I was gifted approximately €1,000 worth of PG, VG, nicotine & concentrates recently.

€0.00/ml for the foreseeable future.

I think I am around $1.50 or even $2 per 30ml due to expensive but very good nic and higher shipping costs (and lots of 10ml bottles). But time is more a factor than money here.

Barrel of VG + potent flavoring + cheapest nic you can find?

For an at home mixer, not much better than a strong TFA flavor + vg + 100mg nic mixed at 1.5mg/ml.

Granted, single flavor isn't my style. But it would work.

I'm at $1.80/30mL including bottle/label, $1.05 without (CAD).

Seems to be about average.

Based off of buying from Liquid Barn and buying chubby gorilla unicorn bottles it costs me around $1.34 per 30ml bottle.

But that's before I went from 48mg nicotine to 100mg nicotine.

I worked it out shortly after I got into DIY to be £0.42 (exc. bottle) per 10ml, based on my VG/PG/Nic costs at the time and 15% flavour at Capella 10ml concentrate cost.

I buy bigger bottles of everything now though, so less than £0.04/ml, unless I go crazy high % FA.

Its funny how the people who can make ejuice the cheapest, are the ones selling ejuice for the highest prices (the bigger companies producing thousands of bottles per day)

yip why should vaping cost more than smoking

I average about $1.10/30ml, all inclusive.

My math came out to 1.36 per 30 ml is what I spent on my most recent purchase. That included some syringes in the purchase so the actual juice order is a little cheaper if I didn't include that.

$0.024 per ml.

Buying my PG and VG by the gallon helped.

About $3.85 for 125ml, including the bottle. Living by heartland vapes and not paying shipping cost helps keep the cost down. That and I buy my concentrates 120 or 250ml at a time.

about 40% of what i spend is postage

Here's a copypasta from a post I made in ecr like 2 years ago to show people how cheap DIY was. My numbers are lower now and I buy from different vendors now, but don't feel like putting forth the effort to recalculate

Just a note, I vape 2mg juice at 25pg/75vg. As these numbers change, the cost slightly changes.

I buy my flavoring from The Flavor Apprentice

I buy my flavoring in 4oz bottles, and on average, the cost of a 4oz (120ml) bottle is $7, or 5.8 cents per ml.

My mixes average 15%-20% overall flavoring. To make the math easy, lets say 20% flavoring. That's 6ml per 30ml bottle, or 34 cents

I also get my PG and VG from them (although I've recently found you can get them much cheaper elsewhere, but I'll use those numbers since it is what I have). I buy them by the gallon (3785ml).

PG is $40 a gallon and VG is $25 a gallon. Pg is ~1 cent per ml & VG is ~.6 cents per ml.

In this hypothetical bottle, I will use 3.5ml of PG which is 3.5 cents and 19.5ml of VG which is 11.7 cents.

I buy 60mg/ml nic base by the liter(1000ml) from My Freedom Smokes. That liter is $81.95 or ~8.2 cents per ml. In this bottle, I will use 1ml of nic base which is 8.2 cents.

Lets add it up.

34 cents for flavoring

3.5 cents for PG

11.7 cents for VG

8.2 cents for nic

The current total is ~57.4 cents before the bottle.

If you look on eBay, 30ml bottles can be found for as little as 25 cents per bottle

After adding the cost of the bottle, we are at 82.4 cents per 30 ml bottle.

Now obviously if you vape higher nic levels, the cost will slightly raise. I also find that most mixes are less than 20%, which will slightly decrease the cost. Playing with the numbers a bit will slightly change the price, but not to a level that will break the bank.

After awhile I started to get pretty good at mixing, so now I mix for friends and friends of friends, which is why I buy in larger quantities. When buying in smaller quantities, the cost per ml does raise slightly as well. I also have a bulk account with The Flavor Apprentice, which brings down the cost of the 4oz+ bottles of concentrated flavoring.

Please note: I've also thrown away my fair share of unvapeable juice that I mixed myself while testing flavors, but that again isn't too expensive as I test in 10ml batches. I also reuse bottles which can keep overall cost down.

Hope I helped! If you're interested in more come hang with us over at /r/DIY_Ejuice !

Edit: Obligatory thank you for gold! I'm glad I could shed some light on the DIY side of vaping! It takes some practice, but it is simply another stepping stone on the Hobbyist side of vaping.

To find out exact numbers for your juice, I recommend taking a look at the E-Juice Me Up calculator for mixing! It isn't the only calculator out there, it's just what I use.

I have a regional juice line... My most popular flavor costs me 73¢/60ml to make. After labels and bottles is $1.68.

It depends on what recipe. Most are around .02/mL - a 30mL is usually .50-.75.

My least expensive is HIC's Tiramisu Cream, slightly changed. I make that for a friend's husband - he goes through 120mL per month (@18mg nic) and it only costs me 1.70 to make that 120mL

Well, considering I was gifted a friend of mines entire set of flavorings, nicotine, bottles, tips, caps, and glassware when he sold his shop to a bigger outfit, My cost per ml is effectively zero. Other than time spent mixing, time is money after all. I have a picture around somewhere, I think I posted it once a good while back.

i was expecting something like "im siting at about 4p (£0.04gbp) per ml including bottles." not i have a bath full of nic/vg and i just roll my naked body around int it all
