Colorblind friendly nicotine test?

I'm colorblind and got into diy a few weeks ago. I noticed the nicotine tests are based on colors. I just never bothered to test it, but it's starting to bug me. I have a liter of nicotine and have no idea what its real nicotine content is.

Are there colorblind friendly tests, or should I just have a friend come over when I plan to test it?

Fellow colourblind person.

This is a fairly expensive solution, but let me tell you, it works.

I tried to use some other solutions, but this has worked the best so far.

I'm in Canada and I use NiKiTest.

It's a great little kit, but telling when the blue turns to green and when the green hits yellow can be fairly difficult for me (and probably would be for you as well)...

So here's what I do:

Set everything up
Make sure you have a white cup/mug
Make sure you also have a good light source
Follow the instructions carefully and mix up until the colour confuses you

Here is the expensive part:

Get a wife who isn't colourblind

Haha, sorry, this is my only solution to this problem...if you can't afford a wife, maybe a friend/relative interested in chemistry will work...

I'm actually on the road to getting married. I figured that'd be my best bet, but I try not to mix around her and the kiddo.

Mine is on the way to a kiddo, so I mix in the basement and only have her come down to peek at the colour when testing.

Works for us, but you might have to give the kid a fork or whatever kids like to play with while she helps (I should probably learn what kids play with, shouldn't I?)

That's probably what I'll do since I know now that a colorblind friendly nic test doesn't exist anywhere.

Mines only 7 months and loves tv remotes. He'll hold it and stare at it for hours. I don't know if that's a normal thing, or if my son's just weird.

I know it may be a retarded workaround, but try to photograph it and compare the colors in photoshop or GIMP.

I'll probably be doing that or something similar, if I have to. I've searched quite a bit with no luck. Just hoping there's another way around it that I haven't stumbled across, yet. Haha

Getting the lighting conditions would be rough and hard to setup unless he had the help of someone who could see color. I guess he could set everything up the first time around. Don't compare based on sight though, use a color picker and check the values.

To what extend are you colourblind, I'm sorry, I'm only slightly colour blind so I wouldn't understand from your point of view.

Might I suggest googling the colours that the test would change as and use them as reference points, even if you only notice shades darker or lighter, maybe that would help?

Again, I'm sorry I don't see through your eyes so my response may be invalid.

Moderate red/green. Everything after blue is basically the same color.

Possible workaround: Search for our telegram chat. Take a photo of test results and key, ask someone to look for you.

Sorry, doesn't address your question, but might be a good quick fix.

You can get an app on your phone that tells you the name of colors in an image. I don't know any specific ones, just did a quick google search.
