I want to share some KINDNESS to you all!
submitted about 9 years ago by Jobe422

Are you tired of being SEDUCED by some ejuice vendors?

Does that other DIY'er juice make you ENVY?

Well...may I bring you a little...KINDNESS?

(aka Seduce Juice Envy Clone)

Papaya (TFA) 8.5%

Boysenberry (TFA) 2.75%

Blackberry (LA) 0.15%

I like to make an 80/20 VG/PG mix, you are more than welcome to adjust as you would need/want/like.

This is the reason I got into DIY. This juice is very different, and tasty(to me). The problem I had was the consistency of the juice. I had problems every other order or so.

A friend of mine helped me with the tasting process, Envy is his ADV. We both really like what I came up with here. The only thing missing is a touch of sweetness, but after a week of steeping there's a touch of sweetness that does come out, but not as heavy as the original.

I like to use the Blackberry by LA because it's strong, tarty and a small touch goes a long way. Even at a 0.25% it can be overpowering in this mix.

The papaya I felt needed to be high to start with, it's strong note you get from the original, and I wouldn't call it a dominate flavor so much, as in a note that mixes well and stays from inhale to exhale in a pleasant way.

And reading the description off the website, I knew to start with Papaya and Boysenberry, the blackberry was somewhat of a guess to start with, knowing how Seduce juice has this certain tang to their juices.

Never tried to shake and vape, but if you are a brave soul please feel free to do so! Depending on the amount you make at one time, give it anywhere from 5-9 days for a good steep!

Comments, suggestions, public shaming, criticism, flogging, please comment. :)

Enjoy!

The missing sweetness is probably the load of sucralose most commercial vendors taint their mixes with. Good on you for not adding any. Your coils will thank you by not turning into charcoal after 1 day.

I'd add 1.5-2% (TFA) Cotton Candy to get some of that sweetness. Screw sucralose.

I've seen a lot of people comment about using the CC for a sweetness. I have yet to get some to try. So far what I'm experimenting with, I don't have a need or want to add sweetness.

Then again, I've only been at this for a few months, and what I am experimenting with it's more balancing the flavors than trying to enhance them.

TFA Cotton Candy is literally just 10% Ethyl Maltol, it's probably cheaper to just buy EM. It's definitely cheaper to buy a bag of crystals and make your own solution if you want a lot of it. Personally I almost never use sweeteners, as juice you'd want to be sweet tends to use concentrates that already contain EM.

There's a chance that cotton candy might mute flavours. I recommend using FA Pear at 0.5 - 1% for sweetness. I use it a lot in fruit blends when I need that extra oomph and I don't want to use sweetener. Works great.

Yea, Envy will make you produce some nice charcoal on your coils quickly. This stuff will get a bit, but it takes a long time and not a lot builds up.

Thanks! I'm just taking my first floundering steps into DIY (haven't even bought anything). I'm just trying to get a first order together. It's nice to be able utilize your time and effort. Having an extremely tight budget means you can't afford many mistakes and kind people like you will be instrumental in getting (less) frustrated with this than I would have been blindly attempting a clone.

I owe it to this sub, it's great! Lots of info and helpful folks in here!

I just took what I knew of the juice and it took about 6-7 variations and settled into what me and my buddy liked. So I felt it was time to share!

All in all, I can make a 120ml bottle 3mg nic for just under $3 in costs. Bottles were saved, already owned scale, got the syringes and pipettes, and read read read.

Juice Calculator software is fantastic! Make sure to download it from the sidebar!

Random question. I get a fermented taste from the papaya tpa. Is it me or a steep thing

If you get an odd taste from TFA, you might want to try FA's Papaya. I've heard nothing but good things about it

Hard to say really. I'm not that knowledgeable or experienced.

I would go over some things tho, like are you trying it as a single flavor? What concentration and VG/PG mix?

What is your steep environment like?

Has anyone else you known tried this and gotten the same result?

Me and my gf agree it has a fermented taste. Tried single flavor and in recipes. It steeps out a bit but I got it for Mike's melons and really was turned off by the taste of that recipe due to papaya

I think I'm catching that same note in my mango / papaya mix . Try bringing it down some ?? I am currently at 3.5 %. I'm going to try 2%

Maybe mix it with a touch of boysenberry or dragonfruit to mellow out the flavor a bit.
