Substitute for TPA Hickory Smoke?

I was gonna make one of the recipes from the Hurricane Vapor recipe book as I want a new tobacco ejuice but the top rated one calls for TPA's Hickory Smoke which is not on their website anymore.

Is there a substitute for it? Only about 1.2% of it is required in the flavor mix. Will its absence make a drastic diffrence?

Never had TPA Hickory Smoke, but if it's anything like actual hickory smoke I'd look at FA Black Fire. I can't imagine going up to 1.2% with Black Fire though, seems pretty aggressive. Maybe start at .5% and see where it goes.

This is solid advice. I have both flavors, and FA Black Fire is a more intense TPA Hickory Smoke, but minus that oddly vinegary back-note that TPA HS and some actual culinary liquid smoke has (looking at you, Colgin!)

Though it's stronger, FA Black Fire is ultimately more use-able, I've found.

i have a small vial of hickory smoke. very very strong taste. taste like smoked barque sauce lol. never had another flavor like it but thats the taste it has

If I eliminate Hickory smoke from this recipe. Will my mix suffer much?

I'd say just try it and see if you like it. I'm no pro but I'm sure there would be a small difference. Have you ever had this with it before?

Never tried. But reading very good reviews for it online so decided to do a mix. I am a bit bored with the usual 6-7 recipes I have been making for the last year or so... so I thought I'll give this a try. I am in India so getting concentrates here is a problem (custom duties and 100$ shipping and what not) so I gotta be sure about whatever I order because I can't get these things very frequently.

0.18% is a tiny amount. Just skip it. Won't be a 1:1 mix, but, there's enough other stuff going on there that you likely won't miss it much.

At first I gotta get the concentrates and I am not in the US so getting them is a once in six months deal for me. So I gotta be doubly sure :)

Ah, word. The question of "can I substitute A with B?" comes up a lot and it gets really annoying. Sorry about that.

I would suggest that you also get some of the concentrates in this list.
