I would call that fairly oxidized. especially at only 36mg/ml. When I buy 100mg/ml, and open a fresh bottle, it's mostly clear with a hint of yellow to it.

That does not look right. I would see about being refunded

Very oxidized. If it's new, I'd request a refund. I've had some nude nic in my closet for 6 months and it's still clear

i have ~200ml of 6mg 70/30 that's been sitting in front of my tv for like 2 months and it's still so clear i can literally see the seam at the bottom of the bottle. where did you get it from (tinypic sucks balls. i could only get each picture to load once) and how old is it?

e: just as an fyi clarity, isn't always an idicator of quality. just dripped some of my base and it's still as harsh the day i got it. which is why i have 200ml left out of a 250ml bottle.

FLAKE ALERT: Oh, you can "literally see" the seam? I'm so glad you included that disgustingly overused and misused modifier. Had you not, people would surely have assumed you can only metaphorically see it--or maybe even symbolically see it. Thank you for clearing that up; you are such a master of the English language.

hmm... it appears that you need a better hobby. might i suggest that you literally juggle rusty chainsaws

Your condition is improving. Now you're merely overusing the word instead of doing that AND misusing it. And on the subject of calling my critique a hobby: I'm HELPING you--I love to help people--so your evaluation is partially correct. There is no better leisure than serving others. Take some advice and don't talk like a fucking idiot.

You do realise that pointing out something so trivial in someone's sentence makes you look like a douche canoe, right? It's like being a "your & you're" nazi.. If you understand what is being said, why does it matter if they misused a word or two? I understand grammar and such is important.. but, he's not helping his uncle jack off a horse..

You do realize that I don't give a flying fuck what you or any other pathetic moron thinks I look like, right? I point it out because I have been sick for years of hearing people overuse and misuse the word "literally." I feel the need to ridicule every single snowflake who can't have a single conversation without saying it at least once. If you paid attention and didn't have a deficiency in brain cells (using the term "douche canoe" just gives it away) then you would be sick of it too.

That looks dreadful.. How does it smell?

I don't want to start anything, but nicotine really shouldn't be inhaled (even if it is only 36 mg/mL). Maybe a better way of asking about scent/taste would be to dilute down to desired level in pure vg/pg and try a vape.

Practically anything can be wafted. I have no issue with 100mg/ml, and worse (true vapours) from chemistry classes!

To be agreeable, I see where you're coming from but I absolutely would smell my nic if it looked like that.

Haha, I hear ya on the anything can be wafted part.

I have a BS in chemistry and still work in the field, so I always get a bit worried when I see a "how's it smell" question. I always assume (I know, I shouldn't) folks are going to be nose to bottle opening, huffing the hell out of it instead of gently wafting it toward their face.

At any rate, judging by the darkness of their bottles the smell should definitely be easy to detect.

Side note: had a fellow researcher drop a bottle of some long branch thiols research material on the floor. Literally couldn't be in the building without smelling what appeared to be burnt, hairy-ass farts.

People come in and talk about their nic tasting like pepper. I think in your case instead of black pepper that'll be more like Habanero pepper. You should name where you got that from and send them the pics and ask for a refund. If you got that 3 days ago, even with crazy heat during shipping, they knew what they were sending so I'm thinking it might be a battle to get your money back and may have to cut your losses.

Don't even open it too so you don't break the seal if you haven't already for a better chance and then ask us or hit the sidebar for good nic vendors.

I know you literally just got into DIY but I'd really do a bit more research on 100mg that's probably pg as it's easier to work with than vg for the first time. If you use common sense and protection there's no way it's going to touch you even though it may seem scary. Besides the fact that it's cheaper it will be easier to follow recipes.

Why "literally?" I know it's unrelated but you should see my comment above.

I don't know if if should name stores in this forum. but it wasn't hot since I live in Sweden. but no weird smell or taste.

Eciggs.se, I have no issues outing vendors selling oxidized nic ;)

If you don't mind that it's a bit harsh, there's no harm in vaping it, but odds are you'll get tired of it soon enough. In that case, this is the nic you want

yeah since you said it now, that is who it is. yeah I will order frome esmokes next time. is the chemnovatic higher quality?

1 points

by leapinglabratsalmost 9 years ago

I've heard of other people getting poor nic from them too and that discoloration is the result of improper storage.

ChemNovatic is the best quality I've been able to find in the EU and since the bottles are opaque and sealed, you'll never see the kind of oxidation that you get from vendors who mix their own bases.

No, fresh nic shouldn't look like that. My 100mg I got from nude was clear, and after almost a year in the freezer and topping off with wine preserver when filling the small bottle I dispense from it's still clear, maybe with a very slight almost unnoticeable yellow tinge.

Especially at 36mg that's far more oxidized then I would expect fresh product to be, but it may be harder to get good nic in Sweden.
