I'm giving these RF Raw Extracts 2 thumbs up. This mix tastes amazing. I blindly mixed this, as these flavors were untested, but this came out beautifully.
The Rhubarb is a little light as I was hoping for it to be the lead note, but the overall this mix came out very tasty. This Strawberry might be the best I've tasted.
I'll probably knock down the Condensed Milk to .5% because I think it might be masking some of the fruit flavor.
All in all I'm very happy with how this came out.
I steeped this for 5 weeks. I very seldom test a mix under a month's steep.

how's the condensed milk? does it taste like actual condensed milk, or is it kinda like fake popcorn butter? I'm working on a macaroon recipe and need a good condensed milk, and people seem to have an aversion to FA's version. I also just got my first big order from real flavors so I'll have to give this one a try when I order the ones I'm missing. These also seem like really low percentages for VG based flavorings- is the flavor still coming across well and distinct here?

These aren't the VG based flavors. These are from the Raw Extracts line. As for the Condensed Milk, The jury is still out on it. At .75% it seems a bit strong. I'm doing a second batch with a lower % and I'll make my determination then. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Ah, I had no idea they had another line that wasn't VG based. I totally would've went for these instead if I had known. 15mls of VG based flavorings won't get me very far. No worries! thanks for letting me know, and you should share your experience with them once you do

They're alcohol based... I'm guessing it's the same as the VG line but they just don't add the VG. Lol. I'm intrigued as I found the VG line to be too weak/too long of a steep time.

I'm addicted to the condensed milk. Very realistic flavoring. I have quite a few reviews under the flavor reviews wiki.

Have you ever tried FA's version, if so, how does it compare? I'll have to pick it up! I know- you're pretty prolific :) great reads

I haven't tried it. The horror stories turned me away. Was told by multiple people it's hard to work with and not over power, and that it wasn't very authentic flavored. I'm sorry, maybe someone else has tried the FA that can jump in here?

I haven't tried the RF Condensed, but the FA can be rather nice in the right applications. It just needs to be diluted at 10% and used in the sub 1% range to make its strength manageable.

I picked up a handful of the extracts a few weeks back and so far I've been a big fan. The baked bread is super interested but I've almost got a donut base that I feel is perfect and it was a key.

The pumpkin pie is also really good, but needed a couple weeks steeping to come out. Good start to a pumpkin pie for sure.
