Been trying to create an almost spicy traditional cola flavour similar to Fentiman's Curiosity Cola. Zap Juice's vintage cola has done a good job of it. I've tried using FA Cola, and JF Cola Freeze, but both are closer to Coke/Pepsi than the traditional Cola.
Any suggestions for flavouring to use to get that vintage cola flavour? Or maybe one of the master mixers here can pick it up as a project for their next recipe?
Thanks for listening
I have heard good things about INW Cola, though I have not tried it myself. It's on my to do list, would love some input on the INW Cola if anyone else has tried it.
I did pick up INW cola as well though admittedly I haven't had a chance to try it yet. I will whip it up standalone and report back if it will help.
Cola is flavoured with citrus, cinnamon and vanilla.
Fentiman's is flavoured with ginger as well.
You may want to pick up some of these flavours to use to adjust existing cola concentrates.
Open Source Vapor had an awesome Cola and they list their recipes so http://e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/717092/Open+Source+Vapor-+Toka-Cola-Not+a+clone+the+real+recipe+from+the+vendor. Medicine Flowers (flavoring they use) is expensive but if you have these flavors from other brands, the mixture still should work. You just have to figure out the percentages.
