So when I get new flavors in I like to test them stand alone as well as see how they work in a mix.. (if they are overpowering or play nicely with others) Here I mixed some of my favs with some newer flavors and happy with the outcome..A very creamy, buttery, vanilla cake.
Hangsen French Vanilla Ice Cream 3%
Hangsen Italian Cream .5%
Cap NY Cheesecake 2%
Cap Van Custard 1.5%
Jungle Flavors Biscuit 1%
DIYFS Holy Vanilla 1.5%
FLV Poundcake 3%
Hs fvic/hs italian cream
These are the new flavors I wanted to throw into a mix. Ive heard alot of talk about these 2 flavors together and had to try them. NCM had commented thats these 2 together are great. Thank you /u/notcharlesmanson.
Cap NY cheesecake/ Cap Vanilla custard
these 2 are far from new but staples in my arsenal. Cheesecake adds to the creaminess and gives a malted note for me. As Cap van cust speaks for itself and i feel just gives something nice that the other flavors can stick to.
JF Biscuit/ FLV Poundcake
Flv poundcake is a nice light fluffy cake and the biscuit just adds to that buttery element it lacks on its own.
DIYFS Holy vanilla
Because if you want vanilla this is what you use.
Give this a mix let me know some feedback i will definetly be experimenting with this with my fav strawberry combo Shisha straw and JF sweet strawberry. Cant imagine it would taste bad.
Thanks for clearing about holy vanilla and its substitute flavor
Nothing can sub out holy vanilla; sugar cookie doesn't come close.
Thanks for the recipe. I've gotta speak my peace about DIYFS' Holy Vanilla: I don't actually get any "vanilla" from it. There's a big wank about it being the vanilla and all that, but there is just no actual vanilla coming from it. It is more akin to Cream Cheese Icing FW or Sugar Cookie Cap. But there is no vanilla. I have a large bottle of Holy Vanilla sitting pretty much untouched. I jumped on the hype train and was disappointed.
Edit: for those who don't have Holy Vanilla, I reckon using the same amount of Sugar Cookie Cap will get you in the same general vicinity.
Sorry you feel that way, mate, but I'd gladly take that very large bottle off your hands because there indeed is vanilla in it; my favourite vanilla - smells better than kirkland signature vanilla extract.
Sugar cookie comes nowhere close, imo.
Hm, I get no vanilla whatsoever. And by stating it smells even MORE vanilla-y than an actual vanilla extract is saying a lot about its vanilla qualities, of which, again, I get none. DIYFS' French Vanilla and Holy Vanilla are pretty much exactly the same, maybe Holy Vanilla has some caramel coloring added.
I have to disagree as well.. Holy vanilla actually works really well WITH Cap sugar cookie. But I definitely get a nice vanilla from it. It is my go to for vanilla with INW Shisha Vanilla coming in a close second to it.
Shisha Vanilla has that same "cream but not vanilla". Take a whiff of French Vanilla Cap or Vanilla Custard v1 Cap... that's vanilla. Holy Vanilla is like a cream, just no vanilla in there.
Same. I've yet to find something that tastes (what I perceive to be) like actual vanilla or even vanilla extract as it were. Much like how I wish CAP Sugar Cookie actually tasted like a sugar cookie :/
I've tried several "pure" vanillas, FA's Bourbon, Tahity, INW's Vanilla, Cap's Simply Vanilla... sure, they SMELL good, but one can barely taste them in a vape, even at higher percentages. Holy Vanilla doesn't even smell like vanilla.
Sugar Cookie Cap reminds me more of a cake than anything...
