I'm coming out of the closet. (DIY)
submitted almost 9 years ago by doubledutch

Had some left over disassembled pallets from a project, and used it to keep all my shit in one place. Great for DIY. Thought I'd share. 1 year analog-free (after 30+ years of smoking) so a huge THANK YOU to the vape community!

Did I just count 15 mods? OP you know you can only use maybe 2 at a time right?

Usually have 3 or 4 setups with different flavors on my desk. I like to switch it up.

I don't have 15 mods (11), but I'm with you. At least 3 setups going for different flavors. Impressive organizational skills with the diy stuff.

I think my wife would think i was partially retarded then start ragging on me about wasting money if i had that many mods lol... i just bought another atomizer tonight and i seriously felt bad... and all i have is 2 mods, 2 atomizers, a RDA and the new one coming in...

Don't worry, you'll get past that guilt soon enough.

Awesome set-up. Wish I had an extra closet to do that with. My wife's close and shoes take up all our closets. Lol.

Welcome, fellow closet mixer. Your mod collection is making me a little jealous. ;)

You and OP are now in a closet DIY battle. It shall remain unspoken from here on out but we expect to see regular updates from both of you and eventually this should come to blood. You've been warned ;)

The final blow would be lining up 7 years worth of mods across the desk with 650 flavors in battle formation. Unfortunately (or thankfully) I tend to give my mods away more often than not and I prefer to leave the ridiculous flavor stash organized.

Hahaha I'm picturing all those flavors lined up like little soldiers in Rome Total War :P

Haha, ok I see, I thought you were implying the closet was hidden, like a r/secretcompartments

Technically, you are going into the closet :D

How's that pipe vape thingy? Looks neat. You also have the Therion which is on my bucket list so I now have a crush on you collection.

The pipe is a Kamry K1000 Plus with a Kanger subtank nano with a bamboo tip

Looks fun. Can you swap out the tank or nah? Would be nice to slap an RTA in there. And how does it vape?

1 points

by doubledutchalmost 9 years ago

Yes, you can swap it out. It came with a Kamry tank that I swapped for the Nano. Vapes fine, nothing spectacular but functions as expected.

I have a freestanding shelf with doors so the closet envy is strong. http://imgur.com/A4rAS6j

Nice collection! Pallets are very cheap to get. You could easily build multiple shelves in your space there. I would lower your current shelf, and add 4 new (half depth) above so you can see all your flavors. Vape-on.

Nice setup! I put all of mine on a table and really wish I had a mixing surface at standing height. I guess I could build some 2' blocks to set the table on... Just need to find someone steady enough to lift my flavor cabinet while I raise the table.

man, what the fuck is up with those comments on IMGUR? chock full of cancer. great job! I'm getting into woodworking/projects and my first is going to be shelving for my concentrates and vape bar. I want to be able to see each bottle without moving it, if possible, so it's nice to see someone else doing something similar. I just don't want it to look ridiculous and take up a whole wall, but it's a distinct possibility. If I could even make a box that would open up into something like that, that would work as well...

The Vape Nest. I wouldn't dare spending that much money on vape gear, but I want to!
