I use it in a Lime Sparkle recipe I made, and to my knowledge there is no other lime like it. It's like pure concentrated lime juice, so zesty, citrussy and exceptionally strong. A tank cracker too.
I needed to replace it, so I bought a bottle of Inawera Lime from Chefs Vapour in the UK. Completely different. Closest comparison I could think is like lime flavour fruit pastilles (a candy in the UK). Very similar in smell to FA Lime Tahity. Not a realistic lime flavour, really.
Mildly annoyed, I decided to order from Inawera in Poland instead. What arrived had the same label as the original glass bottle, but came in plastic, and unfortunately the contents are the same as the stuff from Chefs Vapour (albeit more concentrated).

I tried emailing Inawera but didn't get a response. So my question is, is it known that this concentrate has changed? Anyone know why? And does anyone know of anything on the market similar to Inawera's original Limetka?

It's not the same label and it's not the same flavor.
Way, way back when I first started with INW flavors (Feb 2013) they had the e-aromat line, Wera Garden and TD. The lime you originally got was from the e-aromat line and came in a glass bottle.
Within a few months or so, INW started introducing another line, the "concentrates". It's not a description on the bottle, that's the name of the line. And then the Shishas came to be.
But then, they started to do away with some of the e-aromat's, leaving just the concentrates of that flavor. And the new Lime Concentrate flavor is all we have now and it doesn't require a glass bottle as the other did.
Fun fact: this is what led to my INW Raspberry nitpicking for so long. I had Raspberry in e-aromat, concentrate and WG. People who were just discovering INW were buying the newer flavors and others were being phased out - so many recipes posted just said INW Raspberry. And I kept asking if it was regular or concentrate and since the regular was now gone, every one just thought I was crazy ;)
Yep, I've got the glass-bottle version of INW Lime, too. I haven't used it much, as it is so strong that I abandoned it when I started mixing. Maybe I should break it out again, but if they have discontinued it, perhaps I should just not use it at all to save future disappointment. :/
I've been wondering the same with the INW Raspberry as you. There is Raspberry Malina (the currently popular, tart raspberry which people just call "INW Raspberry") or their Inawera Garden Raspberry (which seems to have been discontinued).

That is Raspberry Concentrate. Malina just means raspberry in Polish. And the WG Ras is still around - I like that better for some mixes but they're both good. Then again, I liked the original e-aromat Raspberry too LOL
Wow, I did not know that. So you're saying the e-aromat line is the same as the koncentrat ones, but simply more concentrated, or is it a whole new formulation?
Both really - new formulations and slightly more concentrated.

The new concentrates we sell, are improved basic flavours we had in offer: liquorice, lemon, raspberry etc. As Inawera produce their own flavours we got the most concentration possible in the new (basic) flavours. The price for them increased due to the cost carried out during the improvements and changes.
And
The new concentrates are just improved "old" flavours. Inawera gradually will add new ones. This is kind of natural selection of the flavours that will be kept and those which will discontinue.

I need the most realistic fresh raspberry available.. Can you explain the difference between Raspberry WG-INW and Raspberry Concentrate-INW. And which should I get, or do I need both?
I also happen to need the most realistic fresh lime flavor.. INW thoughts? Tried Cactus Lime? There's also Lime Concentrate-INW available. Can you explain the differences perhaps? Would really appreciate your help. Or if there's a raspberry and lime from a different company you recommend over INW please lemme know.

The WG is not quite as in-your-face as the Concentrate and it's a bit deeper? darker? Neither are all that 'natural' or realistic as far as fresh raspberries go. They're both good and best used 1:1 or use either of those 1:1 with FA Ras.

I haven't tried the Cactus-Lime combo but I assume it's just their lime and cactus together in one mix and since I have both, I'll just combine them :) The Limekta is the best lime. Definitely. FA Cold press and distilled are both good too but I find they tend to fade too quickly. If you're only going to get one lime, INW Lime Concentrate should be it. (I've got like 8 or 10 limes and that's always the one I reach for first)
Maybe try Lime Tahity Cold Pressed (CP) FA? I find it's really bright and strong... very sour.
Yep that's what I used in my latest batch of Lime Sparkle, I think it's as close as I'll get but it's still not right really.
So, what's this Lime Sparkle? Sounds interesting! Mind sharing the recipe?
It's a juice by Fair City Vapes (Scottish I think), and after 6 years the only one I can keep going back to and not get bored of. For me it's lime done right, most lime flavours taste like disinfectant or something, but this one is really well balanced with sweetness and depth to counter the strong citrus. Some combination of these ingredients adds a sort of sherbetty fizz to it too, which isn't really there without the original Lime. Here's my recipe, but as I say it won't be right without the e-aromat Limetka from Inawera. I will spend some time trying to figure it out a replacement though.

I assume chefsvapour buys their concentrates in bulk and rebottles them to save money, and the one with the green label is bottled by inawera directly. I have several flavours by CV and all of them share a similar label design.
The concentrate itself should however be the same.
I order from both ChefsFlavours and Inawera direct. I have Inawera Shisha Lime (untested), Inawera Limetka (my go to lime) and Flavorah Lime which is also great. If you are not happy with the Inawera maybe try Flavorah. Can't comment on the change status of Inawera as I am still on my original bottles of Inawera Lime.
