TFA Caramel Cappuccino
submitted about 9 years ago by thedirtyprojectorMixologist

RTA/ Kayfun 5

% Used/ 2 drops per 10ml or roughly 0.4%

Coil/ Single W/ 30

Steep Time/3 days Wicking/ Full

PG/VG 50/50 Nic% 0

Mouth Feel - Smooth with moderate mouth feel. Slight creaminess.

Flavor Properties- Robust strong coffee notes with a rich caramel undertones. This has an almost charcoal-roast bean taste to it.

Relatable Flavors - Like taking a sip of your favourite Starbuck's Caramel Cappuccino.

Off Flavors - This is a very potent flavor. Rule of thumb is 1 or 2 drops per 10ml. For me, I like my coffee strong with extra shots. So I went with 2 drops and it didn't impart any burnt taste like other coffee flavorings.

Position In The Recipe - This is one of those flavours that could work as a base in small respectable amounts. You could totally make a smooth, creamy caramel cappuccino (refer to recipe below)

Pairings - cream, tobacco, bakery, cakes

End notes - If you like coffee, you will like this. This flavoring gets a lot of shit because people use it at absurb percentages. It's a really potent flavoring that can be tamed with creams and vanillas to produce a really tasty coffee vape. I urge you guys to try it out if you are a fan of robust coffees. I definitely consider this one of, if not the best TFA coffee flavoring out there!

Additional recipe courtesy of Vapor Trails NW:

Kool Beans!

2 drops Caramel Cappuccino (TFA)

3% Vanilla Swirl (TFA)

3% Sweet Cream (TFA)

2% Caramel Candy (TFA)

3 drops per 10 ml Koolada

Me too, love coffee but never found a coffee flavour i like. Wake n vape was good in my first device (kanger subtank nano) but since uograding over the last year i've had different tanks and rdas and its just bitter and horrible.

Got a diy steeping thats fa cappucino, dairy milk, sweet cream and brown sugar with some vanilla added. Been steeping a week - tasted it yesterday and its disgusting. Leaving it another week to see what happens.

Interesting, I had sort of written off coffee vapes but this sounds appealing. Will have to pick some up on my next order.

Can't remember and can't check because I'm at work. But I'm pretty sure it's clear. If it was dark as tar, I would point it out in my review.

I'm happy to see this. I've been working with this one for a couple months now, and agreed - 1-2 drops per 10mL, plus needs creams. The one I'm still dialing in also has FA Cocoa/TPA Bittersweet Choc (also at ultra-low percents), Fresh Cream, Whipped Cream, Marshmallow, a touch of Coconut, and some others. It is shaping up really nicely.

Nice recipe. I will need to pick up some TFA coffee flavors and play around with them!

I agree, this is a great flavor but crazy strong. I think next time I bust it out I may even try to make a 10% dilution just to make it a bit easier to work with. It will take over a mix if you get a couple drops to many.

Great post, even better with the delicious sounding recipe. Finally, a good coffee concentrate. I had been having some bad luck with the few I picked up, most just taste like burnt coffee or bad coffee beans. Gonna have to pick this one up soon. Cheers.
