Nice storage box for flavorings found at Harbor Freight
submitted almost 9 years ago by renrip

I was perusing Harbor Freight with a few coupons in hand and noticed a divided storage case looking very much like a good fit for my flavoring bottle storage nightmare. I picked it up and it works well. The cost at the time was $4.99

This is my first Redit post ever so I hope the formatting stuff works. I think that I'm good with the posting rules for this subredit.

Hope this helps someone in search of a good storage case like I was.

Too small for me, i use one of those 3 teir plastic storage drawers from Wal-Mart paid like 10 bucks. Only thing that sucks about it is that it bends near the middle of each drawer because of all the weight. I'm still looking for the be all end all storage container for all my flavors though. I would have to use that case for my mods, tanks, atties, wire, cotton and tools. That's really what i should be looking for but all these flavors gotta be calling my name all the damn time.

This is what I use from Amazon - they're $13 each shipped with Prime. I use two of them and ended up looking like this - that's close to 100 concentrates in the racks themselves (you could fit more if you have smaller bottles (10-15ml). I could probably use a third, since I now have one full row in front and a second starting...

It might help if you line the bottom with some sturdy cardboard. Might help it keep shape.

Shit, I never even thought of that. I'll have to see how good that works but thats the best idea I've heard for those storage drawers.

I use those for camping, lots of heavy stuff in them. Got some thin plexi glass type pieces cut for them, works great, stops the sagging. Before that I had placed some old, smaller cutting boards on the bottom of the drawers to keep them straight. One of them had an old clipboard I had cut down to size in it. Anything that wont bend will work.

Definitely a good choice for transporting flavors or if you need to put them away when you're done.

I've still not found a better option than nail polish racks for on table storage.

This. It's just nice having everything standing up so you can actually see what the bottles are.

it makes mixing and recipe development such a joy! Used to take me 15-20 min to find all of my flavors and now I can get them all together in under a minute.

I dunno. But I don't think my big Tupperware container full of bottles is going to cut it. I just ordered 50+ bottles from OSDIY and BCF. I haven't figured out yet what I'm going to do.

If you have the bookshelf/desk space I highly recommend nail polish racks, or if you have wall space they make nail polish racks for the wall as well.

For now I been keeping everything in a kitchen cupboard. Mixing stuff on the highest shelf and mixed juice and Vaping shit on the shelf below. All the flavors in the Tupperware sealed up to keep the smells sealed in with it. Then I mix in the kitchen at the counter. That's def a good idea. I'm just going to wait til I have everything in hand, sort it out and see where I need to go from there. More Tupperware defiantly isn't a good solution though lol

That's cute lol. I truly am glad you found something that works... for now. I have a bookshelf with 5 nail polish racks organizing my stuff now.

After seeing some of the massive flavor collections that some of you are dealing with I'd have to agree that my solution is in the cute realm for sure. I think that one more of these will handle as far as I plan scale out my flavoring collection.

I've said it before, but it bears repeating. Go to you local paint store, get about 100ish 5 gallon stir-sticks (free, just ask nicely) some quick drying craft glue, and build your own "nail polish racks" for less than $5.

Not sure if I can still reply to this old post. But can you explain how this is done? Have you got any pics of yours? I'm getting to the point where I need to do something different than plastic containers.

If I had the space this is what I would do. Nice setup.

Whoa, that is a serious selection. I'd be afraid that my flavors would go bad before I used up that much.

I bought the same one and it doesn't hold enough. I ended up buying 4 tool box pack which kind of worked. Now they just fill my kitchen cabinet.
