I am not an expert mixer by any means but I was wondering about adding new flavours at different stages, so here is the story I get bored of flavours very quickly, still looking for that all day everyday vape, spent loads on large bottles of designer juice etc.
SO say I would like to make a Watermelon 500ml mix ejuice is this doable and still taste great. I would start with making a basic but tasty watermelon juice let it steep etc vape it til I got bored is it then possible to add say kiwi concentrate to it to add a boost to the flavour and then a week later add maybe grape
I know this would alter the VG/PG strength and i would be essentially diluting the base mix etc but other than that would it work or would the mix reject new flavors and taste really bad as it would react differently.
I usually do additions to induce 50% fresh mix into the existing juice. Leaves everything the same except your flavor % if you decide to adjust on your addition. I do sometimes add a drop or 3 of extra fruit into some of my older bottles after a while.
Further explanation and examples here
Yea I get what your saying. It certainly isn't going to hurt to add a little bit of different flavor to a steeped mix. It usually adds just enough difference too keep it interesting.
I.e. I had some adapted sugar bear that was about 2 weeks old. I only made a 15ml batch but about halfway through it just started coming off like a blank cinnamon roll..what I did was mixed a little bit of strawberry cheesecake in it about half and it really brightened up the mix.
Good thank you
Also something you may want to consider doing is SEED STEEPING.
Basically if you got a juice that you really like and want to make more then once here's how seed steeping works...
First you want to leave about 10-15% of your pre made juice in the bottle...say it is a 30ml..well 10% of that would be 3ml..so you want to leave 3ml in the bottle AND THEN you mix your newly made juice in the 3ml...so your going to be making 27ml to go into the older almost gone bottle (3ml)..
What this does is make your 2-4 week normal steep drop dramatically to 3-5 days..so instead of waiting a month you might have to wait a week at most.
A very well known and good juice maker told me about this. It works
After you try it and wait 3-5 days please let me know how it worked out for you.
