A cool, refreshing vape. Perfect for a hot day and reminiscent of Summer.
I know that summer is almost over, but this is one I wanted to make for summer that would be a great vape during this season and hold a memory location with the flavor and aroma.
Florals are one of those interesting profiles that few dare to journey down, mostly because they are unforgiving and odd. A bad floral vape will taste like you're vaping your Grandma's Perfume, but a good floral vape can be one that quenches all the notes you desire in a vape and leaves you satisfied, if you're willing to participate in the journey.
This is my Summer.
I chose these flavors based on how well I felt they played off of each other, all sort of leaning toward a refreshing profile.
FLV Yakima Hops -- I feel this flavor gives a good sort of earthy, light body to a vape that lends a somewhat citrus-y and floral note.
FLV Elderflower -- This is obviously the most floral of the bunch, and provides a bright, sweet, earth tone that is perfect for summer.
FLV Pink Guava -- I love the citrus note this brings, and the tropical aspect of the Guava is exemplary to me in this mix.
INW Eucalyptus w/ Mint -- What do you crave more than anything on a hot day? Something cool. Eucalyptus gives it to you. It does have a bit of an earthy flavor to it, which makes it tough to fit in to a lot of recipes, but goes very well in this mix.
INW Cactus -- We all know Cactus gives a nice bit of wetness to a mix, which I feel this one needs due to the hops being a little on the dry side, but it's a bit floral so that can comprise a mix, darn... Oh wait, this is a floral mix.
The only trouble with these flavors, is they all take a bit of steeping to calm down and not pound your face; it can be very overwhelming.
I really wanted to come up with something mid summer, but alas, was not able to. I am glad however I have a token to take with me until next Summer.
As always, if you enjoy it, let me know. If you don't, let me know too. If you have any ideas, I'd love to hear them.
I've been trying to get these to work together for a while and I wasn't any where close to these ratios. Which makes sense. The Yakima Hopps seems weak to me, but I may be overflavoring.
Eucalyptus with mint and cactus? The hell you say. I'm giving this a shot. I'm also going to steal your ratios and try to slot in FLV Lychee instead of the FLV Elderflower.
Euc mint + kaktus is always good. Look up my Rejuvenate on All the Flavors.
Dude, that's a steamroller of a juice right there. I like it. I'll have to give it a shot when i pick up the FLV Cantaloupe and I have a cold.
Hey, glad to have found the creator of Rejuvenate. I mixed some up when I felt like I was coming down with a cold, and I seemed to have prevented it. I added koolada to mine, and the eucalyptus / koolada combo was a 1 - 2 knockout to my sinuses. It was great, thanks!
Ooh that sounds like it could make a delightful substitute, good idea. Would love to hear about the outcome if you mix it up. Yakima hops doesn't have a whole lot of flavor to me on its own, but I do like the sort of body it brains to a mix
Nope. Don't sub the elderflower for FLV Lychee. The eucalyptus and the lychee are getting awfully weird together. Not like a good weird either. The original is still pretty damn good.
After a day, the original is nice and light but complex. The florals in the elderflower and the hops are really neat with the eucalyptus. The lychee sub is actually pretty solid. Not too much weirdness on the inhale. It's pretty sweet and slightly less floral than the elderflower version. Still have a bit of that weird lychee rubber taste on the exhale but its blending in with the eucalyptus pretty well. I'll update after a steep.

Just picked up FLV Yakima Hops on my recent order. It's like vaping the hops from an IPA. I freaking love it. Unfortunately, the only other flavor I have here is Cactus.
Also, I'm kinda jealous of your low % FLV and INW only recipes.
Jeez. All FLV and INW flavors. FLV is expensive as hell. And, other than Cactus, this is all rather uncommon flavors.
Not trying to bash you here. Just letting you know what my initial reaction was.
A quick glance of my batches on ATF has most of my Cap/FW/TFA heavy recipes coming to around 30-60 cents per 30ml bottle and the primarily FLV recipes land in the same range, perhaps closer to 60 cents on average. That's very few pennies per bottle to worry about.
