Setup: Velocity clone; dual twisted 28awg @ .55Ω; cotton wicks; 40 W
Testing: LA Lemonade @ 3%; Aged: 2 weeks
Flavor description: Sugary and tart, bright lemon, rather candy like. Relatively dry by itself. Somewhat reminiscent to Lemon Heads candy.
Off-flavors: none
Throat hit: 9/10 rather harsh by itself.
Uses: Use at a small percentage (<1%) to accent/brighten other fruits, or crank up the % to really push a lemon note in your mix. Also, if you're making /u/vurve 's legendary Best Damn Pink Lemonade, you're going to need this one.
Pairings: Your favorite fruits or creams. EM might be helpful to take away some of the harshness if you aren't using a cream. Koolada works well if you're into the "cold lemonade" sensation. Tea and Champagne flavors come to mind as well.
Notes: This concentrate is a bit weak at 3% and may require upping the percentage or pairing with another lemon flavoring to achieve a nice strong lemon taste in a mix. In comparison to FLV Lemonade, it is close, but I personally get a bit more of a "Country Time powdered mix" sensation from FLV's version.
God I love this flavor. For me, as a single flavor, it's the closest thing to actual lemonade. Pair it with a small percentage of FA Lemon Sicily and I think it is spot on.
Recent delicious as hell recipe:

Interesting.. I get zero harshness and no dryness. I'm liking it at 5-6%.
Does anybody get much more out of it going up to 7-10%?
I wonder if mixing some of just this with a small % of TFA Lemon and some sweetener would make a good plain Jane Lemonade mixer...
If you're looking for an easy, low amount of concentrate, Lemonade mixer without sweetner, I believe this Real Lemonade recipe may be helpful. Credit to /u/botboy141 for the recipe and /u/id10-t for posting it to ATF.
Who doesn't love a good origin story?
Once upon a time, that Real Lemonade recipe came from a discussion on this very concentrate you've reviewed. I didn't understand the great love for it. I like my lemonade made from fresh squeezed lemons and light on the sugar, not some powered mix. To me, LA Lemonade tasted like melted, watered down Lemonheads candy. Not real lemonade. I was still a fairly new mixer, but already aware that adding some FA Lemon Sicily could turn LA Lemonade into something much better. However, I was having trouble getting those two to do what I wanted them to do, which was combine with TFA VBIC to create something like this Frosted Lemonade. The results were atrocious. /u/botboy141 to the rescue! He recommended INW Lemon and INW Lemon Mix in a 3:1 ratio and I promptly purchased my very first INW flavors. After single-flavor testing, I tried botboy's ratio as percents, 3% and 1%, and BOOM! Perfect fresh squeezed lemonade. And it turned out that he was right about them possibly working with VBIC as well, and thus Frosted Lemonade was a success. And everyone vaped happily ever after.
Just got this with my last order. I've been trying to create a frosted lemonade using this from 3-5% but it's hard because like you said the flavor is pretty damn dry by itself. I tried adding some INW Lemon Mix at a low percentage (.25%) but it's still really dry. Do you think some cactus might help it out and make it shine? It's definitely a good lemonade flavor but it feels like I'm vaping the powder... Trying to find a good support flavor that will be my "water" to mix with it haha.
Thanks for the review.
I think /u/ID10-T just posted what you're looking for :)
INW Cactus would definitely work at 0.5-1%. Maybe look into a champagne flavor too, they seem to play well with lemonade. (I use TFA Champagne) It won't seem fizzy (at least to me it doesn't) but it will definitely brighten your mix without altering the flavor much.
