Found the key to the perfect peach gummy/rings flavour
submitted almost 9 years ago by Dwhoneil

Ok so after trying to make pro_vapes exotic peach yogurt v2, but subbing peach flv for peach gummy flv, i had a flavour that was so nearly spot on peach rings! Tasted exactly like those tasty, sour, american peach gummy candies i tried as a kid. Problem was, the pink guava in the recipe added another dimension to the recipe that made it taste kind of sickly and off-putting. But the essential peach gummy flavour was definitely there.

Problem is, without the pink guava i have never gotten the same taste. Iv tried 1:3 and 2:3 and 3:3 rations of peach gummy to inw peach, and nothing is quite right. Although peach gummy at 2% and peach inw at 3% was pretty damn close.

Anyways just wanted to let people know, if youre looking for a peach gummy flavour that is 100% accurate and didnt get that from peach gummy FLV as a standalone, the key is adding peach inw. I just havnt found the right ratios yet, or the right complimentary flavours.

This is more a PSA than anything else but i thought id share it anyways, so a better mixer than myself can try making a perfect peach rings recipe. Also peach gummy at 2% and inw peach at 3% is the tastiest peach flavour iv had so far, and iv tried quite a few.

INW Peach = Yellow Peach.
FLV Peach = Somewhere in between a nectarine & a peach.

FA White Peach = somewhere in between a white peach and peach rings, but definitely remniscent of peach rings.

Haven't tried FLV peach gummy yet but have heard good things. It should taste like spot on peach rings by itself from what I've been told. I would play more with FA White Peach than INW Peach if I were you.

INW Peach tastes like a good start to gummy peach rings to me when used at a higher-than-normal percent. There's quite a difference between 1.5% INW Peach and 3% INW Peach.

I tried peach gummy at 4%, and it was close, but something was definitely missing. You could taste peach gummy, but it wasnt spot on, there was something missing. Adding inw peach there was no question, i was tasting the peach gummies from my childhood, but as a standalone, i would only know it was peach candy if someone told me beforehand.

Was sweetener added maybe the key.TPA Sweetener has changed my game even at a drop in 10mls it adds great sweetness. Flavors I didnt like I do with some of that. No coil gunking either usually stick with a drop or 2 if I really needing some sweetness by 10mls.

Starting with FA peach/white peach as a base is probably a decent start to a good peach ring, maybe a touch of apricot or something along those lines? I have a feeling this is going to result in another half dozen flavors sitting around to test out.....and i just bought some.

Maybe something like

Ingredient|% :---|---: Apricot (FA)|3 Peach (FA)|4 White Peach (FA)|3 Peach Gummy (FLV)|2

Might be a touch strong (though I do admit a lot of my experiments start off strong) on the peach flavoring, maybe 0.5% of the guava (or maybe Guava from FA instead?) to add something else to it? I dont think adding sweet/sour to it would do it a huge justice, honestly I threw what remained of my sweetener out after mixing with it recently, though the Peach Gummy may add enough sour to it, hard to say how it will turn out without mixing it up. White peach can have a bit of harshness to it, 3% for some might be a maximum, ive seen other people mix it at 5%, play with it, find what works for you.

I should try that with a bit of fa sour wizard. I loved those candies as a kid.

If I'm making a peach I always add Capella Sweet Mango and TPA Apricot at about 1% each. Gives that nice nectar flavor.

Peach always tears my throat up, do any of these flavorings not do that or is that just the nature of peach flavorings?

FA white peach tears up my throat at 2% or higher, FA peach is more mellow, a back note flavor, I can use that one at 3%+ and it doesn't bother my throat.

TFA Juicy peach is notorious for being harsh. Maybe try FA peach and FA white peach. If you want an even smoother vape, add FA Freah cream at .5 - 1% for a milky backnote.
