Flavor Bot

Hey DIY'ers,
in the past couple of days I have been working on a flavor bot that works similar to the juicedb bot over at /r/electronic_cigarette

I named it /u/flavor_bot

It watches the comments and new section of this sub and pulls information from ELR and ATF. Syntax is like so:

Let me know if this is something the community wants. Also happy to implement other features.

/u/daath knows that I am querying his API. I did not contact the developer of ATF, I think he is around here too - if so, please let me know if you are OK with the bot querying your API.

I see folks normally use flavors like [[ FA Butter ]] in normal conversation. I wonder if the bot will accept input that way, or only if ended with "by <manufacturer>"

The 'by' is basically the separator, so I know that afterwards is the company name.

I was thinking about regexing for a business name, but that would mean that I would have to store some kind of lookup for manufacturers inside my code. My plan was not to add that layer into the bot.

One of my ideas was "exploiting" /u/queuetue search API on ATF, since there you can filter for Manufacturer, this would give me a list I could work with, without having the hassle of maintaining it myself. I would need to check how reliable that would work with ECR.
