Flavor doesn't mix with VG

Hey guys!
I have a situation..

Allow me to explain it fully:
Me and a friend share VG and flavours since we have the same kind of taste and it eases the pocket because we can buy quantity and split in halve. So about a week ago I bought 100%VG base without nicotine.

We're at my place doing the juice and everything sounds nice, Both liquids mixed up and all.

Fast forward to today. My friend sends me that picture, and says the same is happening with the bigger 100 ml mix we did.

It makes me curious since it didn't happen to my mixes, which are blending well and steeping accordingly.

Am I missing something?

which flavors do you exactly use? As far as I know, this happens with oil-based flavors (and you should not vape them)

edit: k, just read your last sentence, that's weird then. Maybe something related to temperature.

I saw this once when I bought some blueberry candy in the wrong type of base. I can't remember what the actual base was, but if you buy flavors from wizard labs, they sell certain flavors with this base that refuses to mix with VG.

It's actually Inawera, TPA and Capella.. It's not usual..

Double periods aside, I know that TPA sells flavors in bases that do this. Might be worth double-checking with the vendor.

Super late but i believe you're thinking of Triacetin, there's a blueberry candy from TPA that's in that as the flavor carrier rather than PG

That's the weirdest thing ever.. You could try a hot water bath? Maybe? Lol idk, I've never seen that. Even just running the bottle under hot water for a little bit and shake it up real good. Is it vaping well?

So yeah, i was doing some research and found something that made me think of this post. Could've just been either a triacetin based flavor or had triacetin in it that caused this to happen. Again, super late but felt like letting you know :-)

I had this happen to a banana mix once. I tried hot water and everything. Nothing worked and it tasted like sh*t. Threw it out.

this happened to me on my 1st batch, my friend told me vg and flavor doesn't mix correctly if we just shake the bottle cmiiw. so i'm try use stirrer to mix and it fix the problem.

What specific flavorings are in the mix? I've got a recipe with inawera flavorings that will not mix in higher than 70/30. Have you made this recipe with other vg before?

Nope, first time. Cherry and Cola. 100% VG base..

Pretty sure both of those can be an issue. FA cola and FA black cherry make a good cherry coke and don't have trouble mixing with high VG

Double check with vendor site. May be oil based, might have too much alcohol?

No clue...but this shouldn't happen with standard concentrates.

My first test would be to heat it and shake the shit out of it.

I've never mixed with both VG and PG, only VG (PG based flavoring though) and never had a problem with the flavors mixing in. I'm thinking if the flavors aren't an oil base (which someone else mentioned those should never be vaped,) it could have something to do with you possibly getting a bad batch of VG?
