I need your help here! What is the best way to calculate my ejuice when I have a pre-mixed base (80/20 VG 6mg nic) and lots of flavors. I also have a scale (with 0.01 g accuracy) and syringes. I can't seem to understand how to use any calculators around to get it to work. I dont really care that much about target VG/PG or nicotine strength. Any tips?
It just so happens that /u/Queuetue of All the Flavors just created a video covering pre-mixed base and how to use it. If you aren't using ATF I highly recommend it for the great calculator and recipe database, and there is a cheap subscription option to access more features and support the site if you end up really liking it.
I'm starting to sound like a shill haha, so here's the mentioned video. Btw, this question will likely be deleted if not moved to the New Mixer's Thread so if you want more answers I would repost this there.
Try eliquid recipes, put nic at 0 and your base as the desired ratio. Then plug in your flavors and percents. I used to use base too and elr was easy.
I'm not sure but I think you just plug 80/20 in your calculations and add the values together. What calculator are you using that might help?
I've tried eJuice Me Up and Recipe Calculator (which doesn't seem to work that well, very slow).
Yes, I tried that. But I don't have a target strength or target ratio of PG/VG. So it changes the values when calculating, also the "grams set to equal 1 ml" becomes weird.
Try all the flavors. They have an awesome calculator! Also I just noticed that your nic is already mixed in. Your final mix will end up with less that 6mg/ml depending on how much flavor you use.
E Juice Lab app has an option to create a recipe with a premixed base. You create a base first, then select it for your recipe. I fiddled with it a bit before I understood it but it's not hard.
I just set Recipe Calculator to what the pre-mixed pg/vg/nic level is and add (well, round them close enough) together.
