Recipe Notes

When I went to build this recipe I wanted simplicity with my ingredients. Not have any ingredients that just add one element, but have each ingredient be 100% necessary to the recipe. I started with Cherry as the base and went around from there.

The Rice Crispy Cereal this is the texture or the actual breading of the dish. It wraps around the Cherry nicely.

This along with the CAP French Vanilla V2 really fills out into a nice hard crunchy, but well baked and rich pastry base. The V2 is a muted flavoring in regards that it doesn't have that thick butteryness in the mid range. But in my midrange for this one is mostly the cereal base & a bit of the cherry in the upper midrange register. So the V2 is sort of important or else the V1 would just overpower the whole mix and mid range butter would clip and mute like crazy.

Then since we're using the V2 there is a certain amount of buttery-ness & sweet lost, so to make up for this, just add a bit of Sweet Cream to fill up the very top end since theres not much going on there except the Cherry, which needs dulled and muted a bit anyways. I don't want this to be a fruit dish. I want a bakery with a fruit in it. So the Sweet Cream does that job in that it covers up JUST the topend sweetness of the cherry with its own buttery sweet.

Since Sweet Cream doesn't really add many low or mid notes, theres not much more interactions going on there.

Summary/Sidenotes

To finish, the main idea is that I have a cherry, I wanted to cover it almost entirely in bakery, but just leave a bit of it for you to know....that's a damn cherry. Also Rice Crispy Cereal adds crunchy uneven texture which is perfect for a cobbler. I would love to see this recipe with Peach or Strawberry.

1.5 Week Steep time.

Unrelated/Recipe Formatting

I buy odd ingredients so I tried a new style of formatting recipes to better show the idea of the recipe and allow people to sub out/combine ingredients more easily.

Formatting man. That recipe is unreadable

Just give the percentage of conc used. If people dont have the flavours they can buy them or sub and adjust based on what they know about their conc.

Tuned a bit. Thanks.

Just make it like any other recipe that gets posted on here. There's nothing wrong with making a table or even the standard Flavor-Brand-Percentage bulleted list. This is just unnecessary garble

Threw up a standard listing in the comments to supplement the post for anyone wanting just the raw list.

The recipe itself and the specific brands and flavors used aren't that important to me, but just the theory of how they work together. So for my style of mixing I would prefer to keep the main post in its current form.

Instead of leaving a comment, I suggest editing your original post...

Just use the above formatting in place of what you have in your OP.

That's a good point, I'll put subs listings in the comments.
