Blackberry Custard Pie
submitted almost 9 years ago by SadPandaVapesMixologist

Sorry we missed the past week!

To make up for it, this is one of my personal favs. Seemingly simple but uses small background notes to really take it to another level.

Blackberry Custard Pie -

0.5% Biscuit (INAWERA)
4% Blackberry (CAP)
1.5% Blueberry (FW)
1% Cream (Flavorah)
1% Cream Fresh (FA)
1.5% Graham Cracker (Clear) (TPA)
7% Vanilla Custard v1 (CAP)

Flavor total: 16.5% Remember to rate it at: http://tjek.nu/r/849R

This recipe is really just letting Blackberry CAP and Vanilla Custard CAP shine with nice background notes.

Blueberry FW is there to give a sweeter taste to the blackberry without altering the actual flavor too much.

Cream Fresh is lighter and Cream FLV is denser. The mix of these two make a awesome base for potentially lots of recipes that need a dash of milk to smooth things out and blend flavors together.

Graham Cracker and Biscuit combine perfectly to resemble the crusts you would get on a pumpkin pie or banana cream pie.

This recipe is very flexible and basic as well. I'm sure straight swapping fruits and bread/crust flavors would work very easily.

Steep time is at least 2 days but I never have the patience! It tastes just fine as a shake and vape but only improves and mellows out.

Thanks for reading everyone and keep on vaping!

This sounds tasty! Do CAP Blackberry and FW Blueberry combine to give this more of a fresh or realistic blackberry flavor or do they form more of a blackberry jam kind of profile?

I'd say more of a candy/jam type flavor.

For the most realistic flavor tastes I'd go with Flavour Art but be warned, some are too spot on for the real thing and actually don't taste that great because we are used to candies and drinks as opposed to the real fruit...like FA Mango.

I'll have to grab some FLV Cream soon, never had it. Have everything else though, so I'm excited to try this one and also with subbing out the fruit like you mentioned; I think lemon or banana could work really well!

Thanks for sharing this, looks great!

FLV Cream is really good. To me, it is very close to Sweet Cream CAP and TFA Dairy Milk but just done a whole lot better.

Hmm, I'll definitely pick it up during the upcoming sales. For now, perhaps I'll try with Sweet Cream or Dairy Milk in it's place, because I really wanna make this, haha.

Should work fine with either of those.

This is really good as a shake & vape.

Kinda glad I had ordered that Blackberry a while back to help get me over the hump for free shipping lol.

Thanks again for the recipe!

I made 30ml with 4% Cap sweet Strawberry without the Blueberry, as a shake and vape its sweet but good. Also made 30ml of Blueberry wild 2% and Blueberry extra 2% without blackberry and the FW Blueberry. Girlfriend raves about it even as a shake and vape.

Thanks for the recipe!

I bet the version with Sweet Strawberry tastes a bit like Mother's Milk but with a pie twist.

Glad you and the misses enjoy. :D
