Heads Up, Flavor West website giving me virus warnings.

Was getting some information for a little project I'm working on and it looks like Flavorwest's own website shop:

Specifically

    http://flavorwest.com/index.php/double-dutch-chocolate.html

Was consistently setting off my virus scanner for Trojan/Malscript. Just figured I would throw it out there as a warning.

I know they've had some history of being shady in the past.....wouldn't put it past them.

Could be someone dropping a review with XSS or dropping a review that links to a malicious site.

Probably a compromised ad or script within the site, I'd notify them so that they can fix it.

What would they gain from putting a virus on your computer? Maybe we should ask them. Do they have a reddit account?

Probably just a bad script on the site.......For sake of open information I'm using Symantic Endpoint Protection.

Could be tracking cookies something like that, but it was classified as Trojan.Malscript with no additional information.

At this current moment I have no way to investigate further.

Sites get hacked all the time and infected with malware that generates a malicious header in all the web pages returned. I think there was one that was installing some apache module that injected an iframe into every page.

I don't believe I've seen them here, but you could always spam their facebook page about it if you have facebook. Might actually spark a quick response.

Not a bad idea. I don't want to knowingly visit a page that may or may not be trying to infect my computer with a virus though so I would have no actual proof that they're doing it. OP should hit them up if he feels like it.

Just actually checked, they are indeed on that list, and their website is still giving me the malware messages. Looks like it only kicks in if you go to checkout.
