Got a bunch of flavors but not sure how to make them work together? Post your list here, and our team of semi-professional mixologists will make suggestions for you! If you are impatient and want to do this on your own, here are a couple of good links:
- /u/daath has a nice website that has this functionality, but you will need to register to make it work. It is not very intuitive but if you work with it you can input your flavors and get a list of recipes that you can make. IMO this is the better site if you have the patience to make it work for you. Edit2: to get this to work, first set up an account. Then add your flavors to the stash (under my page / my flavor stash). hit save. Then go back to the front page and click the link next to the search field, "Search by flavor stash". You can select a couple of your flavors and recipes that have those will pop up.
- This site has a nice big search button with just what you're looking for.
Happy Mixing!
I'm out of everything except TFA honey, plz halp.
TFA Honey 10%
It needs to be 50PG minimum so it really picks up the flavour.

Hey I always theory craft my recipes from smelling and guessing. These sound pretty good! Although I will probably half all the %s since I vape 50/50.
Thanks a bunch mate, much appreciated! Also, bonus points for the names!!
Ended up making Dragon Milk as the first one, with my standard 50/50 6mg plus added VG to make it 70/30 3mg, reduced by 25% in a 30ml bottle so: 1,57g Dragonfruit, 0.68g Bavarian, 0,47g Strawberry Ripe, 0,25g VBIC.
Shaked, warmed, shaked, warmed, shaked until cold. Delicious!
Having trouble getting the creative juices flowing to coming up with new recipes or using my flavor stash at the e-liquid-recipe sites. Looking for input on recipes using my present flavor stash and suggestions on more flavorings to add to my stash.
Thank you, any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is the recipe for botboys awesome apple pie v2 with my added notation for your adaptation
- 4% FA Fuji Apple
- 2% FA Liquid Amber
- 2% TFA Pie Crust [skip or substitute something like TFA Peanut butter]
- skipping it would be the easiest but you could also try low amounts [0.1-0.5%] TFA peanut butter for a crust effect
- 1% INW Biscuit
- 1% FLV Caramel [1-2% FA Caramel should be fine
- 0.5% FLV Rich Cinnamon [sub out Cinnamon Danish Swirl im guessing 0.2-.5%]
- 4% TFA Vanilla Swirl
- 1% TFA Whipped Cream
https://www.reddit.com/r/DIY_eJuice/comments/3dpljm/awesome_apple_pie_v2/
that is for max vg use ~25-50% less flavor if using 50/50 pg/vg on an rda like myself. your results may vary
you could also try something like
- 2-3% FA fuji
- 2% FA Caramel
- 1% Liquid Amber (maybe)
or
- 0.3% TFA Acetyl Pyrazine 5% [sub peanut butter maybe ]
- 2% TFA Graham Cracker (Clear)
- 2% TFA Key Lime [kina fades after a week]
- 0.2% Koolada 10% [skip]
- 1% TFA Vanilla Swirl
those wld be for 50/50 and an rda

Most of these were chosen for specific recipes... and ELR is sending me a very clear message that I can make hundreds of strawberry and cream variations.
I'm expecting I'll need a lot more flavours... so please don't hesitate to tell me other stuff I should buy to open up some interesting options!
> please don't hesitate to tell me other stuff I should buy to open up some interesting options!
OK! Instead of suggesting recipes for your flavors, I'll suggest flavors for your flavors.
TFA Strawberry (not ripe) and TFA Bavarian Cream would open up great options for you to use with your Cheesecake Graham Crust, Dragonfruit, Strawberry Ripe, and Vanilla Bean Ice Cream.
TFA Kentucky Bourbon could be used with your FA Kiwi and TFA Toasted Marshmallow to make /u/Coop34 's extremely addictive Kiwi Bourbon recipe and should also pair well with your Banana Nut Bread and some of your other flavors.
FLV Cream, TFA Marshmallow, FA Cream Fresh, and TFA Raspberry Sweet will help you put that FA Forest Mix to good use and those are all versatile flavors that you'd use with other things as well.
FLV Mango is delicious and I have to recommend it before TFA Mango makes you never want to vape a mango flavor again. There aren't many public recipes using it yet but I'm working on that. In the meantime, it's ADV quality all by itself at 4-6%.
INW Peach is great but the best peach recipes will pair it with another peach for a more well-rounded peach flavor; FLV Peach and/or TFA Juicy Peach will open up more options on that front if you like peach. A lot of people also dig FA White Peach.
INW Pear is terrific; check this month's monthly recipe thread for a very nice looking simple pear ice cream recipe that you could make using your TFA Pear and TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, if you had some INW Pear to go with it.
Other flavors that could open up many possibilities for you: CAP Sugar Cookie, CAP Vanilla Custard, CAP Cinnamon Danish Swirl, TFA Vanilla Swirl, and LA Banana Cream
This is awesome, thank you!
You're welcome! I don't actually know of any proven recipes using only the flavors you have (though I would have quite a few if you also had the flavors I suggested), but if you want I can theorycraft some recipes for you using your flavors.
Really though, aside from making the recipes you bought your flavors to make, what you should be doing is single-flavor testing all of those flavors. There's an excellent post about that here:
https://www.reddit.com/r/DIY_eJuice/comments/4fdevi/modest_monday_reviewing_flavors/
And if you do that you'll be well on your way to crafting your own recipes out of the flavors you already have that will very likely taste better to you than anything I could suggest.
Everybody please help.. I have only been mixing for about a month now and i have no idea what to do with my flavors. other than a couple of half way decent recipes. Heres my flavors. (Cap) Harvest berry

I'd think pink lemonade, cool mint and a fruit, perhaps double watermelon sounds bomb. I don't have enough experience to recommend percentages but if I had the flavors I'd try.
*5% cap double watermelon.
*2% cap pink lemonade.
*1% cool mint.

Also, you've got a lot of great flavors here. Are there any flavors on this list that you especially enjoy, or are especially interested in finding a use for? Or, what are some recipes that you've tried and enjoyed? Knowing that that might help in suggesting things that you'd like.
- 4% juicy peach, or 2% Fuji or 2% TFA pear
- 0.2 - 0.5% coconut or coconut extra (never used either)
- 1 -2% Bavarian cream
You can switch out either the Bavarian cream or coconut for 1% key lime
There are 9 different recipes if the key like doesn't work in place of coconut try dropping the Bavarian cream completely and im sure it will be fine
Those are for roughly 50/50 drippin
Flavour Arts kiwi is better imo

And this Dragon's Milk: 7% Dragonfruit, 2% Strawberry Ripe, 2% Bavarian Cream, 1% TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream.

Thanks for the suggestions, already discovered the Dragon's Milk, it's awesome!

Tell us more about these basic recipes that you're happy with. What are they? Maybe we can do some additions and substitutions with them that will help with learning how different flavors work together.
Help! I got stuck mixing only one recipe from the white chocolate, english toffee, caramel, and cookie. I got the other flavors thinking I can make something from it. So far I've learned that blackberry is super strong and the hazlenut is weak, but I can't seem to make something that tastes as intended.
Blackberry (FW)
Blueberry TFA
Caramel (FA)
Cookie (FlavourArt)
English Toffee TFA
Hazelnut (FW)
TFA White Chocolate
What's this White Choc, English Toffee, Caramel, and Cookie recipe you got stuck on? Maybe we can try removing one of the ingredients and replacing with a good amount of your blackberry, blueberry, and hazelnut flavors. Also, do you know if that TFA Blueberry is Blueberry Extra or Blueberry Wild?
Its called fuzzbuster. 3% white choc 3% Eng Toffee 2% Caramel 2% Cookie. It's an old favorite of mine. and currently my ADV; cause I can't mix anything else. It seems the blueberry is Extra. I didn't find it in the product description, but it's in the address bar at ECX.
Great, let's try some variations.
Blackberry Fuzzbuster: 1.5% Blackberry, 3% White Chocolate, 2% Caramel, 2% Cookie. That's as high as I'd want to go with the blackberry, I think the caramel will provide the sweetness needed to counteract its bitterness.
Blueberry Fuzzbuster: 5% TFA Blueberry Extra, 3% White Chocolate, 2% Caramel, 2% Cookie. Should be enough blueberry to give it plenty of blueberry flavor without being offensive.
Mixed Berry Fuzzbuster: 3.5% Blueberry Extra, 0.75% Blackberry, 3% White Chocolate, 2% Caramel, 2% Cookie. Lowering both the berries to use them together but keep them from overshadowing the other ingredients.
Hazelnut Fuzzbuster: 7% Hazelnut, 3% White Chocolate, 2% Caramel, 2% Cookie. In case you really want to taste that hazelnut.
Fantastic Fuzzbuster: 3% White Chocolate, 2% Caramel, 2% Cookie, 2% English Toffee, 1.5% Hazelnut. Using hazelnut the way it's usually used, as a nutty and rich, creamy additive.

Just made this. How long would you recommend me steep it for? Also, how were you able to come up with these recipes? Can you share some of the thought process behind it?
I wouldn't say steeping is a requirement for that one, though it will probably taste better if you give it a day or two. Exceptions abound, but you can use this as a general rule:
Fruit: 1-2 days
Cream: 5-7 days
Dessert/Bakery: 10-14 days
I mostly took what others have done with those flavors and, where you were missing a concentrate or two for a recipe, substituted similar ingredients that you do have, either at an amount I've used them at or an amount others tend to use them at, and for switching from stronger to weaker concentrates and vice versa, at an amount roughly equivalent, strength of flavor wise.
I tried first to find you some positively reviewed, proven recipes, of course, but finding none that fit your flavors, nor even any complete and published but unproven recipes for that matter, I used what I could find and what I know to theorycraft some for you.
i just have 3 flavours :
- Banana Cream
- Peanut butter
- French Vanilla II all from TFA. What can i gonna do? Thx
6% TFA Peanut Butter + 7% Banana Cream.
vs.
6% TFA Peanut Butter + 7% Banana Cream + 2% French Vanilla.
Try them both and see which one you like more.
Also try
6% Peanut Butter + 2% French Vanilla
vs.
5% Banana Cream + 2% French Vanilla.
Thanks bro, gonna try it. how long you suggest to steep it? sorry for my bad english.
Hi guys,
I am looking to create a tropical flavour juice. Does anyone have any really 'stand-out' recipes that they have tried?
Some of the flavours I have that I think might be suitable are:
- CAP Golden Pineapple
- CAP Sweet Mango
- CAP Grapefruit
- CAP Sweet Tangerine
- CAP/TPA Pear
- TPA Mango
- TPA Cantaloupe
- TPA Papaya
- TPA Coconut Extra
- INW Shisha Strawberry
- INW Raspberry
These flavourings are not the only ones I have and I could always get more if needed.
Thanks very much in advance!
Stand out recipes using just those flavors, no, but if you go ahead and list your other flavors, it might be helpful in putting together a speculative recipe suggestion or two for you based on other recipes. As for stand-out tropical recipes that I've tried that you don't have the flavors for, hell yes.
If you'll forgive the shameless self-promotion -
And also:
Both of those are amazing. Although I haven't had a chance to try them yet, a number of /u/Philosaphucker 's other tropical recipes also look really good:
Many people also enjoy these:

Long list, kind of just bought a ton of 8ml samples from WL and I've got a lot of flavors that I don't know what to put together. My fruity blends have just been kind of off... Don't have the right idea of how flavors go together yet. I've made a Strawberries n Cream that came out really well and a pear one that came out pretty well I think for my first original mix, but the %s could be tweaked a bit (7% Pear, 1% Cinnamon Danish, 3% Cheesecake Graham Crust, 2% Marshmallow, 2% Vanilla Custard, 2% Vanilla Swirl).
Was thinking something like:
4% TFA Apple 4% FA Fuji 3% Cinnamon Danish V2 Cap
But I've got so many other flavors to play with
Edit: Apple mix came out well, might need more Cinnamon Danish and Cheesecake Graham Crust (which I'm out off) or Pie Crust (don't have yet) or VBIC (which I'm ordering)
Also made another mix that came out decent. 4% Dragonfruit 3% Cloud 9 3% Fruit Circles 3% Sweet Guava.
- 2% FA Fuji (can be subbed for peach pear or other apple flavors)
- 0.2-0.5% fa Coconut
- 1% FA vienna Cream
Try:
-
FA Pear 4% + FA Fuji 2% + TFA Dragonfruit 1%
-
TFA Berry Mix 7% + TFA Vanilla Swirl 4%
-
TFA Apple 4% + FA Fuji 1.5% + TFA Bavarian Cream 5% + FA Coconut 1.5%
-
CAP Sweet Guava 5% + TFA Dragonfruit 1% + Vanilla Swirl 4%
-
TFA Blueberry Extra 5% + CAP Harvest Berry 2% + TFA Whipped Cream 5% + FA Bilberry 1%
You can shake and vape 1. Give 2 - 4 a one-week steep and that last one a two-week steep.
Hey man, just wanted to let you know that the first recipe you gave me, that pear/Fuji one is awesome. I've mixed up a few batches for myself already and sent some to a friend. Everyone that tries it loves it. Thanks for the suggestion! I look forward to learning from you more as I get more involved in the community. I got a ton of awesome flavors from the group buy /u/ckive did so I'm all I'm now!!
Any suggestions are welcome. I have been doing pretty much strawberry cheesecake type recipes for a while now. I want to change it up a bit.

Try this Triple Vanilla Custard: 6% CAP Vanilla Custard, 3% CAP Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, 2% TFA Vanilla Swirl, 2% Cheesecake Graham Crust, 0.75% CAP NY Cheesecake.
You could also experiment with adding a little fruity note to liven that up, suggestions include: 1% CAP Dragonfruit, 3% TFA Strawberry Ripe + 1.5% CAP Sweet Strawberry, 4% LA Banana Cream, 1% Orange Cream.
