Good afternoon, earthlings.
Today I'm bringing you the next installment in my "Drunken" recipe series. As you know, Drunken Pears is one of my best recipes to date, and is the inspiration to continue with this series of alcoholic dessert type mixes.
Drunken Cookies is my newest idea, a warm sugar cookie with a strawberry margarita frosting. This mix is very early in it's development, as these Drunken recipes are definitely my most intricate ones, and I spend a lot of time getting them right. Drunken Pears took nearly 2 months to get to where it is today, but this one is coming along nicely on a first attempt. As always, recipe and flavour notes below.

- TFA Strawberry Ripe at 5.5%
- JF Sweet Strawberry at 2.5%
- FW Hazelnut at 1%
- CAP Sugar Cookie at 3%
- JF Biscuit at 1.25%
- CAP Vanilla Cupcake at 1.25%
- FA Lime Tahiti Cold Press at 1.75%
- FA White Wine at 1%
- TFA Cotton Candy at 0.75%
Flavour Notes
TFA Strawberry Ripe / JF Sweet Strawberry - you already know, but this combination is incredible. The TFA Strawberry Ripe brings the more authentic notes of strawberry, while the JF Sweet Strawberry brings the candy sweetness. At these percentages, neither will overpower the other. These two help balance out some of the weirdness that the FA White Wine and FA Lime Tahiti CP inherently bring to any mix.
FW Hazelnut - as I've said in my Lazy Saturday recipe notes, this flavour is my go to for strawberry recipes now. While TFA Dragonfruit complements any strawberry in a strictly fruit mix, FW Hazelnut is the fucking go-to for anything else that calls for strawberry. Especially in these bakery/dessert type vapes, hazelnut brings a darkness to the strawberries and almost tricks you into thinking you have macerated strawberries, simply because it adds a dark sweetness. Finally, the hazelnut adds more complexity and nutty sweetness to the CAP Sugar Cookie. Simple.
CAP Sugar Cookie / JF Biscuit - we all know how hard I hype CAP SC, as it somehow finds it's way into almost every recipe I post. But there's a reason. This shit is bangin. Easily my favourite concentrate to date. It's sweet, fluffy, and has the best cookie flavour I've found. Adding JF Biscuit to it helps give some depth to it, so instead of just getting a fairly one dimensional, soft baked sugar cookie, you get more buttery notes and a little bit of baked crunch.
FA Lime Tahiti Cold Press / FA White Wine - here's the margarita. Honestly, I had been fucking around with creating a margarita flavour base for a while. I had tried being overly complex with it, adding lemons and limes and sweeteners and different alcohol flavours, but nothing worked. Then I realized, it's as simple as just using FA Lime Tahiti CP. That shit is nearly spot to a marg as a standalone. Adding the FA White Wine at 1% just brings that alcohol bite and a little dryness that you need to create a convincing alcohol vape. The touch of TFA Cotton Candy helps cut into the harshness that comes with both of these flavours, while adding a little more sweetness to the lime. Up the Lime Tahiti CP to 2 - 2.5% and add a little mango or passionfruit if you're looking a straight up margarita vape. But in this recipe, I was looking for just a hint of that. Just enough to make it known, and the fact that it comes out to play most in the exhale, I think it's perfect at these percentages.
CAP Vanilla Cupcake / TFA Cotton Candy - here's the sweeteners and the frosting flavours that the strawberry and margarita notes are binding to. Simple as that. The CAP VC on it's own is a straight up frosting flavour with a touch of vanilla. Like when you get those store bought sugar cookies that have a massive amount of frosting on them. It tastes JUST like that. The Cotton Candy is here simply to cut some of the harshness from the margarita notes. You don't need sweeteners in here to give the sugary feel, as the entire recipe on it's own is sweet as fuck.
What To Expect - so this mix is interesting in that it's very separated in terms of the experience. On the inhale, the strawberries are most noticeable with just a hint of the alcohol "burn." Immediately after that, you get that warm sugar cookie and frosting sweetness. Finally, the exhale, that's where all those margarita notes come out to play.
Alright, so, as everyone knows, when I put "v1" in front of a recipe, it usually means you'll see 8 fucking iterations of it before I actually think it's done. However, I can safely say that this recipe is good as fuck already. The only changes I'll be making will be trying to boost that margarita flavour to have a bit more of a noticeable "alcohol" note.

Your the first person I've seen who has used JF biscuit. Does it bring anything to the table INW wouldn't? Recipe looks great though, thanks. Adding the flavors I'm missing to my "shit to get" document.
JF Biscuit is the INW Biscuit killer in my opinion. After testing JF, I realized that I can't stand the subtle flavours that INW brings. There's a weird bitterness, a little harshness, and just something off that I always pick up on in every mix. JF Biscuit, however, is perfect. It's buttery as fuck, rather sweet, hints of vanilla in it. And the mouthfeel is more crunchy instead of dry. INW always felt dry to me, but JF is just crunchy.

I only have 3 of those ingredients in my arsenal. You would think having just over 100, I could do better than that. Fuck it though, looks awesome. Take my +1.
I tried making a Straw-Ber-Rita juice or whatever Bud Light Lime's strawberry concoction is, but the strawberry part never really shined like I wanted it to. I'll definitely take note of FW Hazelnut and JF Sweet Strawberry, as strawberry flavorings have become super bland and boring to me as of late.
