I'm trying to clone a local house juice. The description is menthol, peppermint, and bold tobacco. I'm curious if anyone knows what tobacco flavors were in 2013 when the shop opened. Since it's a house juice I'm going to assume that it is either TFA or capella. But I can't remember if capella had tobacco flavors that far back.
just about every 555 was in existence
I have tfa 555 for your clone so I know it's not that. But that's the only one.
Well, Tobacco Absolute was out too, but it's now discontinued. Also I never used that, I used DK base
Just to toss in another possibility which may or may not be applicable based on who was doing the mixing: It could have been something like a pre-made Dekang "touched up" with menthol and peppermint.
First thing that comes to mind would be CAP Bold Tobacco. But don't know when it was available, sorry.
Is the store still in business? If the flavor is discontinued you might try emailing them. Explain you were a loyal customer since day one and dying for that nostalgic peppermint tobaccy. It's a long shot but if you finesse them could work.
I've thought about flat out asking if I could buy the recipe. Doubt they ever would but I wouldn't even know where to start price wise.
Something to keep in mind, there's a possibility they could be obtaining their flavorings from a B2B company, not a consumer sale type.
Its safe to assume most B&M's don't go this far as the time investment per return isn't worth their time, simply something to consider.
