole", think again. The over-reaching government will do what the heck they want to do. There is literally nothing to stop the FDA from coming up with any arbitrary rule to regulate it.

Well, there will be a new hand guiding them soon, so there is that....

They've recently deemed it not a tobacco product, so it can't be regulated the same. However there is nothing stopping them from classifying synthetic nicotine as a scheduled drug....

There has been one post in this sub about it recently. That's it. You just can't go online and buy synthetic nicotine, as it is not available to purchase unless you are a certified lab. There are one or two people here who I believe have access to a lab, but I don't think anyone has mixed with it.

I was under the impression that NN sold "synthetic" nic.

That is incorrect.

Hiliq sells synthetic nicotine under the name "NTN".
https://www.hiliq.com/ntn.
I got a bottle of it in the freezer but havent yet been able to test it.
I'll think it could be used to make high nic juices to go with low-volume devices like icare etc.

It's nicotine. You can use it to make juice for any device

ofc! But with normal nicotine I had problems with the peppery-taste when making 24mg/ml+ liquids. Synthetic nicotine is said to not have this effect at high concentrations.

I like how they photoshopped their logo onto a stock photo.
