So something I've been doing for some time now, is rather than shaking like a mad man, just simply twisting some wire, and utilizing it as a juice whisk. I've made a quick 3 minute video discussing how, why, and some info to take with it regarding oxidation.

Edit: language
Instead of being MacGuyver, why don't people just man up and shake it? It builds muscle. Trust me, your whacking arm will thank you, and your "stranger" arm might just even send you an Edible Arrangements from "Your Secret Admirer"
But do you lift?
Because I do, and I fucking hate shaking. 5-10 sec shakes do almost nothing, especially when you keep your flavors and VG chilly on purpose.
Yes I do actually. I shake until muscle failure with my left (dominant) hand, then I shake until muscle failure with my right. If your arm gets tired pivoting at the elbow when you shake, trying pivoting at the wrist.
Edit: Also 5-10 second shakes? You gotta work on your muscle endurance, bro. 15 sec minimum per hand is where it's at.
Just kidding, I love the fact you're helping people out.
Is there a sub for 22 gauge kanthal? I only have paper clips and a medium sized cock ring.
I've used a pistol grip dildo with success in the past. Could try that route..
Hmmm interesting!
I don't have shoulder problems and don't mind shaking my bottles at all, but for those that have shoulder/wrist/forearm injuries, this is a great solution as long as you don't go overkill on the mixing.
This. Violently slamming flavor molecules together destroy them(although no proof) I believe, and there's no need to zap a bottle more than 7-10 seconds. Get it whirled up, out of the centrifuge zone, and you're good. No need for extended periods of mixing here
"medium sized"
that's a big ass bottle of shisha strawberry
after watching this i feel the amount of shaking i've been doing is inadequate.
There was a shortage a bit ago, due to someone posting a successful recipe that used it, and BCV only had 120s, and, it's one of my favorite strawberries
And my shaking felt inadequate, which is why I've adapted this method.
Whoa, I came up with a very similar idea a few days ago when I was mixing some test recipes. I just took a paperclip (the kind I've got have like a plastic covering over the metal) and used some pliers to twist it around into a spiral shape. So it looked like this (roughly, lol): --------@
Then I attached that to my drill and mixed up each of my 15ml bottles for about 30-45 seconds each. Works really well. It's funny how I considered making a video of it, then I see this :P hehe
EDIT: I can provide pics of paperclips if needed.
Why not just use one of these?
Meh, why spend the cash when I can use it elsewhere? This works, and it works really well. The only way I would switch to something else, is if it were for some type of wire whisk like this and a dremel. Give it a shot, and let me make you a believer...
^Dont^Stop^Belie...
Oh, it's clear that this would work. Some people do prefer to have something less "rigged up" though.
Hell, some people don't have a drill handy. Plus i had one of these things back in the 90s and that little fucker would whip it up fast. Had to be like 10,000 rpm.
At the risk of getting on a watch list for having lab equipment at home, I decided not to reinvent the wheel. I just shake with a standard vortex mixer. Used models are cheap and plentiful on eBay, you can buy new units as well. They work great they save your arms, and you don't contaminate your mix. Magnetic stir plates are another option, but I like the plate type vortex mixers the best.
Or just get a £1 IKEA Milk Frother.
You can keep it closed separately and used only as a vaping tool so it helps with hygiene.
I can't watch this. Wong camera orientation. 😆
So could you in theory do this to some commercial ejuice to separate the flavoring and figure out what flavorings they use and scrape the sucralose off the top layer?🌚
Hm, interesting idea. I'm new to the whole DIY thing, so I don't have 22 gauge kanthal.... or for that matter, any wire what so ever just laying around my apartment. I do, however, have guitar strings. Does anybody have a sense if that would be a good replacement? Next time I do a string change I might have to try bending up a low-E string, though I'm wondering if it maybe isn't stiff enough.
Great idea! Is that INW Shisha Strawberry in the background? =)
