Got a bunch of flavors but not sure how to make them work together? Post your list here, and our team of semi-professional mixologists will make suggestions for you! If you are impatient and want to do this on your own, here are a couple of good links:
- /u/daath has a nice website that has this functionality, but you will need to register to make it work. It is not very intuitive but if you work with it you can input your flavors and get a list of recipes that you can make. IMO this is the better site if you have the patience to make it work for you. Edit2: to get this to work, first set up an account. Then add your flavors to the stash (under my page / my flavor stash). hit save. Then go back to the front page and click the link next to the search field, "Search by flavor stash". You can select a couple of your flavors and recipes that have those will pop up.
- This site has a nice big search button with just what you're looking for.
Happy Mixing!
Hello,
I currently have the following flavours (just started out). I would like a few recipes for a very soft (no/very little throathit) vape if possible :).
- TPA Cotton Candy
- TPA Key Lime
- TPA Orange Cream
- TPA Bavarian Cream
- TPA Raspberry Sweet
- TPA Rainbow Sherbet
- Revolute - Ethyl Maltol
Already had a recommendation from user /u/leapinglabrats which was: > 3-4% Raspberry Sweet, maybe with some Orange Cream
Thanks!
/u/leapinglabrats' suggestion sounds like a great one. I would go with 4% Raspberry Sweet and 1% Orange Cream to be exact, and let that mix steep for 10 days. You could also try 4% TFA Bavarian Cream, 3% Raspberry Sweet, and 1% Orange Cream together, again steep for 10 days.
Thanks, will try both :D Will need to get me some labels though, getting too many steeping bottles...
Challenge
- FA Almond
- Ethyl Maltol
- FA Violet
- INW Dirty Neutral Base
- CAP Simply Vanilla
- TFA Koolada
- INW Cactus
You have a much larger collection of flavors than just these, correct? Are you trying to get someone to suggest something using only these flavors?
Correct on both counts. You guys are magic. I can make some good recipes, but I'm still very basic in my approaches. I'm still waiting to post my recipes before I feel my skills are a little more fine tuned.
I would love to see what you very experienced mixers can do with a very odd assortment. Could give me inspiration, could give you inspiration, could give anyone inspiration.

This list is a bit difficult to sort out, can you go back and make sure all of the ones from The Flavor Apprentice have a "T" in front of the FA and all of the ones from Flavour Art do not?
I think I fixed it.
I'm guessing from your list of flavors you've already tried NCM's Pebbles? What did you think of it (might help in suggesting something else)?
I like fruits mostly. For some reason most creams/desserts don't sit well with me, maybe I binged on cheesecake graham crust too much a while back.
Pretty much all peach flavors kill my throat, it'd be great if there's a way to tone that down. I'd also love a pure strawberry recipe, not strawberries and cream. Something with blueberry would be nice too.
Oh and I'm looking for flavor recommendations too...

Have you already tried Fizzmustard's Nana Cream Cone? 5% LA Banana Cream Colorless, 3% TFA Dragonfruit, 7% TFA Strawberry
If all you want is fruits but you still want a full, satisfying vape, that INW Cactus is going to be your new best friend.
Try mixing it at 0.75% with 2.5% FA Fuji and (I'm assuming that's TFA) 0.5% Pineapple.
Try mixing it at 2% with 1% each FA Lemon Sicily, FA Lime Cold Pressed, and CAP Sweet Tangerine.
Try mixing it at 0.5% with 2% TFA Pear and 1% TFA Dragonfruit.
Try mixing it a 0.5% with 1% FA Fuji, 3.5% TFA Strawberry Ripe, and 4% TFA Watermelon
Try mixing it at 1.25% with 3% LA Banana Cream Colorless and 1.5% TFA Banana Cream
Try mixing it at 0.5% with 4% each TFA Strawberry Ripe and Strawberry and 1% TFA Dragonfruit.
And try mixing it at 1% with 3% LA Banana Cream Colorless, 1.5% TFA Banana Cream, 1% TFA Orange Cream, and 0.5% Pineapple and let that steep for two weeks.
Good stuff right here. Try also:
0.25% TFA Blackberry
0.75% INW Cactus
2% FA Fuji
1.5% TFA Toasted Marshmallow
/u/AddictedToSpuds see above.
/u/Philosaphucker try this: 3% TFA Kentucky Bourbon, 2% TFA Toasted Marshmallow, 0.5% TFA Blackerry, 0.5ish% X where X = whatever you want it to be. For me it's sometimes a vanilla, sometimes brown sugar... For you probably another dark berry.

Looking for a real good eggnog flavor & some cereal type ADVs. But am open to almost anything !
Try this: 7% TFA Dragonfruit, 2% TFA Strawberry Ripe, 3% TFA Bavarian Cream, 1% TFA Vanilla Custard. You did say almost anything.
You might also like 6% Strawberry Ripe, 3% Bavarian Cream, 1% TFA Dragonfruit, 1% Vanilla Custard. Same four ingredients, completely different recipe.
These actually sound like they're right up my alley ! I'll whip up a 15ml of each tonight. Any other suggestions are welcome ! Thanks much !
You're welcome! Let them both steep for a week. If either of them seem to be lacking something with you try them, you could make new batches with 1% Marshmallow added to either of them or a little (1 to 2%) Cheesecake Graham Crust added to the second one.
The only cereal vapes I've enjoyed have a ton of ingredients that you don't have. If you want a simple cereal vape that tastes good, people seem to very much prefer FW's cereal-type flavors over TFA's.
I bought CAP Cucumber on a whim to get free delivery on chefs and I have no idea what to do with it. This is my flavour stash.
Any suggestions?
I got a few flavors, that i need to make the recipes i already know, comming in the mail soon. While i wait i thought you guys might have some ideas for something i might be able to mix with my "leftovers"

Already tried:
- Nana cream
- Peach (Juicy) + Dragonfruit
- Lemon + Lemox mix
Which %'s did you use on the Lemon + Lemon Mix and the Peach + Dragonfruit and what did you think of them? How did you like Nana Cream?
Try one of these if any of them look good to you:
7% Dragonfruit + 2% Strawberry Ripe + 4% Banana Cream (Dragonfruit doesn't always have to be used in a small amout)
6% Strawberry Ripe + 1% Dragonfruit (Provides an example of the effect of Dragonfruit on strawberry)
6% Pear + 3% Peach + 2% Cactus (something like a cactus fruit)
4% Pear + 1% Fuji + 0.5% Cactus (a juicy, sweet pear)
3% Pear + 1% Dragonfruit + 0.5% INW Cactus (another juicy pear)
3% Fuji + 1% Pear + 0.5% Cactus (a juicy apple)
1% Lemon + 0.25% Lemon Mix + 2% Cactus (like a cactus cooler)
5% TFA Strawberry Ripe + 1.5% FA Fuji + 0.5% Cactus (juicy strapple)
5% Banana Cream + 1% Cactus + 1% Dragonfruit (cactus and dragonfruit really make banana shine)
It was a recipe i got from this subreddit:
- Lemon 3%
- Lemon mix 1%
Mixed it in max vg, so it took a while for the flavors to come out. Good recipe, but not an all day vape for me.
I tried Peach + dragon fruit at a pretty high percentage, think it was 7% each.
Nana cream was okay, nothing amazing, and since the one time i mixed it, i haven't mixed it since. I recall thinking it was too much of a candy banana.
Thanks a lot for the suggestions, i'm definitely going to try mixing one or two of these right away.
That's a pretty solid lemonade recipe ;), but if it's just too much plain lemon to be an ADV for you and your new flavors coming in include some creams, I recommend using those two lemon flavors in the same ratio but in lower amounts and mixing them with something creamy.
7% Juicy Peach is a lot of Juicy Peach. The pairing of those two flavors should be a good one with significantly less of both. Especially if you have something creamy to add to them as well.
If you thought Nana Cream was two much candy banana, you should probably ignore all of my previous suggestions that have banana cream in them.
Got some
TFA Toasted Almond
TFA Caramel
CAP Marshmallow
TFA Graham Cracker Clear
What kind of recipes can I make with these?
Do you have other things to mix them with, or is that it?
I also got
TFA Strawberry Ripe
TFA Bavarian Cream
TFA Vanilla Swirl
TFA Cheesecake (Graham Crust)
But I want to make a caramel and toasted almond juice. Need 2 recipes.
Ok, I can work with that.
Try Toasted Caramel Almond Milk: 3% TFA Caramel, 2% Toasted Almond, 2% Cheesecake Graham Crust, 4% Vanilla Swirl, 3% Bavarian Cream
And
Caramel Almond Cracker: 3% TFA Caramel, 2% Toasted Almond, 5% Graham Cracker Clear, 2% CAP Marshmallow, 2% Bavarian Cream
I've got:
-
FA Meringue
-
FA Raspberry
-
FA Arctic Winter (Menthol)

TFA Vanilla Cupcake

looking for a fruity/juicy mix. if needed I can purchase other flavours for the mix.
Since you're willing to purchase other flavors for the mix, I suggest looking at these links and finding something that appeals to to you:
Got lots of mustard milk, bombies Nana cream, and mustard tiger steeping, but can't think/find anything else that appeals :- TPA Apricot CAP Creamy Yogurt TPA Dragonfruit TPA Dx Marshmallow TPA DX Peach Juicy TPA French Vanilla Deluxe TPA Fresh Cream TPA Honeydew II TPA Kentucky Bourbon TPA Koolada 10% TPA Maple Syrup TPA Pear TPA Piña colada TPA Red Oak TPA Strawberry Ripe TPA Strawberry TPA Vanilla Bean Ice cream TPA Vienna Cream TPA Watermelon TPA Watermelon Candy TPA Banana Cream
Try this: 7% Dragonfruit, 3% Strawberry Ripe, 3% Vanilla Deluxe
Or this: 6% TFA Pear, 4% TFA Honeydew II, 3% Strawberry
Or this: 6% Pear, 4% Honeydew II, 3% Juicy Peach
Or this: 6% Juicy Peach, 4% Pina Colada, 4% Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
Or this: 3% Kentucky Bourbon, 5% Banana Cream, 4% Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
Or this: 2% TFA Apricot, 4% Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, 1% Dragonfruit
Gonna mix these all when I leave work. Glad to see the bourbon idea, I had tried a mix with maple and a tiny amount of red oak that failed.
Capella Vanilla Custard V.2 Aroma Concentrate - 13ml Capella Double Watermelon Aroma Concentrate - 13ml Capella Funnel Cake Aroma Concentrate - 13ml Capella Apple Pie V2 Aroma Concentrate - 13ml Capella Banana Split Aroma Concentrate - 13ml Catalan Cream Aroma by FlavourArt 10ml
These are the aromas I've bought yesterday but I really have no clue how to mix some good flavors. Those are all kind of tastes I would like anyways but do you guys have some black magic to tune that a bit further :)?
Thanks for your help guys!
Try these ingredients as single-flavor mixes first, which will help you decide which ones you want to mix together.
Mix CAP Vanilla Custard V2 at 5% and let it steep for 4 weeks.
Mix CAP Double Watermelon at 5%.
Mix CAP Funnel Cake at 4%.
Mix CAP Apple Pie V2 at 5%.
Mix CAP Banana Split at 4%.
Mix FA Catalan Cream at 2.5%.
If you're just dying to mix some flavors together, 5% CAP Apple Pie and 1% Catalan Cream might make a good mix, but for the most part these flavors don't really seem to go together. Instead of just ordering some flavors that sound good, try finding some recipes that appeal to you and getting the aromas you need to follow them.
Hey mate, another question if you don't mind. Do i have to let all the other aromas steep for so long as well? or is it just Vanilla Custard?
It's definitely Vanilla Custard. You can probably vape the Watermelon right away. I'm not sure about the other ones; your best bet is to try them and if you don't like them very much, let them steep longer (1 week, 2 weeks, 4 weeks) and then try them again. But I wouldn't even bother trying the Vanilla Custard until it has steeped for a month.
Got another stupid question mate. When you say 'mix it with 5 %..', does it mean something like this: 95ml base, 5ml aroma or 100ml base + 5ml aroma? Got kinda confused right now
I'm still in pursuit of my ADV. I'm big fan of savory, creamy, sweeter vapes. I like my fruits to blend in and not be the "star".
I have another order I'm planning to make so if there is the 1 or 2 ingredients missing in any suggestion you may have I"m not opposed to dumping it in my cart.

Thank you! Is 70VG/30PG ok? Any steeping needed?
70/30 is what I always vape. I'm going to go with both yes and no on the steeping. All of these contain flavors that will improve with a steep. None of them contain flavors that require steeping to even taste good. You might try mixing them up, tasting them, and if you don't like them so much that you want to vape them all up right away, put them up for a week, then try again. Still not in love? Put them up for another week and then try again. With these flavors I don't think you'll see much improvement, if any, after two weeks.

So far i've vaped alot of Mustard Milk (with a bit of sweet strawberry)
Jasons White Coconut Cake (I love this stuff, im actually looking for a Coconut Cream recipe or something that tastes like these if anyone knows them
Apple Buttah by DIYorDIE (it tastes like Apfel Strudel) but only occansionally.
However, right now i'm looking for a dense fruity vape, full in taste. I don't like Vienna Cream for some reason.
If you have any suggestions on what i could order, please suggest away u/ID10-T suggested INW Cactus, I'll order that for sure
EDIT: Basically the whole post, it was formatted poorly and i didnt describe my tastes very welll.
Yep, Formatting looks terrific now. Repost this in the new "Suggest a Recipe" thread tomorrow for more visibility (I think a lot of people respond to this thing only on Fridays and forget about it the rest of the week).
Not gonna help with your dense fruity vape without cream, but for those coconut balls I think you're already there ingredient-wise CAP Sugar Cookie (that little wafer around 1.5%), FA Almond (the only almond you need at 2 to 3%), and FA Coconut (those coconut flakes at 2% or so). You just need something to get that sweet milk cream around the almond, which you might be able to pull off with CAP Butter Cream and maybe some FA Cream Fresh or TFA Bavarian or CAP Sweet Cream (would require some experimenting to see which one works best with the other ingredients to make CAP Butter Cream more milky). Another possible addition that you don't have: TFA Coconut Candy, which tastes like the inside of a Mounds bar and could pull double duty to boost the coconut note and the inner cream.
This: Mother Of Dragons' Milk; it's fruity and only very lightly creamy. 7% Dragonfruit, 2% each Strawberry Ripe, Bavarian Cream, Vanilla Swirl.
What kinds of fruits are you most interested in?
Thanks, I tried that already, but I didn't like it at all, I have many more flavors, so I guess I'll edit them in as soon as I'm home.
EDIT: I'd like a fruit mix without berry's, something dense, full and not too sweet
Holy shit I just realised that my formatting is abysmal.
EDIT2: added kiwi, cookie and biscuit
It sounds like our palates are very different so I might not be the best person to suggest something for you, hopefully someone will come along whose tastes are more aligned with yours.
But based on your description of wanting something dense, full, fruit, not too creamy, and not too sweet, it sounds like INW Cactus would be great addition to your collection because it will give you that density and fullness without cream.
There will be a new "Suggest a Recipe" tomorrow. Post again then with all your flavors, better formatting, and maybe some description of what you've tired and did like and tried and didn't like, as well as what you're looking for. Someone one will help you; If I don't think I can figure out something that you'd probably like I'll page someone who can.
