There has been a lot of talk about Vapewild's new DIY supplies and I wanted to share some incite. I still get emails all the time from them because I used to buy there juice before I was mixing. It really peaked my interest the day that I got an email from them saying that they are now selling DIY supplies, so I had to check it out! When I was looking at their nicotine, I did not see in the description which base their nicotine was in, whether that is VG or PG. So I decided to send them a little email explaining to them that they should put in the description of which base there nicotine is in.
This is the transcripts of the emails that I had with Vapewild regarding their nicotine:
Me: I see that you are now offering DIY supplies. Everything looks great on your site! The only thing that I would say is to explain which base your 100mg nicotine is in. Whether that be VG or PG. I assume that it is 100%VG, though it would be nice for people to have an option for which base they want there nicotine in. Just my 2cents :)
Vapewild: Hey there, I hope your day is going well :) The 100mg nicotine is pure nicotine and contains no VG or PG in it. (>‿◠)✌ Have an amazing day !! ϟStay Wildϟ
Love, Laugh, & Vape on !!!

Me: Good afternoon, Tammy.
Wanted to explain that 100mg nicotine is NOT pure nicotine. If you have 100mg nicotine, then it is at 10% not 99.9% pure nicotine. The other 90% would be the base whether that is VG or PG. After looking at the 100mg nicotine page again, it states in the picture of the bottle "Nicotine in VG," with 100mg posted on the bottle below.
I would clarify with your supervisor before you make a statement about a product you obviously haven't used or have much knowledge about. Read up on PURE nicotine please before you tell someone else that Vape Wild has and is selling pure nicotine. I will post a link so you can understand the dangers of PURE nicotine and hopefully you will never tell someone again that you guys are selling it.
Nicotine is a division 6 substance. Only 2 other classes exist above nicotine’s classification... RADIOACTIVE MATERIAL and certain CORROSIVES.
The MINUTE YOU OPEN A BOTTLE OF PURE NICOTINE YOU ARE CONSIDERED TO BE IN A LEVEL A (RED ZONE).

Vapewild: I did ask because I did not know the answer. After you sent me this email I asked someone else who said if anything it would be mixed with VG.
I decided not to even respond to this last message because she proved that NO ONE up there has any clue about mixing juice or nicotine.
I wanted to share this with the community since there has been some talk about them and even a long discussion about it on tonight's InTheMix Podcast. I hope this shed some light on the matter of VapeWild trying to get into the mixing game. Maybe I should have sent "Tammy," a link to this sub reddit instead ;)
These guys are NEVER getting verified vendor, and may even get a warning on the verified vendor page.
Please do put a warning section. This post warrants it. I watched Vape Wild's video too which is rife with misinformation. They need to be shunned heavily for this. Fucking scary how ignorant they are.
I actually don't mind them when I buy juice, shame they're this unbelievably dense about selling DIY supplies.
That may even be more dangerous if they're mixing their own juices (I'm not sure if they are, I haven't bought mixed juice in a few years) because if they don't know what a proper dilution of nicotine is, they could end up fucking poisoning someone.
Reply from them after getting oxidized nic this morning: "An avid DIYer here says it's supposed to be pale brown and have an off smell, but we'll send out two 'fresh' bottles for you!"
Nonononononononononononononono
If you've ever bought any juice from VapeWild, you'd never consider buying their DIY supplies. I gave them three chances; all three orders arrived cloudy, harsh, and completely unvapeable even after weeks-to-months of steeping.
One juice I bought from them looked like they ran out of VG 90% into mixing the bottle, and just substituted vegetable oil because it had "vegetable" in the name. It was sketchy as fuck to watch all of the ingredients layered on top of one another inside the bottle; no amount of shaking or steeping could make that liquid homogenize.
Seriously, fuck VapeWild and the couch they rode in on.
I 've made many big orders from them (480mL to 960mL per order, some times over a liter) and I never had any issues with bad juice. Everything has always been consistent.
The only time they messed up my order, the nicotine level was wrong on one flavor (ordered 3mg but got 6mg). I talked to Tammy and they shipped me 480mL of juice, free of charge, and I live in Brazil.
One critical thing that I forgot to mention is that their customer service was deplorable. Every time I emailed them about the problems with my order, they would just say that I needed to let it steep longer. So I'd give it two weeks and email again once the juices hadn't gotten any better; no response.
I really enjoy buying from skyline vapor (their sister company?) every now and again because it's pre steeped and guaranteed to be vape-able.. But now i'm wondering if I can find another place that does better juice.. any recs?
I also gave vape wild 3 tries and all 3 times their juice was unvapeable and perfumy even for months after.
With all the talk about the state of their nic, (oxidized, brownish color, off-smell, etc) it sounds like they got a deal on a big batch of very old nic and are selling it at a low price while still keeping a good profit margin on it.
Or they're just selling the nic they use for their own juice. One more reason to DIY - to know what is actually in the juice.
Or they're selling surplis nic that is too old to use in their own juice and figure they can make some money off it rather than disposing of it.
Just watch their video from their Facebook page and decide yourself how much they get it: https://www.facebook.com/VapeWild/videos/1753120168260052/
"36 drops of nicotine" Doesnt say concentration, base, or how much juice theyre making. yikes.
36 drops of RAW nicotine....lol. How can this video possibly exist from a large scale juice company. They should know better. This video is pretty sickening and it hurt me greatly to watch it. Prepare for the influx of people asking about raw/pure nicotine (yes I know they arent using pure nicotine but I guarantee the people who watch this that arent mixers themselves wont know.)
What could possibly go wrong..
Looks like it was taken down... I kinda wanted to see that...
Have to log in to see it. Honestly a fucking horrible video, they measure the flavors in syringes and do the nicotine in drops, the fucking opposite of what you should be doing if you're going to half ass it, and aren't giving percentages or anything, it's basically totally useless and could even be dangerous since they don't even say how much they're mixing or how to figure out nicotine levels in different size batches. I can't believe that any company would allow a video like this to be posted under their name.
Already deleted :(
I'm a noob and I even know that 100mg is 10% and pure nicotine would be 1000mg. I personally bought some stuff from them and the actual product was okay minus the nicotine was apparently oxidized to some extent. Their VG and PG is okay and it's a really good price. I haven't done a test on their nicotine accuracy because I don't have a test kit but I am a bit curious to check if it's actually 100mg. When I was vaping it in my cloud beast tank @ 12mg mix I was getting a bit nauseated so I cut it down to 6mg and seemed to be fine. But I want to tell myself it's because of the monster clouds im blowing with that tank and hopefully their nic is accurate. The thing that was iffy to me is their flavorings. I think it's rebottled brands with the original name removed and their label tossed on. I feel if they sell flavoring it should be in the same form as other vendors do (i.e. CAP, TFA etc.) Also they started selling mixed flavoring under a different section of their recipes for their juice @ 8$ per 10ml flavoring. And they really don't inform you how strong it should be mixed but @8$ for 10ml flavoring that's kind of pricey. I don't want to scold them and I think their product is Okay, but obviously someone higher up should be aware that misinformation is being told thru employees and that isn't good at all.
I used to smoke 2 packs a day and if I vaped 12mg out of a tfv8 I would probably get nicotine poisoning.
I talked to them today as a concerned member of the lab community since I opperate an iso 7 and an iso 5 lab within 30 miles of them. They are looking into these incidences. I know some people up there and I think these were honest mistakes. I know they are hiring new CS people and it sounds like some retraining is in order. Lets give them time to look at this stuff and respond. Id hate for them to get a blacklisted if its an honest mistake.
We would like to thank you all for pointing out your concerns about certain VapeWild DIY products. After reading your comments and conducting an internal review, we are taking the following steps to correct these concerns:
1.) We are relabeling our nicotine and website to say 100mg/ml. We will also clarify that our nicotine is 99.87% USP Grade suspended in 99.7% USP Kosher VG on the back of the label.
2.) We are adding batch numbers to all of our 100mg/ml nicotine products.
3.) We are offering a 100% refund to anyone who is not satisfied with their nicotine purchase prior to Oct. 3rd, 2016
4.) The videos in question have been removed.
5.) The VapeWild customer service staff are going through an extensive and ongoing DIY training.
On another note, we would also like to point that the flavorings we purchase are from several different independent flavor manufacturers, and we make custom blends. Nothing is ever sold directly from a flavor manufacturer’s bottle.
VapeWild would like to thank everyone again for their criticisms, and we look forward to making these changes and earning your trust in the future. The reddit vaping community has been a big part of vaping’s growth as well as VapeWild’s. Although criticism is sometimes hard to hear, we understand it is necessary to become a better retailer for our customers.
Holy fuck, they're selling pure nicotine? What's wrong with them, VapeWild makes juice for hundreds of thousands of people across America. Can't believe no one in that organisation has any common sense, and no one was bright enough to think whether it's a good idea. A beginner could easily obtain that product and get into some serious problems...
They aren't selling PURE nicotine, though that is what "Tammy," told me. They are selling 100mg in 100%VG.
Can you get a screencap of the email conversation? I'd like to have concrete proof for when theae guys try to to,get verified vendor.
(use clipping tool to screenshot only what you want)
Sure thing. You want me to PM them to you?
As VapeWild I would like to apologize for the misinformation that anyone has received from our customer service reps.
Our nicotine is 100% and is a VG base nic. You will see on the warning label "may contain PG" this is a standard, just like most store bought product says "may have traces of peanuts".
The video that was linked you will see discolored product this is due to the product being used is a prop product. This is the main link to the video for some reason people are having a hard time finding it on our social media sites.
Please note we strive to be a transparent company and will continue to be.
Thank you to all of you loyal customers and people we sponsor for tagging and sending this to us. If anyone has any questions about any of our products all you have to do is PM us or tag us and we will gladly answer!
Hi /u/VapeWild
I'm in the UK so the highest nicotine solution available here without a poison control licence is 7.2% per 100ml of PG/VG, I think it's 10% per 100ml in the US, and it is suspended in a carrier liquid, PG or VG for vaping.
I don't think your information is correct. For people wanting to make their own eliquid, it's really important to be confident that the nicotine solution you use is what it says it is on the bottle, otherwise your end product won't be what you think it is.
It would be good for your customers to know what exactly is in the nic base you sell and it shouldn't take you a long time to find out. It'd be worth finding out and letting people know so they can be confident about your product if they order from you?
Just a thought
I'm not saying this to roast you guys, as I purchased your products, but your nicotine is 10% (100mg). And what I purchased was the same colour as what you show in that video and on your website in the picture. I don't have any issues with your product whatsoever. I will be purchasing more VG and Pg from you in the future because the price is definitely the lowest I found, but it seems apparent that you should focus improving your nicotine so it is clear and not oxidized and making sure that terms like "raw" and "100%" are not thrown around loosely because it can easily be misinterpreted, and as you see here, a lot of these guys are passionate about DIY juice so it can be a bit dissapointing when a well known vendor is making mistakes about common practice. Make sure you are providing as much info as possible in reguard to your products and it is always accurate.
Your company is one of the best, and your prices haven't been beaten yet.
I, like many others, really like your work and what you provide. But nowadays, people have reached new low levels in life that they would make a big deal out of anything just to get some attention or open a subject to talk about.
And whatever your customer service or other people say about a product you make, it does not change what it really is. Saying "pure nicotine" about a 100mg/ml nicotine base, doesn't change what it is.
Keep up the good work, ignore the trolls and good luck.
