So I lurk here all the time and I never know how this sub will react to anthing. With that said I haven't seen a list like this in a long-time so I hope you don't burst a blood vessel reading this.
It would be nice if people had more simple recipes as I will never mix something that has 10 flavors and I only have 3 of them.
So to start this off ill post my modest one I call "gingerbread cookie" (I'm not an artist and I name shit for what it is)
(Tfa) Bavarian cream 6%
(Tfa) gingerbread cookie 4%
(Inw) biscuit 1%
Flavor: its a shake n vape that gets better with a day or two. Tastes like a gingerbread cookie you buy for a dollar a pack at shaws.
Bavarian cream: it helps keep that gingerbread cookie from being a harsh ginger flavor. It also adds a butter taste I feel that helps almost everything and is my go to cream
Gingerbread cookie: I have never seen anyone here use this. I also have never had any other ginger flavor. I like this though its very strong ginger and also a lot like tfa cookie.
Biscuit: I use this to dry it up a bit. I shouldn't have to say much about this flavor everyone uses it.
Hope I formatted this correctly and no one is mad about a holiday post.
Holidays mean cookies for me, so these are my favorite holiday recipes:
Simple Sugar Cookie: 8% CAP Sugar Cookie, 4% CAP Vanilla Custard.
Snickerdoodle Cookie: 7% CAP Sugar Cookie, 4% CAP Vanilla Custard, 3% CAP Cinnamona Danish Swirl, 1% TFA Marshmallow.
Pumpkindoodle Cookie: 7% CAP Sugar Cookie, 4% CAP Vanilla Custard, 3% CAP Cinnamon Danish Swirl, 1% TFA Pumpkin, 0.25% LA Pumpkin.
ABDC, Apple Butter Doodle Cookie: 7% CAP Sugar Cookie, 3% CAP Cinnamon Danish Swirl, 2% CAP Vanilla Custard, 1.5% FA Fuji, 1% CAP Butter Cream, 1% TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, 0.25% FA Liquid Amber, 0.25% FA Caramel.
And this one, which is currently still a work-in-progress but is already really tasty as a V1: WC3, White Chocolate Chip Cookie: 7% CAP Sugar Cookie, 2.25% TFA White Chocolate, 2% CAP Vanilla Custard, 1.5% CAP Vanilla Whipped Cream.
CAP Sugar Cookie is very close to being the first flavor I will have gone through 120mls of.
Are you using CAP Vanilla Custard v1? Because I have a shit ton I need to use and these recipes seem awesome.
Short answer: Yes.
Long answer: I don't even write V1 after CAP Vanilla Custard because I don't even want to acknowledge the existence of V2 by typing V1. Because I hate it that much. It tastes like someone drank V1, let it slosh around in their stomach for a few minutes, then vomited it back up and strained it through a dirty gym sock into a Capella bottle.
I had the same opinion until I let a mix steep for 4 weeks. I'm not saying you'd love it (I don't) but... have you tasted a mix like this (using 9% v2) steeped for a month? imo the pukiness does eventually steep out, though I still prefer the taste of v1.
I have everything for that snickerdoodle so ill mix that up today. How important is la pumpkin for the pumpkindoodle? I never thought to use white chocolate in a cookie recipe before. Don't know why cause that sounds great. I have everything for that one too so ill mix that as well.

I think the LA Pumpkin is key to the Pumpkindoodle because it's like the pinch of pumpkin spice added to the cinnamon-sugar on the outside of the actual cookie. And it's the only pumpkin spice flavor I've heard of that actually has all the key notes of pumpkin spice in a nice balance - nutmeg, ginger, clove, and cinnamon. A combination of FW Pumpkin Pie Spice (I've heard it has good balance of clove and nutmeg but no ginger) and FW Ginger would probably work just as well, but I'm not sure on the amounts to use. Very little, for sure. It's meant to be just a pinch of spice.
All of these are based on actual cookies that I've made or in the case of the white chocolate one, at least eaten. The Pumpkin and Apple Butter ones I bake every year around this time for Thanksgiving dinner and office parties and such. The White Chocolate one was a cookie I tried that was similar to a white chocolate macadamia nut cookie but without the nuts. Instead of nuts, it had loads of clear sugar sprinkles on top. It's still a work in progress for three reasons: I've not tried it after longer steep let to see how it develops, it doesn't have any sugar sprinkles at the moment so I'm contemplating whether to add sweetener as nod to those or not, and the white chocolate is a bit high, making it more like a sugar cookie coated in white chocolate rather than one that's only got some white chocolate chips in it. It's really tasty though so far, without any changes.

Sounds like it would go great with my butter infused bourbon cocktail I make for thanksgiving.
Just wanted to let you know, your original 'Simple Sugar Cookie' was one of the first good recipes I ever made during DIY. I still make the original today and use it as a base for other recipes.

This made my Monday morning so much better. Someone called it "the Mustard Milk" of cookie recipes, which is exactly what it is supposed to be. Sounds like you would agree. And as you can see with the recent ABDC and current WC3 work in progress, I'm still using it as a base for other recipes too.

That looks tasty! Especially because you have the brown sugar in there. I haven't done much of anything with it yet, but on single-flavor tasting CAP Gingerbread seemed to be dying for brown sugar.

FW Pie Crust - 1.5%
FW Sweet Cream - 2%
CAP Vanilla Custard - 3.5%
FW Butterscotch Ripple - 4%
If you want a flakier crust, add INW biscuit at 0.5 - 0.75%
I've been told that FW Pumpkin Spice is a nice mix of nutmeg, clove, and cinnamon and not death by nutmeg or death by clove unlike its TFA Pumpkin Spice and TFA Holiday Spice counterparts. That sound about right to you?
