A few weeks ago I set out to tackle a strawberry cake batter recipe. Ironically enough someone posted a few days ago here saying they were trying to accomplish this exact profile. I hope he/she gets to mix this one up along with any others that have the flavorings. I am new to posting recipes and would love some feedback. Here is my interpretation of strawberry cake batter when you just put them in the oven and are licking your mixing bowl clean.
Strawberry Batter
Cake Batter Dip (FW) 4.5%
Cream Fresh (FA) .5%
Cupcake Batter (FLV) 2%
Strawberry Shisha (INW) 1%
Sweet Strawberry (JF) 3%
VBIC (TFA) 2.5%
Vanilla Cupcake (CAP) 1.5%
The Strawberry
Strawberry Shisa (INW) / Sweet Strawberry (Jungle Flavors)
I never have been content with just a single strawberry in a recipe. Strawberry Shisha was my favorite strawberry for a while. It tastes to me like a candied artificial strawberry. Then I started playing around with JF sweet strawberry and was so in love due to the fact I was able to sub out CAPs versions in all my recipes and the strawberry would survive a nice steep. When I decided to mix the 2 together it gave me that artificial strawberry flavor that you would find in say a cake. Not a actual freshly picked strawberry. Im sure tons of different strawberry combinations would work well here.
The Batter
Cake Batter Dip (FW)/ Cupcake Batter (FLV)
CBD I could vape on its own at 10% and get a delicious vanilla cake/batter. Capellas version doesn't do anything for me much to get me a batter taste. So I went with FLV at 2% anything over that I get either a strong maple or playdoh taste many state they taste in Cap Glazed doughnut. I do like the mouth-feel of this flavor so I knew I had to throw it in the mix somewhere.
Batter Enhancers
Cream Fresh (FA)/ VBIC (TFA)
I wanted to give the batter a smoothness it lacked along with somewhat of a milk taste. Smoothen and make that batter more creamy.
Sweetener
Vanilla Cupcake (CAP)
I have had success in the past with this flavor to add the frosting of a cupcake or cake. I wanted to sweeten things up a bit without it being too sweet. Maybe you dropped a tiny glob of frosting in the batter? Maybe Ill do that on purpose next time I make a cake.
The recipe is delicious straight away but if you can manage to let it sit 3-5 days its magic. I hope my flavor notes were ok and I hope people get a chance to mix this one up and let me know what they think. Keep mixing ya'll!
Doesn't cake batter dip have the highest amount of fructose out of all the FW flavorings?
acording to /u/abdada's website yellow cake is the highest
FW Cake batter dip contains 10-15% fructose
FW Yellow cake is at 20-30%
i believe it does. probably why its so good. it doesnt have as much as yellow cake. yellow cake nd ginger ale fw has up to 3 times as much
Nice recipe and notes! You reckon the cupcake batter is interchangeable with CAP cake batter? Hard to get FLV in this part of the world.
