I've been mixing for a week, mostly my own recipes, and just messing around and having fun and I ended up with this:
Light n Fruity mix
Forest Mix (Forest Fruit) (FA) - 2%
Fresh Mint 2%
Fuji Apple (FA) - 2%
honey dew melon (JF) - 3%
I still have a lot of adjusting to do, but the mild fruit mix is the one I always end up back to in between flavor tastings and ended up making a 60ml, after trying some more fruit flavors I might end up making a 120ml bottle to always keep on hand, I'm going through it surprisingly fast. It's not necesarily my favorite or tastiest recipe, but for some reason I just always end up vaping it, Lol.
Honey pearry, always mix a litre and have at least 500ml on tap just in case
6% pear
3% strawberry
3% honeydew
All TFA
nice, pear was already on my next order might have to try this out. thanks for sharing!
Currently have two:
-
Kreed's Custard I keep atleast one 200ml steeping at all times since it needs so long to be vapeable to me (5-6 weeks). I've read some people even use it as a custard base for their recipes but I'm not sure how useable it is as one.
-
Shaner's sparkling apple peach wine I mix a 120ml every week or so because its my current ADV and my wife loves it too. Its a nice shake n vape but a week's steep really makes it shine so I always need to have a big bottle of this steeping at all time. I wouldn't make a huge batch of this if you aren't actively vaping it.
(both from ELR)
That sparkling wine recipe looks great -- I'm gonna try it out. But the Kreed's Kustard on ELR has multiple versions... which one do you recommend?
This one mate: https://e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/429399/
And yes, the sparkling wine recipe is damn fantastic. It works REALLY good with TPA Champagne as well which people seem to have a hard time using. I think both the fuji and white peach counteract the 'flatness' associated TPA Champagne. Can't say enough good things about this recipe. If u like it the first time around go for a big batch and you won't be disappointed :)
I've always got /u/project_twenty5oh1's Nanner bear clone mixed up. At least 250ml batches for myself and my buddy comes over for 500ml refills.
Seemingly hides nicotine well, for stressful days or a night of drinking.
it is always fun to go back and read that thread. what a journey
Did you ever end up modifying it or are you still happy with that recipe?
That shit was my adv for months. I should try it again soon..
I second this. Phenomenal recipe. I mix a ton of thug juice variations, too.
8% TFA Watermelon candy 5% TFA Grape candy 1-2% menthol 10% 1% INW Cactus
Sometimes I'll round it out with .5% TFA Honeydew and .5% TFA dragonfruit.
I always, always, always tend to mix 15ml bottles, 30ml max because I'm a big flavor slut and like to hop around between wildly divergent flavor profiles dependent on anything from seasons, reasons, moods, situations, food & drink pairings, whatever.
That said, /u/cheebasteeba's amazing Sweet Strawberry Cream has the unique distinction of being the only recipe I have ever mixed up in a 100ml size.
Do I still mix up every strawberry-cream recipe that catches my eye? Yes, at least 2 new ones every session, and almost all of them are great, but that one's the only one I've found that tics all the boxes for me, including ones I didn't even know I had.
That sweet strawberry cream is on point. Just whipped up 120ml.
So good, right? I feel like a total fangirl always banging on about it, but, it's so pitch perfect.
I can taste 3 strawberry creams in one week, load that one up, and still have a heroin addict's relief/reaction to it. It's like coming home.
And, I'm not even a strawberry+cream devotee, but, it's so. damn. good. For the record I sub FA Red Touch with INW Strawberry, but I don't think there is a notable difference there.
Three Banger Custard, Loaded Donuts, and Dutchie Stroopwafel. Always have at least 120mls of each steeping, except Three Banger.. It really is better fresh so I only make 50ml batches, but I make one every week. All three are from ELR and possibly originated here.
That Stroopwafel is something else; INW Waffle is just about my favorite flavoring ever. I gotta drip some now...
Edit: 120ml of Harry's Bearded Smooth 05 v2 or New Amsterdam Vapes S&C are always on deck, too. Can't forget the S&C.
How does INW waffle compare to the others? I have TFA and FW and they're just too alcoholic for me.
It's super potent. The Stroopwafel recipe calls for one drop in 15mls and it's very present. It's unlike the other waffles though. You can actually taste that bit of iron from the waffle press like it's a fresh, hot waffle that's got a crunch on the outside but nice and fluffy inside. It's wild. One of the most realistic flavors I've ever had. I like it standalone but most will find it lacking complexity. Mixing in some maple, caramel, brown sugar, or even a tad of TPA or FW waffle will round it out easily. I definitely give my seal of approval. Have you tried TPA Belgian Waffle? I like it better than TPA and FW Waffle not not as much as INW.
3 Banger is mine :) Glad someone else is enjoying it! It really is better fresh, isn't it?
Big time. After 2 weeks it gets a little bland. Fresh off the scale it's really thick, rich, and delicious. I absolutely love it. Best custard out there! Thanks for sharing it; you rock!
My latest iteration of 3 Banger has been 7% TFA Vanilla Custard, 7% CAP Butter Cream, 3.5% CAP VBIC, 3.5% TFA VBIC.
I really like how TFA Vanilla Custard works in this particular recipe, and the half and half of CAP and TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream broadens the flavor a bit without being too much of either. I still use CAP VC1 in 4 Banger, but the addition of TFA Vanilla Swirl in that one is made unnecessary by using TFA VC, since VS is essentially VC without the custard notes. That is how I came to the latest version of 3 Banger. I have yet to post it on ELR, though.
What's the loaded donuts recipe? How does it compare to the original
Never had the original. It's the best glazed donut recipe I've found. It has a slight spice to it and it's delicious.
I....I need this Stroopwafel recipe after enjoying them immensely in Amsterdam earlier this year.
They're so good. And so is this recipe! Runts the man.
I keep prime industries' blueberry yum yum, fizzmustard's mustard milk, /u/coop34 's caramel almond custard and /u/botboy141 's awesome Apple pie on deck.
(On mobile, will post blueberry yum yum's creator when I get home, as well as recipes) edit I'll post recipes to anyone who asks
I'd love the blueberry yum yum recipe!
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (TFA) @ 7%
Blueberry Extra (TFA) @ 4%
Vanilla Cup Cake (TFA) @ 3%
Graham Cracker Clear (TFA) @ 1.5%
Sweet Cream (TFA) @ 1.5%
Cinnamon Danish (TFA) @ 1%
Cheesecake Graham Crust (TFA) @ 1%
Marshmellow (TFA) @ 1%
The person that posted the recipe recommended to use CAP Vanilla Cupcake in place of TFA Vanilla Cupcake, so that's what I do. Very good recipe, especially after a week steep.
Rhodonite and /u/wh1skeyk1ng,s Jelly Filled Donut
Hey, thanks! I've actually had really good luck going 50/50 with 2% INW Strawberry Shisha and 2% FA Red Touch or TFA Strawberry Ripe for the strawberry part. Kind of a preference thing, I feel I get better taste with the INW and FA together, but don't be afraid to play around with it.
I've done just that dude. The strawberry is perfect for me as is but literally just testing a new batch with 1% CAP Jelly Candy added. Jelly, or jam filled donuts as they are called in the UK have kind of a synthetic, over sweet jam inside over here and the jelly candy addition seems to replicate that quite well. Not sure if I prefer it to the original yet. Love this vape though. No play doh taste and tastes just like the real thing to me. Thanks for posting it
Vurve's - Vanilla Banana Wafer
RowdyRebel's - Strawberry Cereal (captivape clone)
Third World Order's - Imperial Butterscotch and Third World Custard v2
FizzMustard's - Mustard Tiger
Dirty Projectors- Strawberry Milks
Make these in 450ml batches. Always have them ready. I dont even explore too much any more. Usually stick to the same 5-10 recipes
Snake Oil/Venom clone
My version of Placid (based on it, not meant to be a clone)
My version of Sagamore (same)
A vanilla custard that I will occasionally add 1-2 drops of FLV Rich Cinnamon in per 30ml as I pour it
My Ry4 juice
Any chance you'd share your Sagamore recipe? Anything even close to the original would make me a very happy camper. (My attempts have been pretty sad.)
Fuck it why not?
Homage to Sagamore
FA Ry4 5% FA Caramel 1% CAP Sugar Cookie 2% FLV Rich Cinnamon 1 drop per 30ml or 2 drops if you're feeling particularly zesty.
I've made a couple recipes that I liked enough to always have a batch made. It's still a work in progress on most of these.
Cherry Meringue: Not quite as "cherry" as I would like, but it has a nice hint.
FA- Black Cherry 5%
FA- Meringue 3%
FA- Marzipan 1%
Lemon Sweet Tea: The lemon percentage might be a bit high in this recipe.. It's definitely got a strong lemon flavor but I don't find it to be very overpowering with the sweet tea.
CAP- Sweet Tea 5.5%
CAP- Juicy Lemon 10%
Chai Latte: I modified this a bit from someone's post on here about a year ago to fit what flavors I had. It's pretty spicy if you shake and vape it, but after about 1-2 weeks, it calms down and you can get some of the cream and vanilla.
CAP- Chai Tea 8%
TFA- Vanilla Bean Gelato 4%
TFA- Vanilla Custard 3%
FA- Vienna Cream 2%
FW- Whipped Cream 1%
I always have a large bottle of Floating Island. I love this stuff after a 4 week steep.
Ingredient|% :---|---: Cookie (Biscotto) (FA)|2.5 Cream Fresh (FA)|1.8 Malted Milk (TPA)|0.5 Nugat (INAWERA)|1 Vanilla Bean Gelato (TPA)|3 Vanilla Shisha (INAWERA)|1.2 Vienna Cream (FA)|3.2
Flavor total: 13.2%
EDIT: note: after several iterations, for my taste and tanks, I make this @ 1.2x flavor concentration (15.9%.)
4 week steep?! you have patience. a serious ton of it. I cannot even seem to let something steep for a single day without sneaking tastes. I applaud you.
Berry Crunch Donut (Sad Panda Vape)
3% Berry Crunch (TPA)
4% Glazed Doughnut (CAP)
3% Strawberry (Ripe) (TPA)
1% Sweetener (Sucralose) (TPA)
3% Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (FW)
Flavor total: 14% Remember to rate it at: http://tjek.nu/r/5MB0
Always have a tub of this laying around somewhere.
