Feedback on DIY or DIE concentrates?
submitted about 9 years ago by JustAnHuman

Hello all,

I would be interested by any review or feedback on boardwalk, misty, and pistchio ry4!

Thanks!

No experience with the concentrates, but the recipes themselves are great. Misty is the mix that got me to like fruity vapes, P-RY4u is my favorite recipe ever, and boardwalk is a super tasty ADV for summer days.

God I love PRY4U, that steep time is a bitch though

I make 120ml bottles at a time and when I get to about 30-40ml's left I make another batch and set it aside.

That's what I must do now.

Thanks

I made a 30 first, let it steep, made a 60 this last time, but I will follow this method from here on out. It's just too good not to have a constant supply

Wait a minute. You're telling me you don't go through at LEAST 30mls a day?

How long?

3 weeks to a month is what I recommend. It taste fine at 2 weeks but it seriously improves in flavor after 3.

I only have pasticho ry4 and it is the kitties titties. Highly recommended it, but be sure to make a huge bottle of it because the steep time is rather long and you'll want more than just one tiny bottle.

When they first came out I ordered funfetti and was impressed so I got pistachio ry4u and roskymilk, and I must say they didn't disappoint. Follow the recomended % and steep time but it defentily is a good deal well worth it and very convenient to just toss it together. I know have almost all the flavors to make most of them on my own, but when I was still mixing by volume this had speed up the process and make a lot easyier for new mixers or those that just want a simple one shot that will create a great juice

As they say it's probably the best deal in vaping.... Hahha love ya wayne.

I would honestly say it's worth it give it a shot

I Love them; pistachio is awesome, the chocolate donough great too, rhodonite has a really peculiar flavour and smell, good, and funfetti is creamy and delicious. note: not related to Wayne at all :)

Never personally bought the concentrates but I have mixed them based on his recipe. Pistachio RY4 is really good but it needs a long steep (2-3 weeks). Cereal marshmallow milk is really good. Same goes for bronuts and rhodonite.

I bought Funfetti and Rhodonite. Top notch. Great recipes, great shipping (I live in Canada). A+++ would order again.

I ordered P-ry4u, rhodinite( tied for favorite), rosky milk, funetti(my least favorites). There definitely worth it. You'll get like 150-200ML of pry4u and like 300ML from rhodonite, and somewhere between those for the other two I listed

Rhodinite is very original but funky the coils, bronuts is more like a dry chocolate cake and also gunks. The ry4 is great, gunfetti is a bit boring.

Gunfetti sounds like a 3rd graders solution to police violence.

If you don't use the concentrates, the recipe where the CGD is lowered to 5% and TFA Bavarian cream is added to 2% is much better in my opinion. But I agree it just tasted like a dry chocolate cake/doughnut to me as is.

Can anyone comment on Rosky Milk (Cereal Marshmallow Strawberry Milk). I've made about 5 different "strawberries and cream/milk" recipes and I've yet to find one that I like. It seems to be one of the most popular vapes and every company has one. I'd love some feedback before I make my first purchase of his concentrates.

I cant comment on rosky, but if you are mixing from scratch then I can whole-heartedly recommend strawberry milks by /u/thedirtyprojector. One of the best that I have had from that profile. Give it 2 weeks to steep and I dont think you'll be disappointed.

Can confirm. Good recipe and I too had trouble finding one I liked.

Thank you for the support, dude! I feel like it flew past the radar for a lot of people, which is a shame...

You should post it at ATF. Love that recipe, vaping it daily since you posted it.

I agree 100% , his strawberry Milk recipe is the best i have ever had & i have tried a lot of recipes .

Most Strawberry Milks taste essentially the same but his is truly outstanding .

If you want to know the flavour profiles, look up the recipes (they are on the diy or die webpage, with a good story about them).
Otherwise, they are excellent. Well balanced, and very tasty!

This reminds me that my PRY4 is done steeping for the recommended week (and a few days). I'll check back shortly.

Edit: Has good flavor. Tobacco notes are a bit too strong for me. Not my cup of tea. I'll definitely be tinkering with it. (Not a tobacco fan, but it came recommended from people saying I would still probably like it)
