Just an FYI for anyone interested... HERE'S the direct link... Selling for $50...
"A bundle of DIY Flavoring
Our loss is your gain- these USPS Small Flat Rate boxes are filled with 40-50 small bottles of assorted DIY Flavorings, menthol drops and sweetener. Over a $100 value!"
Also have Unflavored EZ-DIY Liquid listed for between $7 and $20, depending on nic concentration and PG/VG ratio...
I'm not affiliated with them in any way... Just passing along the info for anyone interested...
Would be great if they could list out what's in the bundle so you know what you're getting...
They're in PA, so I'm assuming they're just grabbing stuff and tossing it in boxes to get it out the door before October 1st...
I would be interested in knowing how much DIY liquid we would get. 50$ in DIY flavorings from some other places is enough to make quite a bit of stuff.
The person on the other end of the support message system actually just sent me a message:
They are new bottles, not used, of 6-7.5ml size, and there will be 40-50 in the box.
It's ok okay deal depending where you get your flavoring.
Looking at their site, the smallest bottles of flavoring they sell are 7.5ml... 40 bottles would be 300ml... 50 bottles would be 375ml... I'd assume somewhere in that area?
On the one hand, I feel bad for these B&M stores having to shut down, because it was a great meeting place that brought people together and helped a lot quit smoking. On the other hand, they have been gouging people out of their hard earned money selling $5 - $10 bottles of eliquid for $25 - $30. Although I understand the principles of expenses and profit, I never understood why they needed to make 200% - 300%+ profit.
I live right down the road from these guys, and they're fantastic people. Their "premium" line was $12/30ml, and their normal line was $8-10/30ml. Their stuff was actually pretty good, and was where I bought my juice before DIY.
I would never buy my equipment from them though, unless I desparately needed something (I've bought wire/cotton/batteries there before).
Sucks to see this happen to them
I agree, it is sad. They seemed to have a good business. Here in Canada, a 30 ml bottle of brand name e-liquid goes for $25 - $30. If you want cheaper, you have to buy in-house juices which are usually single or dual flavoring mixes for $15 - $20.
Yeah, Azure only sells their own line. I mean, it's nothing super special, but I enjoyed it. They do have one flavor that I'll miss that I'd buy occasionally just to support them a little.
But yeah, I agree the price gouging is ridiculous. Cuttwood is a prime example. $12 for a 15ml bottle that probably cost them $.50 to make?
Alrighty, so there's really no reason to follow up on my last post but i have nothing better to do so here goes the contents of my haul. I ordered a Diy flavor box and a small box of vape supplies for $75 The DIY flavor box contained 37 7.5ml bottles of flavoring, this is going to be great since i dont have too many flavorings and now i have some goodies to experiment with.
The small box of supplies had a lot of outdated tech - old ego tank with 5 coils(silica wicks), a cartomizer cone, some device wraps that i have no idea what they go to, some wicking material, small ego batt, lanyard and ego charger. Some good picks were the cartomizer tank, 5ml syringe, 510 volt meter, 2 drip tips, chuff cap.
not to great but glad to help them liquidate :D
