Banana medicine

I'm not sure how popular this kids medicine goes, but anybody I mention to in person knows what I'm talking about instantly, so I'm hoping it's a mutual feeling. This is very vague as I have no info, but it's a thick yellow medicine that all kids normally get. It's considered widely as the best tasting medicine.

I have no clue as to how else to describe it, but I want it as an ejuice so badly. It's wondering where to start.

That's an odd request. Personally, I get that flu/cough medicine vibe from Lorann Banana Cream (I know, heresy!). It has a candy banana runts type of deal, which I assume is what they use in medicine, too, to make it more appealing to children.

Agreed- I just got LA Banana Cream Clear last week, and my friend who tried it blind specifically said it tasted like amoxicillin (banana medicine)

Well you got big time mixing talent so stick with it there is no rush . I was just curious as to what you were up to .

Sometimes you got to walk away & take a break to get a fresh perspective .

I was reading something that HIC wrote and he said it takes him up to 9 attempts at times before he even knows if something has potential or not lol.

I know some have high regards for him so it doesn't matter who you are everyone goes through tough periods .

Yup it's an antibiotic, and in Canada, or at least Ontario it seems to be a medicine that everyone remembers well. I just can't seem to describe it other then it's a banana flavour lol. Sorry can't help more. Just gonna have to trial and error I guess

Ontario banana medicine rememberer here. My little bro used to get ear infections when we were kids and so there was always a bottle of that stuff in the fridge. I only remember smelling it, not sure if I was ever supposed to drink it but I may have snuck a sip or two since it smelled so damn good. It's like a candy banana flavor. Not 'candied' with caramelized brown sugar, more like straight up artificial banana candies. The medicine is very thick so you'll need to replicate that mouth feel.

Someone will have to chime in with actual flavors cuz this isn't my genre at all but I would think you'll need the following..

Banana Candy (dirty p recommended LA Banana Cream which might fit the bill.
Custard for thick mouth feel.
Maybe marshmallow to thicken further
Drop of dark vanilla. Bourbon Vanilla maybe.

AFAIK, at least in the UK it was a penicillin medicine. I remember having it a lot as i was regularly ill. Although i never hated the flavour, i definitely wouldn't like to see it replicated in a juice! It was okay, but it was never that nice!

TFA Banana Ripe might do it at a relatively high percentage (2-3%). You might want some EM or marshmallow in there to thicken it up a bit to make it seem a bit more thick and syrupy. Maybe even with some LA Banana Cream like /u/thedirtyprojector suggested.

Is the medicine you're referring to an antibiotic syrup? I remember a prescription bubblegum syrup from my childhood that tasted like the nectar of the gods.
