I have an order of Nude nicotine's nicotine salts "smooth" being delivered today. Anybody else had any experience with it yet? Review to follow.

I got some Signature in the other day, I'm REALLY enjoying it. It gives a throat hit/sensation similar to a cigarette, but not harsh. It's nothing like vaping a higher nicotine concentration, it doesn't make me cough or irritate my throat. It's exactly what i was hoping it would be tbh. I'm not good at writing super detailed reviews but I'll answer any questions anyone might have.

see, I've been having problems lately with having an occasional cigarette because anything over 3mg and my throat gets really irritated and I am hoping that the smooth is my way of being able to up my nicotine without that throat tightening feeling of having too high of a nic content. Do you feel like the nicotine hits you a little harder with the salts?

I've been having the same problem with smoking man. The nicotine doesn't really seem to be hitting me any harder, maybe a little but it's hard to say. The throat hit/sensation I'm getting from the Signature is really helping with the urge to smoke though. I'm going to make some high mg juice and use it in a wismec myjet (similar to the Juul). I feel like that will be about as close as I can get to a cig.

damn man, our mindset is totally similar, I've been looking at the myjet also, just haven't pulled the trigger because I haven't seen any reviews yet. I've had like every different set up one can imagine, from mechs and drippers to boxmods and rta's/sub-ohm tanks and always seems to end up finding a reasons to go back to cigs. The myjet looks like it could be a winning set up though for day to day use if these nude nic salts can emulate a real cigarette a bit better.

Very awesome, I can't wait to try it. It's kind of the next thing to order on my list lol, along with some other nicotines.

does the throat hit feel any stronger/weaker than the same nicotine strength with regular nicotine? i want to use this at like 12-24mg in my Juul, Myjet or iCare.

It does feel stronger, but not like it feels when you vape a higher nic mg then you usually would. It's very much like a Juul if you've used one of those.

Derp just reread your comment after submitting my reply and you have a Juul. So yea I think you'll like this nic. I haven't mixed it at 59mg yet but I'm going to soon and I'll load it up in my wismec myjet, pretty similar to a Juul.

I have a MyJet aswell, let me know how it works out for ya. My iCare will be in today, just waiting for your feedback to decide if I want to get Signature or Smooth.

Smooth. I didn't end up getting time to do any mixing yet but I've got a few recipes to whip up as soon as I get time.

Please do report back on the Smooth... That's the one I've been eyeing. I'm also curious as to how these nics will store. ie. Longer storage life than traditional nicotine?

What's typical turn around time for them? I purchased and received a email about packaging 3 days ago with no updated shipping.

You're probably going to want to expect to wait at least a week. A short while ago I placed an order and the turn-around was ~3 weeks. I think the order gets processed, placed in a queue for formulation/packaging, and then shipped out to you once it's ready. General turn-around seems to be 1-3 weeks, although if things are pretty backlogged it could be up to a month

Recommend anyone with faster shipping? Wouldn't have ordered with a wait like that.

I've only ever used Nude Nicotine and ChemNic. ChemNic I've only ever ordered their free sample, which was delivered very quickly. Good nic for the price point, though I wouldn't say as high quality as Nude Nicotine. IMO the product is worth the wait, so I try to make sure to order in advance.

I'm going to be ordering some nic from different vendors to try them out to hopefully be able to offer better advice on this sort of stuff.

honestly I always go with nude nic, or carolina xtract. Both have long turn around times, but I have never run out of nic because I just order in advance.

I ordered on august 11th, so about two weeks for this particular package

Expect a few weeks. I ordered a 50mL of their salts and got it in less than a week though. That was a surprise to me.

Not sure what normal time is lately, as I only order once every 6 months or so, but I ordered my last batch a week and a half ago and hadn't received word from them for a confirmation or anything. So Saturday morning I sent them an email and about an hour later I had a shipping statement in my email.

Do we have any science to explain more about the mysterious nicotine salts? I found some posts on deeper diy but has anyone ELI5 this topic yet?

I could be off base here, but this is my simplest understanding of it. When the ph of freebase nicotine (what we generally use in our e-liquids) is lowered, it forms "nicotine salts". Which from a chemistry standpoint, means that it has an equal number of positive and negative ions , making it electrically neutral. Apparently nicotine salts absorb more readily into the bloodstream than freebase nicotine. I know this isn't really a ELI5, but that is the simplest I could describe it.

Makes sense-ish. But if absorption is higher, than why are mg so high compared to freebase? That's what really throws me off.

well Im pretty sure the juul barely puts out any vapor, so naturally the nic content will be higher, but also from what I've read, when nicotine is formulated in such a way, that it wont feel like that hellfire heartburn inferno that dripping 24mg in an RDA would feel like.

I received mine last week. So far, I've mixed my Miint (Juul) clone at 30mg/ml and 50mg/ml. It's EXACTLY what I was hoping for, save for changing the flavor of my juice slightly from it's 18mg version. I'm removing the DNB, and going to try some of the INW Mint to narrow this flavor down. I've even gone as high as 30mg/ml in my AIO with a sugar cookie recipe, and it's less harsh than box-stock 12mg Kilo Strawberry Yogurt.

Been hoping to see a review of this! Looking forward.

I'm extremely interested in ordering some, since I always use Nude anyway. I want to find out if using the nic would give me a similar headrush that the Juul does, since I'm planning on quitting carrying my mod and just use either a MyJet or a Juul refilled myself. Fuck buying new pods and juice.

Ok so I finally mixed something up with Smooth. Setup is a Narda clone 2.5mm diameter 26gauge nichrome 80 9 wrap coil coming to .9ish ohms. SDNA 75 mod at 20 watts. I usually mix at 1.5-3% nic but based on what I've been reading regarding the feel of this nic I decided to mix at a little higher (4%). The nic is clear and odorless. I haven't got a nic buzz in quite some time and at 4% I got the slightest but first enjoyable nic buzz I've experienced ever to be honest. No discernable throat hit but trying to recall how the nicotine used to feel when smoking a light cigarette I feel that after 5 pulls from the juice I made was similar to that buzz I would get after the first drag of a light cigarette. This nicotine is definitely a winner in my book.

Looking forward to review, I can't wait to try this stuff, probably going to order some in the next week or so. Even if it's not a full review, I'd def like to hear your notes on it once you give it a sampling.

I'm not the most eloquent or well spoken person on the planet, so im not sure if I'll do the best job reviewing it, but I'll definitely give it a run down just so people know what its about. I was driving myself crazy trying to find a first hand account of the salts on the internets, but I couldn't find a review of any sort. I probably wont get to the review until tomorrow, possibly the next day just because Im working doubles the next 2 days, but once I try it out I'll start a new post for it.

I'm thinking about ordering either Smooth or Signature. I want that similar headrush that the Juul does but do not care for a throat hit. Will Smooth have a slower nic uptake than Signature?

1 points

I doubt that its any slower, but just to update here, because I totally forgot to, I'm really enjoying this nic, I can use smooth at 18mg in a subohm tank (usually 6mg of regular is too harsh for me) and im not choking, and sometimes when im drinking I will bring a tank with higher nic in it because thats when my cigarette cravings are the worst.
