Dual coiled Tsunami 24. 10 wraps of 27 gauge SS316Lx2 wrapped with 38 gauge SS316L, 3mm Diameter, wicked with Cotton Bacon V2.
Steep time: S&V, 7 days, 14 days.
Mix: 40pg / 60vg.
Nic: 1.5mg
Percentage used: As per manufacturer instruction - 10 drops per 10ml.
Mouthfeel: One of the densest flavours I've tried to date. Feels as though you've bitten into a balloon of flavour that explodes all over your mouth.
Throat hit: 2/10
Flavour Properties: Pronounced, artificial egg combined with a strong vanilla of the perfume side of the spectrum.
Relatable Flavours: For anyone who has ever been to French supermarkets and tried their creme anglais - the ones in cartons - it is trying to replicate this. If I were to compare to other custard-type flavours this is more on the Flavorah Vanilla Custard side, rather than CAP or FA Custards.
Off Flavours: You can taste the cornflower used to thicken the creme. It's a pervading dry chalkiness that cripples this flavour. It reminds me of the time as a kid that I ate a spoonful of Flour for fun. Sucks the moisture from your tongue and leave a vague bitter aftertaste.
Position in the recipe: Perhaps at a very small percentage it could add some egg as an accent note.
Pairings: If you had to pair this, I would make absolutely sure to use it at small percentages, perhaps 0.5-1% with fruits and bakeries that add wetness to your vapour.

It was an obscure brand I saw while flavour browsing a few weeks back so thought - why not? Can't hurt. A shame really since the base flavour of a creme anglais is right there, it's just lost behind the dry, pervading chalkiness.
It's Crème Anglaise, not Anglais :)

Yep Solubarôme is really not obscure, it's just nobody knows about them out of France. Lots of French vendors use them in their liquids, and they have some bangin concentrates (Raspberry, Taro, Caramel, ...). Their honey and their toast are also spot on.
It wasn't meant to shun the brand so apologies if it came off that way ; it's just one I've not heard of.
Oooh taro! I've recently become obsessed with taro, I purchased a giant taro root last night and used it to make some taro boba! I need to experiment and create a taro boba vape.
I can't remember what taro tastes like (even though I loved the taro boba I had in the US), but I'm pretty sure their taro concentrate tastes nothing like the real thing. It tastes like candied peanuts or something like that. Delicious flavor but the name isn't accurate.

That is nowhere near 5%; that's more than likely almost 1% depending upon the size of the tip, btw.
Cheers mate. Should learn math really. Just listed what I saw on ejuice me up as a shortcut. Put the concentrate in at 5% and it listed 10 drops for a 10ml batch. Took me a few % tries to find it. I'll edit it out of the review, though I did follow the drops instruction with the typical tiny-tip dropper doohickey.
For future reference, measuring out 10 drops of this from their 10ml bottle size gave me more like 2.6% (if you consider their gravity weight to be 1 ml = 1g. (I just use that as the rule rather than follow exact manufacturers weights.)
After trying this flavor in several different amounts, I liked it at about 4% with a bit of something to sweeten it, either a mix of .5% FA Vanilla Classic with 0.75% FA Marshmallow and 0.5% of FA Butterscotch -- or 0.5% of TFA Sweetener. I prefered the FA mixture in the end.
