I've been lurking for a while but I want to thank this sub and everybody that is actively posting here, and the amazing side bar full of info we have here. I just made my first batch, its a Strawberry Vanilla Custard very very similar to BDV "Princess" and its amazing how simple it was after I did it. I cant wait to start creating and saving money hand over fist.
As sappy as it sounds thank you everyone here. You have all made this endeavor as daunting as it may seem to a noobie very simple and easy to take on. Cheers guys.
Recipe EDIT!!:
Forgive the formatting, still learning the ins and outs. here my recipe after i did a tiny 10ml and tweaked with the flavor amount, it's a 40ml batch mixed in a 60ml amber bottle, used the extra space for optimal shaking for a shake and vape as i depleted the last of my BDV juices days ago.
Ingredient | % | ml | grams ---|---|----|---- Nic Base (VG) | 6.25 | 2.5 | 6.25 VG | 73.8 | 29.5 | 37.2 PG (aside from flavors)| N/A | N/A | N/A CAP Sweet Strawberry | 10 | 4 | 4 CAP Vanilla Custard | 10 | 4 | 4 Totals | 100 | 40 | 48.35
The calculator I used was http://e-liquid-recipes.com/ as it graciouslly converted to weight for the ease of use. All in all it was a great success for a first go round, the Vanilla is a bit strong and I've thought about throwing in some TFA Pear that I got as well and replacing the Custard with Bavairan Creame when i get my next order of big bottles in.
Thanks for reading up on the sidebar first. If everyone did that I wouldn't be graying prematurely.
Is it okay to vape essential oils?
What kind of asshole doesn't post a recipe? Come on, OP.

10% VC would taste like vomit to me, lol
Holy custard, Batman!
Here's one for you:
Cap Sweet Strawberry 6%
Cap Vanilla Custard v1 3.5%
FA Meringue .............. 1.5%
TFA Bavarian Cream.... 2%
This is actually my first original recipe that I created when I started DIYing. Simple, delicious. Give it a shot.
We would suggest layering strawberries. It produces a more rounded and realistic flavor.
It looks great! I just placed my first order for supplies and concentrates at Wizard Labs last night, hopefully I'll be in your shoes early next week!
Thanks man! I'm hyped, are you going to be doing it by volume or weight? I'd recommend weight and the scale that's suggested here. Happy mixing bro!!
I think I'll be doing volume at first and then by weight. I didn't get graduated cylinders or enough squirt bottles to start off with weight, but I'll eventually move to it. You too man!
