Southern peach V1

I love me some peaches in real life, but most peach vapes have proven lack luster to me. So over the summer we made some tipsy peaches and I really loved it, so off I went to work on a recipe.

A lot of interpration came from /u/matthewkocanda and his drunken pears recipes as you can imagine. Technically this is like v4 or 5 but this is the first one I'm happy enough with to post as I keep working on it.

  • JF honey peach @1.5%
  • FA white peach @.75%
  • FA Liquid Amber @.5%
  • TFA Kentucky bourbon @2.25%
  • TFA Brown sugar @1.5%
  • TFA VBIC @2%
  • INW Shisha vanilla @1%
  • FLV Cinnamon crunch @1.5
  • TFA Graham clear @2%
  • FA Cookie @.75%

The peaches

I had been messing with different combo's of peaches and I never quite got it tasting just right, looking for a heavy sweet cooked peach. Everything came out to light and bright or to candy, but as soon as I got JF Honey peach I knew I wanted to use it here. Adding a little bit of FA white peach boosts it up so you still get some of the lighter peach notes past the heavy flavors coming it.

The sauce

/u/matthewkocanda got it right with TFA KB in his drunken pears, I tried going lower and higher with it but this amount turned out just right so you get the alcohol bite and warmth but no real off flavors from it, the Liquid amber helps to give the flavor of pouched fruit and with the TFA KB can slightly enhance the boozy aspect, then finally the TFA brown sugar helps give a dark, sweetness to the mix which plays well with the booze.

2% TFA vbic gives a heavy mouth feel to the sauce without imparting much dairy, but I wanted a bit more vanilla from it still avoiding excess dairy, so 1% INW Shisha van worked perfectly hear. I'd really love to use holy vanilla, but I don't have it so I'm sure that would sub perfectly here.

The topping

We made a cinnamon oat "crumble" type topping for ours, so that's what I was looking for. Knowing I wanted grain and cinnamon the first thing I grabbed was FLV cinnamon crunch, @1.5% it gives just enough cinnamon spice to the mix without being a cinnamon vape, the TFA graham clear and FA cookie to give a bit more crisp and "bite" to the topping, the TFA Brown sugar also works with these to give them a "cooked" flavors

Steep very tasty after an over night but comes together better after 1 week.

ATF Link

Like I said, this is still a WIP for me, but something that will be a bit more of a back burner for now since I'm thourghly enjoying this mix. In fact my first batch of it I took with me to some friends house and between them and my girlfriend they killed a 30ml in a day before I had a chance to really evaluated it much, they loved it. Huge thanks to /u/matthewkocanda on his work and notes on the drunken pears recipe, it was invaluable to me.

That looks darn tasty. I was feeling the craving for a nice peach, recently, too. Looks like I need to put in an order for the FLV Cinnamon Crunch and INA Shisha Vanilla soon. Thanks for sharing this!

Keep in mind I went through many variations some of which got dumped out. I've been working on this since July.

Not much for alcohol flavors, but I plan to make a virgin version of this! Cinnamon and peaches sound dank af together, cinnamon crunch is an all time fave.

I love cinnamon and peach in real life so I'm glad I was able to translate it to vape. Cinnamon crunch is such a great flavor too! I like it way more than CAP or TFA CDS. It's not the same thing per say, but you can use it similarly I'm finding.
