DIY Flavours / DIY-Ejuice.com review w/ product impressions
submitted about 9 years ago by Thismafktho

This order came from DIY-Ejuice.com / DIY Flavours, and I am really really pleased with it. Shipping only took TWO BUSINESS DAYS from click. Ordered Friday night, shipped Monday and arrived Wednesday from BC to Ontario. ALL PRICES BELOW ARE IN CAD! :)

~~

10 L Vegetable Glycerin - This came in one huge jug full of VG and the cap was placed on tight and secured with electrical tape really nicely. This VG definitely seems like good quality from my test batch I made. $79.95

150x 65 ML Dropper Bottles - These bottles are really nice. I definitely prefer them over glass bottles and so do all of my friends. $0.75 x 150 for $112.50

60 ML Black Cherry by Flavour Art - This smells like a really nice cherry and I'm really excited to try this out soon. $12.95

60 ML Vanilla Classic by Flavour Art - As soon as I smelled this it smelled like a classic vanilla. The name is accurate! Put some in a test batch last night and it tasted great. $12.95

120 ML Cola (USA Pleasure) by Flavour Art - This flavour smells and tastes EXACTLY like coca cola gummies. This flavour is really great, I love it. $18.95

250 ML Strawberry (Ripe) by TFA/TPA - Last time my friend ordered this flavour it was deep yellow looking and tasted bunk which was really disappointing considering how highly reviewed this flavour is. This time around, the juice is transparent and smells really really nice. Haven't tried it but I'm under the impression that this time we got a good batch. $22.95

120 ML Razzberry v2 by Capella - This flavour smells sooooooo good. I am really excited to try it. It smells like a really really nice raspberry. Not sour, not overly sweet but just perfect. I cannot wait to try it. $18.95

120 ML Pineapple by TFA/TPA - I haven't gotten a chance to try this yet either, but it definitely smells like a super nice pineapple. A lot of our recipes are calling for pineapple so I'm optimistic :) $13.95 (AMAZING PRICE)

120 ML Sweet Mango by Capella - This was the only flavour that I opened and didn't instantly fall in love with. I'm not 100% sure but I believe it was sucralose that I could smell very distinctly. I'm kind of worried, a lot of recipes I have include this mango. Hopefully it tastes nice! $18.95

120 ML Sweet Watermelon by Capella - Now this one when I opened it smelled heavenly. I'm a big fan of watermelon flavours. We we're aiming to find a good watermelon candy but we couldn't find anything highly reviewed so we ordered this and are not disappointed. Looking forward to mixing this. $18.95

60 ML Koolada 10% by TFA/TPA - No smell. Haven't tried it yet but have heard great things. Another concentrate I am excited to try. $8.95

Subtotal: $340.00

HST: $44.17

Shipping & Handling: $48.27

Grand Total: $432.44

Thank you for reading! I am super satisfied with this organization and definitely will be making more purchases in the future. Feel free to leave any suggestions as to what I can add, or some really nice recipes I could try with these flavours! Thanks again and happy vaping :)

Edit: Forgot to mention something. I had requested for them to try and find a way so that the package isn't simply delivered and left unattended if I was not there to grab it. I had no idea how they were gonna do it, but the smart people at this organization made it as easy as requiring a signature. Luckily I was around to sign for the package, but kudos for the having my back :)

11 days ago, you opened a thread asking what "essential" flavors to buy to start an ejuice company. I guess you magically transformed into a professional mixologist at a remarkable pace. :)

It was clear that nobody was going to just give me the answers I was looking for so I did my own research and purchased products according to the information I found :)

What's the point of a community if you can't get any support? As far as I'm concerned, 80% of this sub can make like a tree and fuck off

I really hate how this sub is filled to the brim with pompous pricks who would rather insult noobs instead of helping.

Take your thumb out of your ass or fuck off.

Nah, you fuck off. This isn't the DIYORDIE Facebook group. We don't tolerate morons here.

YOU'RE SO ENTITLED

Exactly why I stopped posting and helping this community. Bunch of uptight pricks 90% of the time.

I'm just glancing at the sidebar right now where it says DIY_eJuice Etiquette and looking at the points listed. Most of the drama in this sub are about breaking these rules. People just get tired of seeing the same shitposts over and over, sometimes they snap, I can't really blame them.

Logged in, just to up vote this. I'm fairly new at mixing, and that's also the impression this sub gave me.

Protip: If you want to find useful info: search the sub, and don't read anything that is less than a year old.

How about you fuck off? No one is forcing you to come here.

That said, I have seen a lot of new mixers helped out here. One of the most active threads is the new mixers thread. From what I have seen, people don't have a problem helping out new mixers. They have a problem with new mixers not taking the time to do the research, read the sidebar, and follow the rules. It's pretty fucking simple honestly...

Yup, agree fully. It's so dumb to claim we don't help newbies and then get all salty and downvoting the rebuttals. Instigate elsewhere please. If you have a problem with the rules, take it up with the mods. Don't come in here acting like we're a paid customer service that's somehow obligated to help.

+1, Kelly and the team at diy-ejuice are a class act. Never had any issues, pricing is more than fair and they truly have the best selection I have seen on one spot.

CAP Sweet Mango (and other mango concentrates) do smell kind of weird, they have the same sort of soapy kind of aroma as the actual fruit.

But they do taste good! And the soap smell isn't as noticeable in the concentrations used in a mix.

Thanks for the input. The Sweet Mango will definitely not be a stand alone flavour. We have some ideas for some recipes with it :)

I'd say you overpaid for your flavorings and VG, then again I don't live in Canada.

Bull City Vapors offers 120mL TFA flavorings for $8.50 and 120mL CAP and FA for $12.99.

Bulk Apothecary sell their VG for $13.40 a gallon.

Not for sure about the currency exchange rate or availability of these products there, but it seems high compared to what I pay in the US.

Did you acquire any nicotine? Price?

We read really good reviews for Eastcoastvape and the price was really competitive so we just went with them.

Thanks a lot for this post. I'm located the next town over from these guys and I have to say, their prices are extremely competitive. I've just started DIY and have so far been importing everything from the US since most Canadian vendors are severely over priced. These guys look really good and have local pickup to boot!

I go to Abbottsford frequently myself and pick up my orders so I don't have to pay for shipping :)

Am I the only one that thought "secured with electrical tape really nicely." was comical?!

Ahh, so that's why they're out of stock on the 65ml bottles, lol.

Unrelated to this post but I just got off the phone with these guys a couple hours ago and they are super helpful over the phone. It turns out that they DO carry INW Dirty Neutral Base but it's just not on their site for some reason.

Looks like I bought them out! Hahahaha

Yeah, no Idea either. I'd also like to know

Yeah DYI-ejuice.com is awesome. I'm also Canadian, and they are my one stop shop. They vacuum seal everything, fast shipping, and never had a leaky/questionable package from them.

What do you plan to mix?

We have 3 recipes perfected and about 6 bottles steeping right now. The ones we have perfected are a cherry vanilla Coke, a vanilla Coke, and one that we're calling Island breeze ;)

1 points

by thedirtyprojectorabout 9 years agoMixologist

3 recipes "perfected". More like 3 recipes stolen, amirite? ;)

2 points

by Thismafkthoabout 9 years ago

Are you really still lurking? No, we haven't stolen any of our recipes. One thing I will admit is that our Island Breeze is an adaptation of another recipe. But we changed it up and made it our own.

I love this company as well. I can get everything I need there and they are normally pretty good at getting stuff they don't already have.
